Pros: The CF5 is unlike any other composite bat out there. It does not sound like the older composite bats. The older ones sound like a clunk when you hit with it, this sounds like an aluminum. Balance is just as great as the Omen from Easton. Same price as one too. Great power transfer.
Cons: Price is a bit steep
Pros: Incredible performance for a BBCOR. Well balanced and swings smooth. Only limited game use so far but it seems like it has an enormous sweetspot.
Cons: None yet
Pros: This is the best bat ever. I am 13 years old and i just got the 31" 28 oz. and i can swing it fine. The team has a 2011 demarini voodoo, 2012 louisville slugger EXO, 2012 louisville slugger OMOHA, and a 2012 easton SURGE and this is the best bat by far. IT has way better pop than any of the BESR bats that I have ever used.Almost the whole barrel is a sweet spot.IF you hit it on the CF5 it is GONE!
Cons: NONE NONE NONE this is the best bat ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pros: this bat is great. It looks amazing. great pop off the barrel, which takes up half the bat.It has a cool finish which gives it a different feel.
Cons: I got the bat friday, and the tape seperated on saturday afternoon after 4 at bats. Also, it scratches extremely easily. Finally, 400 is a lot for a bbcor. c'mon demarini
Pros: Bat looks great and has really good balance, but performance isn't there
Cons: It's stingy and has no distance. Going to be sticking with aluminum for now.
Pros: what else can i say...DeMarini has stepped up there game with this bat. It has AMAZING pop for a bbcor or besr. I love the sick graphics on this thing too. This is by far the best bat i have ever owned and i have owned many high quality bats the past couple years.
Cons: why did they put a cons section for the CF5?
Pros: This is an amazing bat. Not sure what Tony G is talking about. It has a great feel and the performance is phenomenal.
Cons: The only thing I would say is chipping but it really doesn't matter.
Pros: Wow there are definitely some Demarini employees writing these reviews! This bat couldn't hit within 40 feet of any of my team's other bbcor bats. The swing weight was great and it looks awesome but that's about it.
Cons: You will be outhit by your teammates who use Surges (or probably ANY other BBCOR bat) :(
Pros: Best bat ever. No it's not hot out of the wrapper. It says COMPOSITE. Break it in before use!
Cons: None
Pros: The best BBCOR bat out today. The bat is balanced, and has great pop. The cf5 with its new tr3 composite gives it better pop then most bbcor bats because its not alloy.
Cons: 399 is way to much. BESR bats should cost this much not BBCOR! But you'd be a fool not to buy it.
Pros: Large sweet spot for a BBCOR, good feel. It feels just like the CF4 i've been swinging.
Cons: Price. Very similar to the Rawlings 5150, and costs double.
Pros: great pop. sounds and feels like wood but goes much farther. i got it yesterday and it seems very durable. it has a stiff handle which is something i like.
Cons: mine is not broken in yet but i can tell there is a lot more power to come but it does not come fresh right out of the wrapper. it is a composite bat.
Pros: Looks and Demarini's return policy
Cons: Usually a Demarini fan (CF3 favorite bat all time), but this bat is garbage! Hard to explain, but it feels like the sweet spot has the least amount of pop, the ball goes further when I get jammed! Returned this right away and luckily my return was accepted.
Pros: i like it alot and its very evenly weighted has a very large sweet spot and a really strange sound but if your not guna buy a bat because it sounds strange when you hit the ball then you dont really care about how your performance is as much as you should. this bat shows how good of a hitter you really are and your power so a little dinky swing wont be a bullet.
Cons: its $400 but i cant complain and also does chip easy.
Pros: the balance on the bat is amazing, and when you hit it it doesn't sound like the old composite bats but not like aluminum either it is in the middle, the pop is very good for a BBCOR i have tested others and there performance isn't close to CF5's i would recommend this to everyone, it is well worth the price
Cons: Nothing
Pros: This is a fantastic BBCOR bat. Surprising pop for a BBCOR. BUT... you MUST break it in first! It is composite after all :)
Cons: Nada
Pros: Big Sweet Spot, Nice pop, Nicely balanced
Cons: Scratches easily(doesnt effect the performance of the bat), You will eventually need a new grip because the standard one isnt good qualitly
Pros: best bat on BBCOR market. has alot of pop
Cons: none
Pros: I tried this through the demo house, and i loved it! weighting felt great, sounds powerful, and hit shots--and it wasnt even broken in fully!
