Outstanding bat, we've got the 30/21 for an 11 year old. Was worried that it may be to heavy for him. Man was I wrong, he hit three home runs in two games last night. Followed by one all the way to the center field fence. Funny thing is when he came to the dug out he looked at me and said, Coach I didnt even try to hit hard.
During the games I had him lay down a bunt. Not real impressed with it due to the amount of pop the bat has. My son soft bunted down third base side and ball went almost all the way to third.
son hit a 250 foot bomb over the fence with this bat, great graphics, feels solid, great pop
it feels a little heavy at first (endloaded) I would practice w it a few days or so before using in a game situation--- it definetely has a different weight distribution than the other popular models

Got the 32/22 demo, and was a little worried about my 11yr old swinging a 32. But with the balance of the bat no problem going from 31 to 32. Really havn't broken the bat totally in, but tremendous pop so far. Larger sweetspot than s3,and great sound for a composite bat. And the bat looks cool
none

Should I get this bat, or the DeMarini CF5?
The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo: DXVDR Senior League is a two- piece hybrid design with an alloy barrel and composite handle with an end loaded swing weight. The DeMarini CF5 is a two-piece fully composite design with a balanced swing weight.
I am 13, 100 lbs. and 5' tall. Should I get a -5?
The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo: DXVDR Senior League bat is the -9 model. At age 13, I would try and swing a -5 if you can. At the high school level you will be forced to swing a -3 BBCOR bat.
Is this a very balanced bat? Will it feel lighter than it really is?
The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo: DXVDR Senior League is an end loaded bat, rather than a balanced, and may feel slightly heavier than it actually is due to the weight distribution.

How do you break in a composite bat? I want this for my son to use in a week at a tournament? He is 8 years old and 75 pounds. Is a 28" 18 oz. an okay length and weight?
The length and weight sounds great for your son. Follow the link to see how to perfectly break in your bat. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xiZ3dzChfG0
So this bat is not legal for USSSA play, since it's not stamped BBCOR, right?
The 2013 Rawlings Machine: SLMACH Senior League bat features the new USSSA stamp and therefore would be legal for USSSA play.

The 2013 Rawlings Machine: SLMACH Senior League is approved for Pony leagues between the ages of 11 to 18 years of age.
