Pros:
This bat is really good. Even if you don't hit it on the sweet spot, the ball still goes stupid far.

Pros:
We just purchase 3 of these bats all different lengths for our 13 and Under traveling baseball team that has just gotten started. The boys love them. Bats have a a lot of energy and performed well for us in our 1st tournament. No visible issue with dings or dents or paint after initial use and have been using them regularly for 3 weeks now. Appear to be excellent bats for the money.
Cons:
None to date.

Pros:
The bat just keeps getting better and better once broke in.
Cons:
Keep in mind it does have a break in time.

Pros:
Got the 32/22 demo, and was a little worried about my 11yr old swinging a 32. But with the balance of the bat no problem going from 31 to 32. Really havn't broken the bat totally in, but tremendous pop so far. Larger sweetspot than s3,and great sound for a composite bat. And the bat looks cool
Cons:
none

Great bat....great price. My son loves it!
Cons:
Little bit of a break-in period because it is composite BUT it's well worth it.

Would this bat be appropriate for 10 year old playing kid-pitch in USSSA? I see it says Senior League?

The Louisville Slugger TPX Omaha: SL126XL Senior League bat is also considered a Youth Big Barrel bat on our website. It would be the appropriate category of bat for a player that faces live pitching or balls pitched by a machine. Always check with a league representative to ensure that a particular bat is approved for use in your specific league.

My son is 50lbs and 6 years old. Ive determined he needs a 26" 16 oz bat. He has a couple years of coach pitch left, but i was wondering if i should go with this bat or the coach pitch bat? Since they are the same size, which one has more pop? Since hes just starting out idk if durablity is an issue.

In a Coach Pitch league, a Junior Big Barrel bat (aka Coach Pitch bat) will have more pop as they are designed with thinner barrel walls and will have more pop in a Coach Pitch league than a Senior League bat.

Which bat do you think is better? The Louisville Slugger TPX Warrior or the Louisville Slugger TPX Omaha?

Both are good, balanced bats. The Louisville Slugger TPX Omaha will be more balanced and have a higher quality alloy resulting in better performance.

How do you break in a composite bat? I want this for my son to use in a week at a tournament? He is 8 years old and 75 pounds. Is a 28" 18 oz. an okay length and weight?

The length and weight sounds great for your son. Follow the link to see how to perfectly break in your bat. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xiZ3dzChfG0

So this bat is not legal for USSSA play, since it's not stamped BBCOR, right?

The 2013 Rawlings Machine: SLMACH Senior League bat features the new USSSA stamp and therefore would be legal for USSSA play.

Frederick Hillerich would never have dreamed of the future impact his family would have on America's favorite pastime. Here's a short video promo from Louisville Slugger. After a short while, the Hillerichs moved to Louisville, where J. Fred started a woodworking shop in 1856. Two of his sons, Adam and John Andrew "Bud" were bo.... read more

Description for 2013 Rawlings Machine: SLMACH Senior League
New for 2013! Brand new to the field this season, the Rawlings Machine big barrel bat utilizes the help of new technologies that are all designed with one goal in mind: to increase player swing speed with exceptional balance and feel! This starts with Precision Optimized Performance (pOp) Technology that results in championship caliber swing velocity and balance. This is accomplished through isolating the added weight to a smaller region on the barrel than any other competing bat, which translates into a lower swing weight. The maximum rebound zone of the bat is surrounded by thin walls that create additional flex and a larger, more reactive sweet spot. The Machine is built from Rawlings X-Treme Performance Composite that gives this bat outstanding barrel trampoline and excellent durability. Ph.D Technology is used inside the handle to dampen vibration and improve the feel of the bat. If exceptional feel matters to you, get your hands on this new bat from Rawlings! Rawlings: Performance Where It Matters Most on the Field! The Machine features the new USSSA 1.15 BPF Stamp and is approved for play in 2012 and beyond. The Machine is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!
