great bat ! except the 28" version 1badimport parent

Pros: so for a 1pc aluminum bat it has a nice sweet spot good pop except for the 28"bats.they hit like a wet rag im not sure what happened here but the 29 and 30" we have are fire .The 28 doesnt seem to have a sweet spot or any pop.

Cons: it swings a little heavy has a little sting on miss hits .The 28" version is terrible .

Pros: My son really likes the feel. feels like it has great control through the zone. USA bats seem to have a heavy feel to them. He is a big, strong 9 almost 10 year old that swung a 30/20 mako X last year while hitting for average and power. This year he is swinging a 29/19 beast X. He really feels more power in the one piece aluminum. this makes sense as every effort to isolate your hand from zingers has to be absorbing energy even on squared up balls.

Cons: having to re-orient expectations on what power will look like this season.

Pros: Easy balanced feel and provides the same pop (maybe a touch more according to my son) as the Ghost X. Don't spend the money on the Ghost X thinking some excessive break in time is going to produce more. Alloy will provide great results, especially with stronger kids.

Cons: The grip tape is horrible. Replace it with nice, thick Lizard Skin or Vulcan grip. The handle in all drops is made for small hand kids. Wrap athletic tape and combine Lizard Skin to accommodate your kid's hand size. Will also alleviate any sting.

Pros: For a decent 7 1/2 yo batter there was not a noticable drop in bat performance from his USSSA to this USA bat. At that age a hit is a hit! No complaints of felt vibration after 200-300 batted balls.

Cons: first of all I'm going to say that just bats customer service is outstanding. the customer service issue I have is with Easton themselves. the end of my son's bat exploded . I sent the bat back with a receipt and stating that I have not on the back for more than a year. they sent me back the bat today stating that I needed to have all the parts with the bat and would not warranty their product. so with that being said that will be the last Easton bat I will ever purchase. I am also a little league coach of two teams and have instructed my parents on the bad customer service at Easton is tried to offer. so good job Easton. a $200 bat has now cost you thousands. you keep up that business model new not going to last too much longer.

Pros: Easy to swing.

Cons: This bat has no pop. We have a kid on the team that hit bombs with a USSSA bat. To the fence almost every at bat. He got this bat, and now has to put a huge swing on it to even get it to the outfield. This bat is fine for contact hitters but it sure isn't for a power hitter.

Cons: this bat has a lot of vibration if you don't hit the barrel. Good players crush the ball, so I don't recommend it for players 7 and under. Very good hitting 9 year olds and older will love it.

Cons: All USA stamped bats are garbage but I really regret buying this one. My son hated it from the start so I bought a Rawlings 5150 for about half the price and it definitely has a lot more pop the the Easton but still less then real baseball bats. The Beast X got brought out a couple of times for BP and practices trying to find something good about it but in no time the bat developed a rattle and there is something loose bouncing around inside the bat. It didn't last 200 swings. Boooooo !

Pros: Watched the Cal Ripken team that will be representing the Northwest at the 12u World Series, and the power hitters on this team used this bat. They performed very well with it, with a number of balls going 260' +. To the complaining dads: It's a joke when a small kid with a usssa bat puts a check swing on a ball, and it goes to the fence. It's a joke when all over youtube you can watch kids with a usssa bat stalling at contact, because they're too weak to hit through the ball, and the ball trampolines off for a home run. Well guess what, it takes a solid swing to hit one out with a realistic bat, and when one reads the bpf 1.15 certification process, they realize that reality is nowhere near a usssa bat.

Cons: My son used this bat in practice. He loved the USSSA version so tried the USA version. The ball was just dead on this bat. His Rawlings 5150 USA was far far better. His wood bat was much better. I took about 10 swings off the tee and he is correct, it’s a terrible bat. Turns out there is a stiff ring in there to make it conform to USA bat compression. Instead of re engineering the bat it looks like they added a kludge. He loves his Easton USSSA bats. This one is truly a dud. Glad I paid very little on closout.

Pros: I bought this bat in 2018, none of the other bats have the pop or durability that this one does. I feel it slipped through the cracks as it strongly compares to a USSSA bat. I have other USA bats but this one is still the primary choice and is in great shape! Definitely worth the $200 I spent initially!

Pros: 9 year old complained of vibrations after his first swings. I double wrapped the grip with a 1.8mm lizard skin and he liked the feel better then. Also, took an at bat with it in a game… only once. He loveshis ADV!!

Cons: That’s what my 7 year old said after his first batting practice swings with this bat. He didn’t want to use it anymore after that. Kids now a days have gotten spoiled with all the tech on the composite bats.
