Outstanding bat, we've got the 30/21 for an 11 year old. Was worried that it may be to heavy for him. Man was I wrong, he hit three home runs in two games last night. Followed by one all the way to the center field fence. Funny thing is when he came to the dug out he looked at me and said, Coach I didnt even try to hit hard.
During the games I had him lay down a bunt. Not real impressed with it due to the amount of pop the bat has. My son soft bunted down third base side and ball went almost all the way to third.
son hit a 250 foot bomb over the fence with this bat, great graphics, feels solid, great pop
it feels a little heavy at first (endloaded) I would practice w it a few days or so before using in a game situation--- it definetely has a different weight distribution than the other popular models

This bat has lots of pop!! My son is hitting shots with this bat. The first weekend he used it in a tournament he had an inside the park homer and a double that went between 260-280 ft. Great performance for the price. Great looking bat too.
That beautiful paint job gets tarnished pretty quickly once the bat is in use. Because of the shinny black color, skuff marks from the baseballs get left on the bat fairly quickly

Should I get this bat, or the DeMarini CF5?
The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo: DXVDR Senior League is a two- piece hybrid design with an alloy barrel and composite handle with an end loaded swing weight. The DeMarini CF5 is a two-piece fully composite design with a balanced swing weight.
I am 13, 100 lbs. and 5' tall. Should I get a -5?
The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo: DXVDR Senior League bat is the -9 model. At age 13, I would try and swing a -5 if you can. At the high school level you will be forced to swing a -3 BBCOR bat.
Is this a very balanced bat? Will it feel lighter than it really is?
The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo: DXVDR Senior League is an end loaded bat, rather than a balanced, and may feel slightly heavier than it actually is due to the weight distribution.

My son is 14 and is swinging an Easton 32" 22 oz. He is in a Junior League in Little League. I think he needs a heavier bat, because he is always in front of ball, but has very quick hands. Is his only option a 32" 27 oz. or is there a drop 6?
The Easton Reflex: BX83 Senior League will only be a -5. Easton Does not make a -6 alloy bat.
Is this bat BBCOR?
No, the Easton Reflex: BX83 Senior League bat is not BBCOR certified. It features a USSSA stamp and -8.5 length to weight ratio.
Can this bat be used in Dixie Youth?
