Pros:
Great pop. Bat is very balanced. Looks great. Son has hit 2 home runs with it.
Cons:
The barrel in really short. Sweet spot not as big as other bats in this category.

Pros:
The thin barrel tapering to a slender handle makes for a sensible, easy to swing design. Some aluminum bats have too loud of a sound. At impact this one has a pleasing, muted sound. High quality, made in the USA product here. Buy it!

Which is a better bat for an 11 year old power hitter, the Anderson Ignite Senior League or the Marucci Team Senior League?

Since both the Anderson Ignite Senior League and the Marucci Team Senior League are very similar, they are both very light weight and balanced bats. I would purchase the Marucci Team, ithas the new AZ3000 Aerospace alloy which is ultimately designed more for a power hitter.

Is this bat a direct replacement for the KXR or is it just the closest? No more KXR -8? Any plans for a senior league Nanotek -8? thank you!

The Anderson Ignite did not replace the KXR. Unfortunately, we are sold out of the KXR -8 and will not be getting any more in stock. We have not received the specs from Anderson's upcoming line, but I do not believe they have plans to release a new KXR.

Does this ignite 2 5/8 bat have as much pop as the Nanotek? is a minus 10 Nanotek in the making for 2012? Thank you

The Nanotek will perform just a little better than the Ignite based on customer feedback. However, the Iginite is a great performing bat in the $200 price range. There will not be a -10 Senior league Nanotek this year.

The Ignite is designed to maximize Anderson's all-metal alloy, with a shape that optimizes the player's swing.
