Average Customer Review
Got this bat in a 27/17 for my 8 yr old. It has great balance and amazing pop. Used it for only 3 games but hit the fence with bases loaded in one, just missing a home run and hit first home run of his life, oppo over 150 foot fence in last Pinto playoff game. Not using in All Stars as it has 2 3/4 barrel.

My son has had the Omaha TPX and Demarini Vendetta. He has also used some of the Easton V12 bats his teammates use. I have to say this bat outperforms them all (especially the Omaha which I do not recommend). I read these reviews for weeks and bought several bats for my son so take it from me......stop reading these reviews and buy your kid a Worth Lithium Prodigy then sit back and watch the fireworks!!

Ask A QuestionIs this a "composite" bat?
The SLRZ10 is a one piece alloy design. Here is the link to view more details on the Miken RZR. http://www.justbats.com/product/miken-rzr--slrz10-senior-league/13497/
Looking at a 28/18 for my 9 year old who is about 60lb and needs a little extra pop. Is this bat going to hold up in kid pitch.
This is a youth big barrel bat designed for kid pitch. It's got pretty good pop and should be a good choice.
Is this bat going to hold up for a 20-30 game season?
I have talked to several customers that have used the RZR beyond 20-30 games with no issues.

Ask A QuestionMy son is in 8U baseball and I was thinking about getting him a bigger bat barrel. We have been using a Easton Typhon 28 inch and off the top of my head I think its a -12 or -13 drop. I feel that him playing with a 2 1/4 inch bat is the way to go but when we play tournaments it seems the other teams are all using the bigger barrels and it does give them a little more pop. So I want to buy him one and just really undecided what to buy him. This Worth bat seems pretty nice and has some good reviews but I would really like some inside help here on what to buy him.
The unfortunate thing about the bat market today is that there are literally dozens of high end bats out there all of which offer great pop. This can make the shopping process very difficult, but it's even more difficult to make a bad choice. If he had success with the Typhoon, I would recommend sticking with a one piece alloy design. In the $100 price range, the SLP102 is hard to beat. It has great pop and a large sweetspot. The only other bat in that price range I think could rival the Prodigy is the Rival from Easton. I still may give the Prodigy a slight advantage in terms of overall pop though. I think it will be a great choice for your son.
Any chance to still get a 29" 19 oz?
The Worth Lithium Edge Prodigy: SLP102 has been discontinued. We do have the 2013 Worth Prodigy Legit: SLP234 Senior League in a 29" 19 oz.
What is the coldest playing temperature for the prodigy?
The coldest playing temperature rating for any alloy bat is 50 degrees and anything below is not recommended.

Worth, Inc. can trace its beginning back to the year 1912, when George Sharp Lannom, Jr. purchased a tannery in Tullahoma, Tennessee and established the Lannom Manufacturing Company. Initially, the firm tanned leather for harnesses and horse collars they manufactured. However, as the automobile grew in popularity, the demand for the company's harnesses and collars declined, so Lannom shifted its manufacturing resources toward production of leather covered baseballs and softballs under the "Worth" brand, and men's leather dress gloves under the "Craig" brand.