Cons: price
Pros: son was using BBCOR 2011 Voodoo before we made this purchase. No comparison... The CF5 is far superior with a better balance and larger sweet spot.
Cons: none... it's a BBCOR, the players who work on their swing are going to be rewarded. The big kids with bad swings are going to be left behind with the new standards.
Pros: great bat, tons of pop for bbcor feels like the red cf3. BUT the marucci cat 5 has just as much pop if not more
Cons: way to expensive.
Pros: Best BBCOR bat on the market. The CF5 is worth every penny!! But you need to break it in first.
Cons: Weird sound but it doesn't matter.
Pros: very nice bat great pop very large sweetspot very nice finish seems to always find a hole in the defense also theres really no sting if you hit it wrong
Cons: scratches easily and the tape on the handle came loose
Pros: 1- Excellent balance and feel 2- Feels lighter than my same weight and length CF4 BESR 3- Ball explodes off barrel in practice (have yet to use in a game, will see in Fall Ball) 4-Best BBCOR on market (you get what you pay for)
Cons: 1- BBCOR 2- Price 3- Break in period for all composite bats 4- Need another bat til this bat breaks in, more money, (will use Rip-It Prototype, "good bat" as well)
Pros: Large sweet spot, doesn't sting if hit wrong. Worth the money
Cons: takes a while to break in
Pros: Probably the best out of the BBCORs.It is smooth, well balanced, decent sweetspot, and incredible pop.Would recommend.
Cons: Not very cheap.
Pros: Amazing!!! Very good pop compared to the other bbcor's. The weight is very well distributed and to my surprise I was able to have a faster swing than normal. Takes a few trips to the cages to break in but it's worth every penny...
Cons: Has some vibration but not nearly enough to sting your hands, a little pricy
Pros: The ball explodes off the bat. I can feel the flex of the barrel. CF5 is very well balanced, and it doesnt sting at all when i hit off-center hits. I got the 33/30 bat, and it feels so light when i swing with it. Overall, best bat that you can buy, if your willing to pay $400. I play Babe Ruth baseball, and i am 13 years old.
Cons: It's $400! But, then again, they are using the most advanced composite material in baseball. Also, as everbody else has been saying, it chips easily. Last but not least, it's BBCOR. All BBCOR bats wont have as much pop because of the new regulations. I know alot of people are saying that Demarini employees are also saying this bat is great, but i wanna say that in no way am i affiliated with demarini, nor do i know anybody who works at demarini.
Pros: This Bat is amazingly hot when I first took it to the field for batting practice. I can't wait to get in to a game with it. I say it's the best bat on the market of the BBCOR's
Cons: There is no cons for this bat.
Pros: Huge sweet spot. It's like swinging a tennis racket!! Perfect balance. Great pop. p.s. I don't work for Demarini!!
Cons: Expensive
Pros: none
Cons: this bat isnt worth the money...and it has the worst vibrations i ever felt in a bat...even on the sweet spot it feels like your about to break all of your fingers.
Pros: Has big sweet spot.
Cons: Chips, scratches, rattles, and flat out runs out of hits wayy to fast. This bat will last a year at most.
Pros: Good looks, good pop for bbcor, nice grip, decent barrel size
Cons: Its bbcor which means not alot of pop a little pricy but kinda worth it.
Pros: Well balanced and felt great when swinging it. It better then the voodoo. It is worth the money.
Cons: none yet
Pros: Looks awesome, sounds awesome, has great pop. Made of a imitation of crystals, making it very durable.
Cons: none. many people think being bbcor is bad, but doesnt really matter if you can adjust.
Pros: awful has no pop and has 2 much drag
Cons:
Pros: Used my friends. has great pop and no sting. give it 5/5
Cons:
Pros: this bat is amazing.with the price i was first skeptical but it proved to be the best bat on the market
Cons: none
Pros: Great bat feels alot lighter than it is. Very balanced for a bbcor bat.
Cons: Price but you get what you pay for.
Pros: best bat EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cons: none, best bat ever
Pros: everything, and it doesnt vibrate much. idk what everyone is talking about. i dont even use gloves and it feels fine. looks great too
Cons: the price is the only issue
Pros: I bought the 31-28 and really like the feel of the bat. very little vibration which makes me feel like I can hit it anywhere on the bat. Has nice pop to it. Ive hit the Voodoo and the 5150 Velo But at the end of the day I like the results of the Cf5.
