Description
Marucci baseball bats continue to be swung by players at all levels of the game, and for good reason. The F5 series is ready to take the nation by storm. When Marucci released the famous CAT series, they named it after hurricane categories due to the sheer strength of their AZ4X aluminum alloy. Now, Marucci has stuck with the weather references and named this model after another one of nature's most violent storms: an F5 tornado. They did so because of the F5 baseball bats ability to wreak havoc on a field. As a one-piece aluminum alloy construction, this model delivers a traditional, consistent feel with a balanced swing weight for better control through the zone. Inside of the barrel, Marucci utilizes a multi-variable wall design that creates a massive sweet spot with unprecedented durability. They have also applied their proven Ring-free barrel technology that maximizes performance at the plate while guaranteeing zero dead spots. On the other end, a custom micro-perforated soft touch grip decreases negative impact feedback and increases overall comfort. Marucci: Honor The Game!
This Marucci F5 BBCOR Baseball Bat (MCBF5) features a 2 5/8-inch barrel diameter, a drop 3 length to weight ratio, and the BBCOR certification for high school and collegiate approval. Right price Adam parent
Pros: Got my son the F5 BBCOR as he's transitioning and loves his 30" Cat7 -8. Have yet to be disappointed with Marucci. Excellent price for a 13 year old who may outgrow his 31" before the spring!
Cons: Compared to the Cat7 -8, the pop and sound are a little different. Could just be the BBCOR though.
Excellent Scott Shelby player
Pros: I was really looking for an entry level bbcor bat for my 14 yr old, Thinking that he wasn't quite ready for a 33/30 and needed a little time with a 31/28 before making the jump. He could not be more pleased with our selection, a lot of pop, great feel, certainly we could have spent a lot more but no way we would have been more pleased!
Cons: Absolutely none!!
F5 stone player
Pros: there bats are consistently great bats they have plenty of pop and have a much more honest sweetspot and reminds me of hitting with a wood bat more than metal
Cons: the grip will tear quickly

Great Bat for the Price GoodSyntax Parent
Pros: Low Cost Great Pop (when barreled up) Well Balanced (slight end-load) Loud Ping There honestly isn't any other bats as good at this price point. Incredible power on the sweet spot. This is effectively a CAT 7 without the ring free knob. There are very few one piece bats featuring variable wall thickness - Marucci CAT 7, Rawlings Velo, Mizuno Generations and Axe Hyperwhip are the only other options that I'm aware of. This is important because it helps to reduce the weight of the barrel (to improve balance) and improves the trampoline effect just off the sweet spot. The result is a more balanced swing versus similar size/weight alloy bats. When you square one up with this bat, the loud ping let's everyone know it. It has a loud, long resonance that gives good, positive feedback to the batter. Another huge plus is Marucci customer service, they've always treated me like a valued customer and are very generous with their warranty policies.
Cons: Hand Ring Small Barrel Loud Ping As a single piece alloy without the special knob, there is nothing to prevent hand ring on mishits. Some like the honest feedback, but no one actually likes the sting shooting up your arm when you hit one off the end of the bat. Second, the barrel is pretty small compared to the current crop of boat oars that are out right now. Many bats (Beast/Ghost, Project 3, CF Zen, Quatro, every Combat ever made) all feature huge barrels, and the F5 isn't anywhere even close. The F5, like the Cat 7/8 feature smaller barrels, similar to the Slugger 5xx, 6xx and 7xx bats. During tee work, or soft toss, the loud ping does tend to get annoying. Not necessarily a deal-breaker, but if you're hitting into a net in the basement/garage, the sound will get tiresome after a while.

Cons: Noisy
Wouldn't reccomend Axel Player
Pros: + The price is good + Very Durable and has very little vibration
Cons: - The pop, for me, isn't good at all - The bat just isn't that satisfying to hit with

Good transition bat. Christopher Dias Parent
Pros: This bat is being used for the transition to bbcor from a drop 5. My son went from and endloaded drop 5 to this bat as it is a balanced feel and easier to swing with the heavier weight. It hits very well when barreled up and has a distinct ping. It has made the transition very simple thus far.
Cons: The only drawback is going from a two piece to a solid aluminum is that there is a little more feedback to the hands when hit off center. Also, for a younger kid making the switch, the handle is a little thicker and not as advantageous to small hands.
Dinger nation Gary Player
Pros: I hit dinger w it
Cons: Nothing
Carter Dobbs Player
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Every thing about the bat
