The handle size on the Chandler Manhattan Project Maple Wood Bat (MP1BH Adult) will be slightly less than a full inch. The barrel diameter will be between 2 1/2" and 2 5/8". This bat would be highly recommended for a power hitter. This was a preferred bat in last season's MLB All-Star Game.

For a power hitter, this (MP1BH) would be a good option for a power hitter with its end loaded swing weight. Other good end loaded options from Chandler would be the (OT19), (CC13), or (MP1YC). You can contact Chandler Bats directly at: (877) 497-2287 to discuss the possibility of a custom design. But their website, www.chandlerbats.com, is not currently live.

The Chandler Manhattan Project Maple Wood Baseball Bat (MP1BH) Adult is a terrific bat for a power hitter. Where the CC13 is better for a contact hitter. The I13 turn model is ideal for contact hitters and has a more balanced swing weight.

The Prospect Series bat line will not have a turn model listed. This means the bats are assorted patterns from Chandler's production line. The Chandler Pro Models will have a guaranteed turn model listed and feature pro quality wood.
