Is the weight the only thing that makes this different than a normal wood bat? Could you take batting practice with it?

The Brett Bros. Warm-Up Training Bat: ONDECK Adult should not be used in batting practice or against live pitching. A normal wood bat will be lighter than the Brett Bros. Warm-Up Training Bat: ONDECK Adult.