Cons: The cost. Could be a little Cheaper.
Pros: nothing
Cons: small sweet spot, bad weight ratios, paint chips, grip falls off, its feels like a wooden bat its horrid.
Pros: ITS AWSOME . I LOVE IT.
Cons: I DONT THINK THERES ANY THING WRONG WITH IT. ITS PRICEY BUT IF YOU ARE A PARENT I UNDERSTAND BUT THEY WILL GET THE WHILES WORTH
Pros: Nice look, very balanced, long barrell, good grip
Cons: Expensive
Pros: hes the best pop for any bbcor, nobody beats. Has the best design by far with a sleek design and scinec to back up its technology
Cons: zero
Pros: This bat is the best bbcor bat on the market and it has the most pop of the bat out of all of the bbcor bats I have used. It looks awesome and it is composit which is the best thing a bat can be made out of. Furthermore, the bat has an awesome grip and the grip does not peel easy which is awesome. The gold paint doesn't chip and it is really shiny. The graphics on the bat are so cool. The end cap is made out of what looks like dimands. It feels and looks cool.
Cons: The bat is $400.00 for a bat, but I guess that is the cost for an awesome bat like the CF5.
Pros: Great pop for a bbcor and I have been an Easton fan for a while but after using this bat my preference has completely changed
Cons: Price is a bit high
Pros: When you hit it, it feels so weird
Cons: it is not worth it i would recomend easton stealth bats.
Pros: This bat is amazing i had no problems with mine the first day it has a large sweet spot and a lot of pop
Cons: everybody wants to use it
Pros: Demarini has outdone itself once again!!!! My son used to swing the CF3, CF4 (his all-time favorite) and EXO Grid. Then we purchased the EXO Grid BBCOR (not bad) but he wanted to try the CF5 BBCOR and glad he did. LISTEN: THe new rules are there for a reason and the BBCOR is supposed to separate the boys from the men. If you can handle swinging with wood, then you more than likely have reached your limited potential and won't like ANY BBCOR. This one is the best .... period.
Cons: Yes, it's expensive.
Pros: solid contact nice sound a ton of pop
Cons: grip is kind of slippery
Pros: The bat is sick !!! Great pop and balance nothing better. Had a invite to test out all the new bbcore bats in carney nc at the USA training facility and I will not hit anything but demarini Alex L South j jersey
Cons: People have a problem with the price I paid 350 for mine you can't put a price tag on your equipment if your a serious ball player why would you. This bat is hands down the best bat in the market!!!!!
Pros: The design is nice. The grip is nice at first before it rips which i can guarantee will happen within two weeks. Above average sweet spot.
Cons: The grip. You also need to give this bat time to break in. At first i thought it was a waste of 400 dollars, but once if finally was able to break it in it was worth every penny.
Pros: My son plays travel ball and school ball. This bat has great pop,the grip is great, and it might not matter to some people but it looks cool.My son and I recommend this bat to all serious baseball players even though its pricey.
Cons: The price is high, but worth it!
Pros: The only thing i can think of that is good about this bat is the looks of it, it takes forever to break in and stings ur hands even when u hit it in the sweet spot, its sweet spot is probable about an inch long.
Cons: Wat to expensive! Will last u a year at the longest. Good look, but will ding up really easy, Rattles ur hands even if u hit it in the 1in. sweet spot!
Pros: hands down the best bat my 14 yr old son has ever used. last year he was using the combat B3 and when he started with the new CF5 he immediately noticed the flex and the sound. The bat is just about broken in and the pop is DEFINTIELY noticeable now. The recoil from the flex adds to the power of this bat and is defintely worth every penny.
Cons: Just the amount of time to break it in. If you wwant immediate pop, use it for soft toss with regulation balls for atleast 100 hits.
Pros: Great balance
Cons: No pop off the bat like other bbcor bats
Pros: Alot of pop for a BBCOR
Cons: Second year in a row I have had the knob break off the bat! (CF4 and a CF5) $400 dollar bat with a $3 dollar knob! Never gonna buy another one!
