We do not recommend using any non-wood bat, including the 2013 Easton S2 BBCOR: BB13S2 Adult, in temperatures below 60°F (16°C). In those temperatures, the ball becomes much more dense and could damage or shorten the useful life of your bat.

You will probably have quite a bit more bat speed with the S2 as the two-piece model will allow for additional flex through the zone.
