Description

If you've never heard of Axe's patented AXE handle, you're missing out. The revolutionary design is exactly what it sounds like. The handle of an AXE bat is designed like the handle of an actual axe to provide optimal control and grip of the bat. This asymmetrical handle is biomechanically engineered for a flush fit and assists in keeping a hitter on the correct swing plane. As a result, players get better barrel accuracy and a decreased risk of injury and hand fatigue. The AXE Avenge Slow Pitch bat features a two-piece composite design made from AXE's Plus Plus Reinforced Composite. Plus Plus Composite provides maximum allowable performance and outstanding durability. Durability is achieved through the use of a "C" shaped insert on the hitting side of the barrel that is designed for maximum strength, especially for one-sided hitting. The AXE Avenge features a LONGBarrel Design that allows for a larger hitting surface and maximum sweetspot size. Axe takes pride in creating evenly balanced bats so players can get the most out of each and every swing. With faster swing speeds, maximum performance, and outstanding durability, there is no reason not to give the new AXE Avenge a shot! AXE: More Power. More Solid Contact! The Avenge is approved for play in ASA only and It is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

I have a Championship women's team in Baltimore and would like to know if this bat can make line drive hitters into HR hitters? LADYSTORM SOFTBALL
The 2014 Axe Avenge ASA Slow Pitch Softball Bat (L155A) will not be able to turn a line drive hitter into a home run hitter on its own. A line drive hitter will have to make some changes to their swing in order to start getting balls out of the park. All Axe Bats are unique due to their handle design which only allows players to hit on one side of the bat. They construct their bats with unique barrel technology to withstand the continued use on the one side. This Avenge will have a longer barrel design that will be created to help slow pitch players increase their power.

About the Brand

Launched by Baden Sports in 2011, the Axe line of bats was hailed as a breakthrough in bat technology by players and coaches from youth leagues to the Pros. The makers of the Axe line of bats often pose the question, "What does your traditional knob do for you?" Most players don't have a good answer. Axe engineers have created a handle that is not only more comfortable and safer in terms of hand injuries, but also helps improve the hitter's swing by keeping them on an even plane. Although Axe is new to the market, they are backed by Baden Sports, Inc., an independent, family-owned company that has been making baseball products since 1979. Their passion to create a better game is unparalleled, making it no surprise that the Axe handle is set to be baseball's next big thing.