Pros: amazing feel...great pop!....no sting! HUGE sweet spott
Cons: nothing maybe a bit pricey...its worth it tho
Pros: feels good when you hit it solid
Cons: dont hit it solid and above average sting, bat broke in less than a month, cant use under a certain temperature
Pros: NONE
Cons: This bat has NO POP, the biggest waste of money, I am one of the best power hitters in the nation and this bat is awful!!! Use the baum bat over this anyday!!!!! DO NOT BUY IT!!! Rip it is the best metal BBCOR BAT!
Pros: -Feels light -More pop than any other bbcor bat -Sweet design -Nice grip -Not super expensive any more, better bat than the voodoo for the same price -Doesn't need broken in that much
Cons: -Easily scratched, paint occasionally chips, not a big deal
Pros: looks cool, sounds good, okay pop.
Cons: performs awfully next to the easton s1. they are the same price and the s1 is 10 times better. trust me
Pros: Pretty good bbcor bat. light swing weight. Good while it lasts, but unfortunately, that isnt very long!!!!
Cons: Doesn't last. Bought it last June and used it during the summer. It started losing pop half way through. Completely dead by end of season, and it was $399.99. Demarini's customer service is a joke!!! Buy a Rip-It!! A lot cheaper and great customer service!!!!
Pros: light
Cons: too expensive and too much flex
Pros: well balanced
Cons: lost its pop . Well short of other bats . very disappointed . wood is better
Pros: good sweet spot and lots of bend
Cons: i hand broke mine 4 times the caps have came off and the barrel. to much money for the bat it does not preform like it should
Pros: good
Cons:
Pros: Good bat, nice pop, pretty big sweet spot. Awesome for a contact hitter! HUGE sweet spot- From the E to the Final I in Demarini
Cons: I liked it for a while, but after I started gaining power, and got stronger, I started to like the stiffer z1000. wasnt worth $400, until I gave it to my brother. So it was a pretty good buy.
Pros: looks kool
Cons: no pop, sounds toom much like a wood bat. Stick to buying the cf5 as a little league bat.
Pros: The bat has a light feel to it, good for contact hitting cutting over the ball for a solid feel, great sound, and Liners every time.
Cons: Easily scratched, small sweet spot, not a bat for power hitters whatsoever.
Pros: THE BEST BAT EVER!!!!!!!!! I hit 34 homeruns with this bat in only 8 games and i am only 11
Cons: AWSOME (ya buddy)
Pros: Looks pretty cool.
Cons: Why waste $400 when you can go buy a voodoo or vexxum for less. No pop and waaayyyy top heavy.
Pros: everything
Cons: nothing
Pros: great pop, nice barrel, a great grip
Cons: price
Pros: This bat is an okay choice for contact hitters. Used a brand new one from a kid on my team, had 3 line drive base hits. However, the pop isn't that great, and I'm a power hitter, and some of my hits just died off the sweet spot, they didnt carry well like with the 2013 voodoo (red), omen, s1, rip-it and others, some of which are less money...
Cons: Not great pop, do not buy this if you're a power hitter, however great for contact hitters. looks cool, good balance, but WAY overpriced... probably only worth $200 for its performance
Pros: BEST BAT EVER!!! First up bat got a triple! This bat is the one yo want. Sure it's $400 but worth every dollar! Great pop, extremely balanced, and looks wicked! This is the bat to have!
Cons: Scratchs way to easliy but doesn't affect the performance.
Pros: The bat has pop when you hit the sweetspot
Cons: I've had the bat for about one month and I hit okay but when I use my other bat the combat b3 adult I hit great. also it scratches and small sweetspot
Pros: Great bat a lot of pop and very balanced. Used it for 3 games and have 4 doubles and 3 singles. Best BBCOR out there in my opinion.
Cons: Scratches easily but it doesn't really matter
Pros: not much
Cons: its very top heavy not good for a kid 13 yearsold he probally wont be able to use it until he goes to high school im guessing it has pop cuz it costs 400 not a good bat buy the easton typhoon save money and has 10x more pop
Pros: has a lot of pop
Cons: sounds wierd
Pros: Good weight distribution
Cons: Bat is dead after one season... Not worth the money.
Pros: Lots of pop, great feel, feels WAY lighter than it should. Feels like a drop 5 or even drop 8 even though its bbcor.
Cons: expensive, everyone wants to use it
Pros: Great placement of weight allows for centripetal force to increase momentum which = more bat speed.
Cons: price is steep on this sight. amazon has a few new listed under $200
Pros: lots of power
Cons: i have nothing bad about this bat
Pros:
Cons: This bat had very little pop compared to other bbcor bats. I would not recommend this bat to anyone.
