Pros:  This bat was hot right out of the wrapper. My 11 year old daughter has become more of a power hitter with this bat. Before this bat it was a single everytime, now she's always on third.. I would recommend this bat for the young ladies out there that need a little more pop in their swing.. Also I would like to add that the bat is slightly end loaded...

Cons:  Paint chips easily, but it doesn't effect the distance and pop one bit....

Pros:  This bat is amazing! I got it on the night of our first game and everybody used it! I have a 2010 Rocketech which is awesome and needed something just a little bit lighter and the Ignite is just what I needed! I am definately going to recommend it to others!!!

Pros:  Very nice bat. Out of the box it needs to be broken in but lots of pop.

Cons:  Only had it a few weeks so no cons at the moment.

What would be the correct bat length for my daughter? She is 12 years old and is 5'1". Also, how do you determine the weight?

Based on her age, I would probably suggest a 31" in the 2014 Easton FS3 Fastpitch Softball Bat: (FP14S3). As for the weight, this can be harder to determine. Generally, it depends on the player's strength, and what feels most comfortable to swing through.

How does this compare to the Easton Stealth Speed from 2012? I hate that Easton quit making that bat. No other bat seems to have the same pop that one did. My daughter uses the 31x21 Stealth Speed, but it has met its end by cracking. What is comparable and has the same feel?

The 2014 Easton FS3 Fastpitch Softball Bat (FP14S3) will not quite compare with the Easton Stealth Speed. The best choice to look for for closest comparison would be the Easton FS1 Fastpitch Softball Bat. It would have the same feel.

My daughter is 11 and she is 4'8" and about 73 lbs. She uses a DeMarini 31" 18 oz. She's the lead off hitter looking for a new bat. What would you recommend?

The 2014 Easton FS3 Fastpitch Softball Bat (FP14S3) features a balanced swing weight, so it would be a great option for her to work on bat speed and bat control. The one-piece design will also provide a stiffer feel on contact as well. Based on her height and weight, we recommend a 30" bat.

I bought an Ignite from Justbats.com last season and was disappointed with it. It had no pop and had a very 'tinny' sound when hitting. My daughter didn't like it and I replaced it with a bat pack of 2 Easton CV12: SCR1B also from Justbats.com that were AWESOME out of the box. Does the Ignite require a break-in? Is that why we didn't like it? It is sitting collecting dust and could be brought back to life. I was new to fastpitch and didn't know anything about break-in when we bought it.

No, the Anderson Ignite FP: IFP Fastpitch bat will not require any period of break-in.

Description for 2014 Easton FS3 Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP14S3
New for 2014! Last season, Easton's Power Brigade Series dominated the softball diamond. This season, the all new Power Brigade Series picks up right where the original Series left off so the concept of the Power Brigade remains the same: allow players to personalize their power. The fact is, that players draw power from different sources. Stronger players may want a bit more weight and endload to their bat, while smaller players want a little less weight and a balanced feel. Easton solves this problem by offering Power Brigade bats in two categories: The Speed Series and The XL Series. Speed Series bats (FS1, FS2, and FS3) are characterized by lighter length to weight ratios and balanced swing weights to produce faster swing speeds and more power as a result. XL Series bats (FX1 and FX2) are going to be a little heavier and have a endloaded feel, giving stronger players extra momentum through the zone and more power behind each swing. This bat, the FS3, is a one-piece fully composite design made from Easton's IMX Composite. If you're looking for extra swing speed this season, there's only one logical choice - the bat that's built for SPEED to give YOU more POWER! Easton: Personalize Your Power! The FS3 is approved for play in ASA, USSSA, NSA, ISA, and ISF. It is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

Description for Anderson Ignite FP Fastpitch Softball Bat: IFP
The new Anderson Ignite fastpitch bat features a complete redesign of Anderson's popular single wall alloy technology. The Ignite is designed to maximize Anderson's all-metal alloy, with a shape that optimizes the player's swing. This new alloy has a greater yield value and added strength that allows a lighter, more responsive, and larger Effective Hitting Area (EHA). Reducing the weight in the EHA, while maintaining the strength necessary to withstand impact, allows for greater design versatility including a significantly reduced Moment of Inertia (MOI). Optimizing the MOI makes it possible for players to swing the bat faster, with less effort. The Ignite is topped off with a TrueFlex End Cap that is designed to increase barrel strength and aid in vibration managment. Also helping eliminate annoying vibrations is the TaperFlex Contour which uses a proprietary combination of design mapping and wall-thickness tuning to prevent energy from escaping the barrel. Furthermore, an SG-I Sport Grip absorbs any stray shockwaves that might make it down to the ultra-thin whip handle. All of this technology is used to efficiently manage energy transfer and produce the most explosive hits for fastpitch players! Anderson: Manufactured With Pride in the U.S.A.! The Ignite is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!
