Very light, seems to have great pop. My son is very pleased with the fact that this is very little vibration on hits that are not totally on the sweet spot. For 9U kids, this is important so that they are not afraid to swing the bat...
Nothing so far, he loves it.
Hot out of the box and one piece so you have few worries, this little baby has the most pop for the buck of any bat we've tried. Very good value.
Have seem Combat bats be kind of fragile (if your slugger takes a lot of BP), but they honor their warranty and customer service seems prompt and helpful.

That depends on what league you play in. I recommend contacting your coach or league official.

I bought the -13 Reflex 31" so my son would have a nice new bat, after using his existing bat for around 2 seasons. I want to make sure it's appropriate for his age, height, and weight. He is a very good batter, but I'm looking to allow him to bring a little more power and speed to the plate, as it's his first season going against kids pitching as opposed to the machine. He is 9 1/2 yrs. old and 80 lbs. now, and was 55" (4' 7") in October. So, I would guess he's an inch or two taller. Please email me what you think about this particular bat for my son's use in games. ... Thank you!
Based on his size, a 31" model of the Easton Reflex: LX73 is recommended. The Easton Reflex: LX73 is a balanced bat that is a great option for younger players looking to either maintain, or improve their swing speed. At it's current price, the LX73 is a great deal.
What size bat do you recommend for my 8 year old? He is 55" and 65 lbs.
The Easton Reflex: LX73 Youth is a good option for an 8 year old. We recommend a 29" based on his size and age.
My son is 9 years old (10/1/03), he is 53" and 73 lbs. I'm thinking of getting him the 30" 17 oz. option. What do you suggest? He hits line drives with heavier bats but is late on them, pushing them to right field or the right side of the infield (right handed hitter).
A 29" bat length is recommended for a player his size for the Easton Reflex: LX73 Youth. With it being a -13 size he could very well use the 30" length because the bat will be so light.