Pros: Purchased the 33 -3 and the bat felt more like the weight of a 32.
Cons: Very small sweet spot and when you do hit the sweet spot the ball does not go nearly as far as it feels like it should, ive swung the BBCOR voodoo and have been very dissapointed with Demarini, save your money and get the Rawlings velo or the Rip-It prototype II much better BBCOR bats in my opinion.
Pros: good pop good grip very balanced
Cons: to me your paying 400 for the pop of the voodoo but still a great bat
Pros: THIS IS MY 2ND REVIEW OF THE SAME CF5. MY 14YR OLD SON STILL HAS TONS OF POP FROM THIS BAT. IN FACT, HE JUST WON HIS TEAM A BYE IN THEIR LAST TOURNAMENT WITH A TRIPLE OFF THE LEFT FIELD FENCE. THE BAT IS STILL PRODUCING AMAZING HITS IN THE GAP AND OUT HITTING ANY OTHER BAT HE HAS EVER USED. WHEN SQUARED UP AND HIT IN ITS ENORMOUS SWEET SPOT THERE ISN'T A BETTER SOUNDING BAT. MY SON IS A POWER HITTER AND THAT'S WHAT THIS BAT IS MADE FOR. IN MY OPINION SOME OF THIS BATS REVIEWS ARE FROM SINGLES HITTERS USING THE WRONG BAT?? iF YOU ARE A STRAIGHT OUT POWER HITTER THAN THERE ISN'T A BETTER BAT YOU CAN GET THAN THIS ONE!!!!
Cons: THE BAT DOES SCRATCH VERY EASILY BUT IS NOT AFFECTING ITS PERFORMANCE WHATSOEVER !! TAKES A FEW SWINGS TO GET USED TO THE FLEX.
Pros: I think its a great composite bat with the half n half technology, it gives you a more effitiont and lighter swing and its the balanced bat on the market. the best bat, the best price, The DeMarini CF5.
Cons:
Pros: Solid bat. has good pop, good balance, well worth the money
Cons: Chips easily
Pros: No pros worst bat I've ever used.
Cons: Never feels like you get solid contact. Always feels like you hit it of the end no matter what. DO NOT BUY!! Getting an Easton S1 best BBCOR bat out there.
Pros: amazing bat im betting one as soon as i get enough money its has amazing feel one and probably the lightest bbcor ive ever held XD
Cons: little pricey but thats why im getting a 2012 instead of 2013 and i think 2012 looks better XD
Pros: quick break-in and a light swing weight.
Cons: after the season it lost all pop. This bat was amazing until after the season.
Pros: Great Balance, Pop and Feel!! Love This Bat!1
Cons: The Grip gives blisters.
Pros: great pop i hit so well a little bit of contact and you are driving the ball best bbcor bat ive used
Cons: NONE
Pros: ive had this bat for a year and half now its great for base hits and has a nice long barrel for a bigger sweet spot then the usual bbcor bat
Cons: scratches easy, kinda handle heavy if you ask me, grip comes off and when you first get hits with it stings alot
Pros: It has a lot of pop to it. It looks nice its cost alot if money but you get what you paid for. I pkay on a team and ever since i got this bat i been only hitting doubles and homeruns i have batted 21 times and only got out 4 times i recommend this bat to anyone who wants to be a better hitter. This bat is worth it
Cons: None
Pros: GREAT FEEL. LOVE IT!
Cons: ALL THE OTHER PLAYERS WANT TO USE IT!
Pros: One of the best bats ever. It has great po and its balenced. It has great flex which helps you drive the ball farther.
Cons: you should practice hitting with it to break it in before using it at a game.
Pros: The best martial it has the most pop out of all my bats. Very easy to control. I recommend it to everyone!
Cons: NONE
Pros: Good bat. Feels Smooth.
Cons: Not that alot of pop.
Pros: nice bat very expensive.
Cons: broke from handle, never seen metal bats brake.after a year of use,for the price is not worth the time of use.
Pros: its amazing, has great pop.
Cons: none yet.
Pros: Perfect for base hits and power shots when you need it.
Cons: Everyone wants to use it
Pros: This bat has so much pop when broken in. I love this bat!!!!!!!
Cons: ABSOLUTELY NONE.
