Great Bat Julio player
Pros: Balanced swing weight, great grip, insane pop, hot out of the wrapper. I have swung the cat 6, demarini voodoo, and all of the Louisville slugger bats and I have to say that this is better than all of them.
Cons: None so far.
great bat Jacob Gwynne player
Pros: I have been swinging the 5150 for years, but the last few models I have been dissapointed with. This bat has not dissapointed. Its a generally balanced bat with great pop. Feels more like the old 5150 modles which I love. Great bat for a great price.
Cons: More top heavy than recent models, but like I said it's more like the old model and I love that
Good as expected B player
Pros: Bat is as good as you would expect from a 5150
Cons: a little more end weighted than previous models

My bat broke after 20 days of use. Trey player
Pros: The bat has a very nice balanced feel to it. The grip is very nice, your hands will not slip one bit. The bat has great pop and it sounds amazing.
Cons: The end cap cracked after only using it for 20 days.
bat of the year dawson player
Pros: this bat is probably the best all around bat of the year I've swung Easton all my life but this year I've started started swinging Rawlings because i'm a freshmen in high school and i have to swing bbcor. I've always heard great things about rawlings bbcor bats but this model blew me away. it has insane pop and is extremely balanced great for the transition into high school swings like a -5. highly suggest this bat
Cons: small amount of vibration off handle
amazing alex player
Pros: amazing pop, overall just a great bat
Cons: no cons at all
Good Mikal player
Pros: great grip and great pop great feel
Cons: not a big fan of the end loaded model
Son loves this bat!!!!! Bill parent
Pros: Great pop Bat grip Appearence Sweet spot
Cons: Slightly top heavy
decent bat Dakota player
Pros: feels good and has good pop
Cons: i used this bat for 2 games and i cracked the end cap of the bat off, so i sent it back and got a new one. after 2 weeks of having the new one i cracked the end cap again
5150 is back! I hit tanks player
Pros: Back to the "old" design without composite end cap. Love the feel of this bat. Slight end load helps with the power. The bat is balanced but has just a touch of end load. The grip is surprisingly good. BBCOR std makes all the bats the same so its just about how the bat feels to you. I hate 2 piece so this bat for me is perfect. This bat goes yard just as easily as the $400 bats.
Cons: Slightly thick grip/handle. I'm not a fan of flared handles but this one is small, especially compared to my Cat6. Its not really a con but this bat is LOUD. Inside the cages the ping is almost deafening.
Not great Jake Lewis player
Pros: Has a nice balanced feel to it and looks nice
Cons: Vibration is very bad for an aluminum bat compared to my LS 516 and pop isn't great. Heard people talk about the pop on this bat; just because it is loud doesn't mean the ball flies off faster. I am a high-school senior with an exit velocity of 90-92 of a tee. I really had to try to hit balls out with this bat. After around 3 weeks of hitting, I hit a ball of the end and the end cap separated a little from the barrel causing extreme vibration on every ball I hit. Returned it for another LS omaha. First Rawlings and now I know never to leave Louisville Slugger for Aluminum bats.
very bad coach manuel Coach
Pros: breaks easily, feels very bad, no dinger, lot of ring.
Cons: too much pop

About the Brand
Rawlings is a major manufacturer of competitive team sports equipment and apparel for baseball, basketball, and football, as well as licensed MLB, NFL, and NCAA retail products. Rawlings is a major supplier to professional, collegiate, interscholastic, and amateur organizations worldwide, including the Official Baseball Supplier to Major League Baseball.
The first real innovation in glove making occurred in 1912 when Rawlings Sporting Goods Company introduced the "Sure Catch" glove, which was "endorsed by leading players all over the country." The Sure Catch was a one-piece glove with sewn-in finger channels and looked better suited for a duck's foot than a man's hand. Catchers' mitts used at the time were large and bulky with a single leather thong passing for a web.
In 1920, Bill Doak, a journeyman pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals, approached Rawlings with an idea for improving the baseball glove from a mere protective device to a genuine aid in fielding. The "Bill Doak" model was so revolutionary that it stayed in Rawlings' line until 1953. Its key feature was a multi-thong web laced into the first finger and thumb, which created for the first time in baseball's young life, a natural pocket.
In 1925, Rawlings unveiled a three-fingered fielder's glove, and ten years later improved the Bill Doak model with a two-piece leather web. At the same time, the "T" web became a rage for first basemen's mitts. The pocket underwent a pronounced change in 1941 when the Trapper Mitt, also known as the Claw, appeared. The "Deep Well" pocket was so unique that Rawlings quickly patented it. The design was improved in 1950 by adding a leather piece across the top. Another significant creation occurred in 1948 with the three-fingered Playmaker. A five-fingered fielder's model, with all fingers laced together, provided greater pocket control.
The six-fingered Trap-Eze evolved in the 1960's. In more recent years, Rawlings produced the Fastback design, which gives a glove a snugger fit, greater extension, and overall control. The Holdster is a slot through which a finger can be extended for additional protection from impacts on the pocket. Then, there is the Edge-U-Cated Heel with its extended U-shaped lacing and the Pro H Web and much-copied Basket Web.
Some of Rawlings's more recent glove innovations also include the unique Spin-Stopper design which reduces ball spin when the ball hits the glove, and the Cantilever glove design feature that provides a cushioned area between the hand and the glove's palm area. In all, Rawlings has produced and patented more functionally innovative glove features and designs than that of any other glove manufacturer. The result is that the modern baseball glove is much larger, more comfortable, better padded, and made to last far longer than its ancestors. It is not uncommon to see today's Major League players wearing the same Rawlings glove they wore during their college playing days. In fact, Rawlings is the #1 glove in the major leagues. Rawlings maintains about 65 models of baseball and softball mitts and gloves in its line. The prototypes of virtually all of them have been field-tested by professionals before entering a sporting goods dealer's inventory.
