Got this as an upgrade from CAT5 for my 13yr old. Opened the box on Sunday AM hit the cage before double header. First pitch first hit 330' Left Center. Marucci you have done it again. Nicely balanced bat with good pop. No ping like the CAT5. The ball moves off this bat. It really feels like a wood bat.
Don't know what to do with all these DeMarini's sitting around the house.

I'm trying to decide between the Team and the S2. Which is better for a contact hitter?
The Marucci Team BBCOR: MCBT Black Adult and 2013 Easton S2 BBCOR: BB13S2 Adult are both well balanced bats, great for a contact hitter. Typically contact hitters prefer a two-piece design, so we recommend the S2.
Is this like the CAT 5? I hit good with the CAT 5 and I am 5' 11" and 170 pounds.
The Marucci Team BBCOR: MCBT Black Adult replaced the Marucci CAT 5. It is a little more end loaded than the Marucci CAT 5.

Would this PREBCOR bat be legal in 14u little league district tournaments and is it the same as BBCOR?
The 2013 Marucci Team preBCOR: MSBT5 Black Senior League will be legal for Little League Junior league. No, PREBCOR bats will not be legal for BBCOR requirements.
My son is a 6' and 175 lbs. 13 year old that is using an Easton 31" 21 oz. Should I get him a -5 or go straight to the -3?
Based on his age, we would recommend using the transition size of -5 before going on to a BBCOR model. Based on your height and weight, we recommend going to a 32" model in the 2013 Marucci Team preBCOR: MSBT5 Black Senior League bat.