Pros: good bat top heavy great pop
Cons: good for half a season or one and then the pop is gone and price is steep
Pros: ITS A GREAT BAT THAT MAKE YOU HIT IT FAR
Cons:
Pros: the greatest bat I've ever had, great for the price.
Cons: you will get a better deal if you buy it in a bat pack
Pros: Great pop, basically the same as the new CF5, just cheaper. If you are thinking about getting the new one just get this and a nice wood bat for the same price.
Cons: Not the best grip, easy fix with pine tar.
Pros: perfectly balanced. Ball jumps off of the bat- LOTS of pop. Love the grip.
Cons: Paint scratches easily
Pros: great pop has a huge barrel and love it
Cons: none
Pros: The CF5 is an outstanding bat. The S2 is also an excellent bat.
Cons: A little pricey.
Pros: Bat is amazing, the pop is incredible. It takes a little while to break-in but once broken-in it hits like no other bat! I'm very happy I got this bat.
Cons: It took a little while to break-in.
Pros: This bat has such a sick design and it has amazing grip and it sounds really cool when the ball hits the barrel. Their is hardly and vibration whether you hit it on the sweet spot or the end of the bat or even inside. Has great pop too.
Cons: nothing
Pros: I used this bat during batting practice after taking a 2 year break and love it. havent tried the rip-it yet but this bat is amazing. good pop, good grip. the sweet spot is all through the bat. didnt get one stinger on a 33 degree day. love it!
Cons: None!
Pros: Very well balanced bat, Great Pop. Excellent Price.
Cons: None
Pros: Good pop if you arent quite a power hitter.
Cons: If you have any power if felt it was a struggle to drive the ball, just didnt get the carry you get like a Z1000 or Exo, Marucci also.
Pros: I am a high school baseball player and extremely impressed with this bat. It has AMAZING POP with a very light-feeling swing for the fastball pitchers. It has by far the lightest swing on the market and has a humongous sweet spot. Comes in pretty broken in, but progressively gets better the more you use it. You can feel the trampoline effect the second the ball makes contact with the bat. Best choice for the contact hitters who know how to put the ball in play looking for an extra boost of power on their swing.(Especially good for the opposite field hitters) Great bat for a great price
Cons: Doesn't have that loud "ping" you would have in most alloy bats.
Pros: great pop great sound. very balanced
Cons: waranty. my composite was cracking so i sent it back and they returned it saying it "wasnt from normal use" never used it on anything but leather covered baseballs
Pros: Great bat, huge sweet spot, loving it.
Cons: Everybody uses it.
Pros: I bought the bat pack with the CF5 and the Vexxum, it is the best deal out there. Everybody should get the bat pack.
Cons: Absolutly nothing.
Pros: alright look
Cons: this bat has bad pop and it cracked right when i got it not a good choice
Pros: Competes with the old CF3!! The CF5 is really nicely balanced. Everyone says it feels like a -5 which is perfect for someone making the transition to a -3 for highschool. Gets hotter with age!
Cons: Everyone asks if they can use it.
Pros: Its not about the bat but I Was chatting with Cooper G and he was a big help he sure helped me find the right bat I wanted !
Cons: None
Pros: demarini has always put out a great bat, this one is no different, lots of pop my so
Cons:
Pros: This bat is excellent. I was in the market for a bat and I tried multiple different DeMARINI modules including the 2012 M2M and the 2012 voodoo. They also had a 2013 Louisville Slugger TPX Omaha balanced that I tried. But this bat stood out with the amount of pop and balance with the hint of nose heaviness. So I bought it and now have it broken in and love this bat. Great Job DeMARINI!
Cons: Only one so far that is it scratches very easy but when you get ball marks on it you can't see them.
Pros: Has really good pop and I also have the 2013 CF5 and I really can't tell the difference, only the 2013 is a little bit more even.
Cons: It came with two chips on the bat.
Pros: good pop hit 2 homeruns
Cons: none
Pros: My friend just bought this bat and he is very protective of it. He puts a sock over the end of it to keep it from scratching. He has hit a lot better since he got it and i want him to keep doing good come game time.
Cons: He yells at you if you try and touch it
Pros:
Cons:
Pros: Great bat, has great pop! Grip is good too.
Cons: Cost and it takes some time to break in.
