Average Customer Review
My son has been using this bat his last 4 games now. He has never been a power hitter before. But now he is crushing the ball with this bat. It is unbelievable. I am so Impressed. Thank you DeMarini!!!!! Wow...............
None at all. This bat is hott, hott, hott...........
Just holding this bat, you can tell it's made with high quality material. It's a far cry from the $50 bats in sporting good chains. While expensive, you definitely get your money's worth. My 10 year old son has been using (30in/17oz) for a few weeks with great success. No question, the ball jumps off the bat. He's a contact hitter, but has been sending the ball to the outfield with every solid hit.

Do you have a 28" 18 oz. Voodoo?
The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo: DXVDL Youth only comes in a -13 drop, so all 28" youth Voodoo bats will weight 15 ounces.
My son's 2011 DeMarini CF4 just broke (at the handle), this was a 31" 20 oz. He used a 2011 Easton Omen XL (30" 18 oz.) last season. How will the 2013 DeMarini Voodoo (31" 18 oz.) compare to these bats? He's 11, 5' 3", 105 lbs, and a good hitter (line drives with occasional power).
The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo: DXVDL Youth will be pretty comparable to the bats he has used in the past. The Voodoo does have an end loaded feel, but since it is a -13 it should not really feel much heavier than the bats he had already used.
How far on average does the 30" 17 oz. hit?
We are unable to provide a distance on how far a ball will travel on any bat including the 2013 DeMarini Voodoo: DXVDL Youth. The distance depends on several factors including the speed of the pitch and the strength of the player.

Taking his expertise and credibility to his self-named company, DeMarini made headlines in 1993 with the world's first multi-wall bat, the Doublewall. Innovation hasn't let up since, as the company continues to be a trend-setter in baseball and softball bats. In 2000, DeMarini joined forces with Wilson Sporting Goods to develop th.... read more
