Performance for the Axe Elite BBCOR Baseball Bat (L130A) and the Axe Element BBCOR Baseball Bat (L137A) and really any BBCOR bats will have the same peak performance level. The difference would be the feel and the material used for construction. The Elite will have more flex for more whipping motion while the Element will be a bit more controlled.

The 2016 AXE Elite BBCOR Baseball Bat: L130D will have an improved alloy with the Mantic Alloy Barrel. This barrel helps promote more durability from the one-sided hitting that Axe bats utilize. The handle has been improved with the addition of the flex handle, creating great whip for bat speed. Lastly, the end cap on the new 2016 AXE Elite BBCOR Baseball Bat: L130D will be lightweight carbon composite giving this end cap more durability as well as helping balancing the bat more. These are the improvements that were made when comparing the 2016 AXE Elite BBCOR Baseball Bat: L130D to the older model, the Axe Elite BBCOR Baseball Bat: L130A.