Pros: Very balanced good pop for a bbcor hit a Homer last night with it hits hard line drives but also the long ball overall a great bat that I would recommend for anyone
Cons: I didn't really like the sound it makes but that doesn't effect the performance. If you hit it of the handle or end it doesn't go anywhere
Pros: for those who say this is bad bat, i strongly disagree, this bat has so much pop its unreal
Cons:
Pros: It usually never gets worn out.
Cons: This is a horrible bat for ages 13-15. It has barely any pop and first of all, never buy a BBCOR composite bat.
Pros: The bat is nicely weighted and very light. It has a great pop and the bat grip is great for people who can't stand batting gloves. Also it is durable.
Cons: Teamates want to use it a lot and it's price.
Pros: First weekend out my son crushed four shots I previously thought impossible. Great pop, large sweet spot.
Cons: None, bought it used at a sports exchange $100.
Pros: Amazing pop Good balanced feel Great grip
Cons: Price Break in period
Pros: This bat is absolutely amazing! Very well balanced, never swung a bat so balanced the new Omaha is the only bat that even compares. Love the thickness of the barrel and how it carries all the way down to the handle unlike most one-pieces or other two-pieces. It has amazing pop and is a very quiet bat. Teammates heard the sound it makes and told me it was broken, then they hit with it and loved it. Strongly suggest this bat.
Cons: I've had no problems with it other than I wouldn't use it during a cold game.
Pros: This bat is very good. Super light and a lot of pop. It's better than the Easton S1.
Cons: Nothing.
Pros: This bat is a beast. A lot of pop, best bat ever.
Cons: Nothing.
Pros: Great bat with lots of pop and no sting AT ALL! And nice grip.
Cons: Everybody wants to use it.
Pros: I guess it's only for contact hitters.
Cons: I'm a power hitter and I bought the bat new and couldn't get a far hit off of the sweet spot but when my friends used it who were contact hitters would get good shots. Doesn't make sense. DON'T GET IF YOU HAVE ANY TYPE OF POWER AT THE PLATE!
Pros: Great pop and great feel little heavy but okay I've hit two over the fence this year and just love the bat
Cons: Heavy and grip could be better
Pros: good pop for a little while.
Cons: small sweet spot. handle snapped randomly halfway through its first season. bat sounded almost dead right when i got it. not worth all the money. very disappointing with the quality of this bat.
Pros: looks "cool"
Cons: terrible for breaking in. had the bat for over 3 months and hits like it isn't broken in. no pop off the bat.
Pros: Finally, a bat my son uses! No longer watching my son's bat gather dust while he borrows a teammate's bat. Back-to-back triples in his first game using this bat.
Cons:
Pros: It has good pop when you hit the sweet spot. light swing weight.
Cons: It feels balanced, but it is really not. whenever you get an inside pitch, it is hard to get the sweet spot.
Pros: nice bat with large sweet spot
Cons: not a lot of pop and takes a long time to break in
Pros: I got a lot of pop from the bat and it feels lighter when you get used to it.
Cons: Grip tape isn't the best.
Pros: This bat is an amazing bat. Great pop, sounds and looks great. Amazing balance, amazing grip, and fair price. I would recommend this bat.
Cons:
Pros: very well balanced, get the bat through the strike zone quickly. Good bat for contact and power hitters. Great feel and look. My teammates love it.
Cons: price is high and have to rotate bat to break in the composite. Breaking in composite takes 4 months to a year.
Pros: great bat all around..balanced and light.
Cons: the cap loosens quick causing the bat to lose its pop
Pros: good pop
Cons: it broke in half (im serious) after about 10 swings in the cage
Pros: Good feel, great pop, nice grip, cool wood bat sound, durable
Cons: Everybody wants to use it.
Pros: This bat has a very light swing weight and a large contact area with strong pop, excellent grip and minimal vibration unless you hit off the end/cap area. If your looking for a bat that is quicker due to a lighter swing weight than a Plasma, 5150, S1 or any other so called balanced bats I'd put this one on the must try or buy list. It really set the bar for balance and power. It's also requires little break in and can be used out of the wrapper.
Cons: Vibration when hit at the end of the bat and price. DeMarini has a stingy return policy but the bat does hold up well.
Pros: It has a very balanced swing, feels very light and has a good pop when you hit the sweet spot.
Cons: The end cap shortens up the sweet spot a little bit and the bat vibrates really bad when you hit it off the end. It also scratches easily if that matters.
Pros: This bat needs a thicker grip on it. Regripped it twice. But overall, if you hit it on the sweet spot, it's gonna go.
