Just in Austin Kuhl player

Pros: Just received my quatro in the mail today, (I sent back a Miken Freak Black, and they sent me this bat). Overall it is a very nice looking bat, but it feels a little heavier than the said 24 ounces. Will update once I get out and use it

Hot out the wrapper Monica parent

Pros: bought for my 15yo yesterday it is hot out of the wrapper. She tried other bats at our local softball store (cf8 cf9 DeMarini lxt xenon Louisville )and this was her favorite. The store has a cage so she was able to try out each bat. This bat gave her the most pop and accuracy (she is a power hitter). really excited to see her play with this.

Cons: none that i know of

Nice Bat! RL parent

Pros: We received this bat on a warranty exchange for the worth 2 legit. Both of my daughters loved the worth 2 legit. We were not sure about this bat at first. My daughter wanted to keep and and try it and ended up loving it. It doesnt have as much pop out the wrapper as the worth 2 legit did but it had enough and feels like it is getting better with more hits. one positive is that it feels alot stronger than the worth 2 legit. Dont know how many of those we broke but atleast 3. this is a solid bat.

Cons: ? not sure yet

Not a bad bat Ashley player

Pros: I had received this bat as a replacement for my two Worth Legit 2s that I broke last spring. Overall the durability on this bat is very solid, the connection where the barrel and the handle meet is definitely a major step up from the connections on any other bats. Although the pop isn't as great, the durability seems to be there with the same consistency for the past year. The white color is very sharp as well.

Cons: Doesn't seem to have as much pop even after what people would call "breaking it in" with tee work and soft toss.

So far, AWESOME!!! Brian parent

Pros: My daughter switched to this bat when her Demarini CF8 broke in half. I was amazed at the instant improvement to her hitting. She started crushing the ball with this bat. I had no idea a different bat could make this much of a difference. So glad her old one broke!

Cons: None yet.

Is the bat balanced or end-loaded? Charlie

Although Rawlings and Worth are both operated under the company Jarden Sports, it would be hard to say that this 2017 Rawlings Quatro Fastpitch Softball Bat (FP7Q10) is the exact replacement for the Worth 2 Legit that has been made in the past. Both this Quatro and the 2 Legit were all-composite bats, but you'll notice that the features displayed on the bats are different.
Ben

The 2017 Rawlings Quatro Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP7Q10 features a two-piece, fully composite construction.
Sean

I have noticed that Worth will no longer be selling fastpitch bats. How does this Rawlings Quatro compare to the Worth 2 Legit of the past? scott
The initial performance reviews for this 2017 Rawlings Quatro Fastpitch Softball Bat (FP7Q10) have been very impressive just like the performance reviews of the 2 Legits from the past. Also, both bats will feature the similar two-piece, all-composite design to them. However, since the Quatro is still very new, it will be hard to say whether the Quatro will display better durability than the 2 Legits.
Ben

I have a 13 yr old daughter that has been swinging a CF5 for 2 years and a Mako for 1 year. We are looking for something new. This bat has some wonderful reviews. Would you take a chance on this bat if you were purchasing for your daughter? G Mama
Rawlings makes a good product and the 2017 Rawlings Quatro Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP7Q10 would be a great bat to consider if you prefer a two-piece fully composite bat with a balanced swing weight. This bat would stack up favorably with the previous composite bats the player has used previously.
Cameron
My daughter is 9 years old she has been swinging a DeMarini Cf8 30/19 -11. Is this bat much of a different weight if i was to get a 30/20 -10 Rawlings Quatro for her or do you think it is to heavy for her? softballdad
I do not think that this is too much of a difference of weight and would recommend the 30"/20 ounce 2017 Rawlings Quatro Fastpitch Softball Bat (FP7Q10) for her.
Carter
Just recently bought a COMBAT MAXUM 2 piece and after a couple hits it broke. Do you know the durability of this bat although it is new? kdub
We have not heard issues concerning the durability of the 2017 Rawlings Quatro Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP7Q10. Like any other bat though, it is tough to say how long any one particular bat may last before experiencing durability issues.
Cameron
Is the barrel of this bat single or double wall construction? How does it compare to the DeMarini CF9 and Louisville LXT Hyper? bg
The 2017 Rawlings Quatro Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP7Q10 has a double wall construction. This bat will be similar to the CF9 and LXT in that all three bats are fully composite, with balanced swing weights and feature a two-piece design.

About the Brand

Rawlings is a major manufacturer of competitive team sports equipment and apparel for baseball, basketball, and football, as well as licensed MLB, NFL, and NCAA retail products. Rawlings is a major supplier to professional, collegiate, interscholastic, and amateur organizations worldwide, including the Official Baseball Supplier to Major League Baseball.

The first real innovation in glove making occurred in 1912 when Rawlings Sporting Goods Company introduced the "Sure Catch" glove, which was "endorsed by leading players all over the country." The Sure Catch was a one-piece glove with sewn-in finger channels and looked better suited for a duck's foot than a man's hand. Catchers' mitts used at the time were large and bulky with a single leather thong passing for a web.

In 1920, Bill Doak, a journeyman pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals, approached Rawlings with an idea for improving the baseball glove from a mere protective device to a genuine aid in fielding. The "Bill Doak" model was so revolutionary that it stayed in Rawlings' line until 1953. Its key feature was a multi-thong web laced into the first finger and thumb, which created for the first time in baseball's young life, a natural pocket.

In 1925, Rawlings unveiled a three-fingered fielder's glove, and ten years later improved the Bill Doak model with a two-piece leather web. At the same time, the "T" web became a rage for first basemen's mitts. The pocket underwent a pronounced change in 1941 when the Trapper Mitt, also known as the Claw, appeared. The "Deep Well" pocket was so unique that Rawlings quickly patented it. The design was improved in 1950 by adding a leather piece across the top. Another significant creation occurred in 1948 with the three-fingered Playmaker. A five-fingered fielder's model, with all fingers laced together, provided greater pocket control.

The six-fingered Trap-Eze evolved in the 1960's. In more recent years, Rawlings produced the Fastback design, which gives a glove a snugger fit, greater extension, and overall control. The Holdster is a slot through which a finger can be extended for additional protection from impacts on the pocket. Then, there is the Edge-U-Cated Heel with its extended U-shaped lacing and the Pro H Web and much-copied Basket Web.

Some of Rawlings's more recent glove innovations also include the unique Spin-Stopper design which reduces ball spin when the ball hits the glove, and the Cantilever glove design feature that provides a cushioned area between the hand and the glove's palm area. In all, Rawlings has produced and patented more functionally innovative glove features and designs than that of any other glove manufacturer. The result is that the modern baseball glove is much larger, more comfortable, better padded, and made to last far longer than its ancestors. It is not uncommon to see today's Major League players wearing the same Rawlings glove they wore during their college playing days. In fact, Rawlings is the #1 glove in the major leagues. Rawlings maintains about 65 models of baseball and softball mitts and gloves in its line. The prototypes of virtually all of them have been field-tested by professionals before entering a sporting goods dealer's inventory.
