I was looking for an affordable bat that my son could use in the first couple of months of the tournament ball season. We moved up in length and weight to the 31"/23oz. My son made the adjustment very quickly because the bat is very balanced and has no sting at all. We have used bats costing $250 and $300 last year and the Vengeance seems to have just as much pop. We have had the bat for 3 weeks and everything is great. I did not let my son know what I paid for the bat and he thinks it is another high end bat! What a bargin.
I don't care what the bat looks like as long as it performs well. The BBCOR Vengeance has better paint on the red part of the handle which would have been nice. There is nothing wrong with this bat at this time.

I notice in several of the reviews there seems to be integrity issues with this bat. Easily denting, paint peeling easily, etc. What seems to be the consensus on these issues?
2013 Worth Prodigy Legit: SLP234 Senior League bat is a high performing big barrel bat. The alloy used is a good alloy, yet I have taken a few calls about dents. It is now a discontinued product.
Trying to decide between the Worth Legit and the Combat B4 Portent, can you explain the difference? And which one has more pop?
The 2013 Worth Prodigy Legit is a one-piece all alloy bat and the COMbat B4 Portent is a one-piece composite bat. Both have great pop, however the COMbat B4 does require a break-in period.
Is this the new version of the slp102
The 2013 Worth Prodigy Legit: SLP234 Senior League is very similar to the SLP102 model.
In 1992, DeMarini Sports had something to celebrate. The three-year-old company had climbed a rung on the proverbial ladder of success, moving its world headquarters from a dirt-floored barn to a slightly larger metal shack. "It was a big move for us," recalled Ray DeMarini from the batting cage of DeMarini Sport’s present-day Bat Industrial Complex. "The new shop was larger, more storm resistant, and -best of all- it had a heater." In the early days, DeMarini Sports hardly made a blip on the radar screen of softball. With no retailers and virtually no advertising budget, DeMarini.... read more
Worth, Inc. can trace its beginning back to the year 1912, when George Sharp Lannom, Jr. purchased a tannery in Tullahoma, Tennessee and established the Lannom Manufacturing Company. Initially, the firm tanned leather for harnesses and horse collars they manufactured. However, as the automobile grew in popularity, the demand for the company's harnesses and collars declined, so Lannom shifted its manufacturing resources toward production of leather covered baseballs and softballs under the "Worth" brand, and men's leather dress gloves under the "Craig" brand.