Cons: Chipping and no grip

About the Brand
In 1992, DeMarini Sports had something to celebrate. The three-year-old company had climbed a rung on the proverbial ladder of success, moving its world headquarters from a dirt-floored barn to a slightly larger metal shack. "It was a big move for us," recalled Ray DeMarini from the batting cage of DeMarini Sport’s present-day Bat Industrial Complex. "The new shop was larger, more storm resistant, and -best of all- it had a heater."
In the early days, DeMarini Sports hardly made a blip on the radar screen of softball. With no retailers and virtually no advertising budget, DeMarini grew steadily by selling high-performance bats directly to customers. While established companies made "juiced" bats for the pros and ordinary bats for the public, DeMarini focused on making one line of high-performance bats for pros and amateurs alike. This approach, combined with a passion for the sport, led to the greatest innovation in softball history - the world’s first multi-wall bat: the DeMarini Doublewall.
Released in 1993, the DeMarini Doublewall was the world’s first multi-wall bat. Like a modern golf driver or oversized tennis racket, the Doublewall had a giant "sweetspot," which allowed average players to hit like pros. DeMarini’s sales exploded, and before long opposing bat manufacturers to notice. DeMarini - a homegrown company led by a softball fanatic - had shaken the establishment silly.
To understand the rise of the DeMarini Dynasty, you need to know Ray DeMarini. A cult hero among avid players, Ray DeMarini emerged on the professional softball scene at the age of 40, a veritable geriatric among younger players. With a scientific approach to training, a batting speed of 96 miles-per-hour and a bombastic attitude, DeMarini fast earned a reputation as a savage competitor.
In June of 1987, ESPN launched a nationwide search for a hardcore player to advise on a series of instructional softball videos. When approached by producer Erich Lytle, the biggest boys in softball repeatedly spoke of a five-foot-seven softball giant—Ray DeMarini. DeMarini had mastered reflex hitting, a technique that drops the ball squarely between the infield and outfield. Impressed with DeMarini's knowledge and scientific approach to training, Lytle not only hired Ray as an advisor—he hired him as the host. Together, they produced Ray DeMarini's Reflex Hitting System, ESPN's most successful home video to date.
Having garnered national recognition through ESPN, Ray turned his efforts toward designing a high-performance bat for the masses. To accomplish this, he needed an engineer. "Not just an engineer," he said, "but a boot-strapping rocket scientist who could build an empire with pocket change." Ray's call was answered by Mike Eggiman. Having grown up on a farm, Eggiman was adept at making the most of a situation. Case in point: the company's first piece of automated bat-making equipment had the heart of an abandoned washing machine.
With Eggiman as Chief Engineer, DeMarini Sports delivered a series of industry firsts: the first multi-wall bat (Doublewall Distance), the first high-performance bat for massive players (Fatboy) and the first high-performance youth bat (Black Coyote).
In 2000, DeMarini joined forces with Wilson Sporting Goods to develop the next generation of hitting technology. Ray believed it was a perfect fit, as both companies shared a vision of developing game-enhancing equipment for avid players. What’s more, the companies had complimentary products: Wilson was the leader in gloves, balls and protective gear, while DeMarini made the world’s finest bats. According to Chris Considine, Vice President/General Manager of Wilson Sporting Goods: "The thing that struck me most about DeMarini was their passion for sports and their true competitiveness.
Within a year, DeMarini unveiled the industry’s first concept bat, the $35,000 F1. Secured under lock and key at the DeMarini Bat Industrial Complex in Hillsboro, Oregon, the F1 served as a technological storehouse for future products, including DeMarini’s landmark Half & Half system.
In December 2001, 12 years after the genesis of DeMarini Sports, Ray DeMarini died of cancer in his Northwest Portland home. He was 55. The next summer, the Portland Metro Softball Association paid homage to the “King of Softball” with the dedication of Ray DeMarini Field. Formerly known as Delta #1, the field was DeMarini’s favorite place to test bats during the early days of business. Ray DeMarini—bat maker and player extraordinaire—was remembered for his high-performance softball bats and unwavering encouragement of everyday players. Today, a 40-foot sign announcing RAY DEMARINI FIELD graces the outfield, and an interpretive display chronicling Ray’s life greets players as they register for games.
More "Insane Dedication to Performance" is in store for tomorrow.
