What set apart the 2017 Miken PSYCHO SuperMax USSSA Slow Pitch Softball Bat: SYKDTE from some of the other Miken NSA bats on the site is the full ounce end load. This bat will feature a lot of the same technology as previous Miken bats with the Flex 2 Power Technology, Certified 100 COMP and Triple Matrix Core.

If I have to choose a bat what would you recommend: (2017 Miken Psycho SuperMax [SYKDTE], DC-41 SuperMax [DENCMU] or Louisville Slugger Super Z End Load USSSA [WTLSZU16E])? avradrb
This 2017 Miken PSYCHO SuperMax USSSA Slow Pitch Softball Bat (SYKDTE) and the DC-41 (DENCMU) will be pretty similar bats from the same manufacturer. Both have a two-piece, all-composite design and 1 oz end-load. As well, both bats are rated very well from JustBats.com customers. I would have a hard time saying that one of the two specific bats is the absolute option with which to go. However, for the Super Z, it does not have any reviews at JustBats (even though it has the same two-piece, all-composite build with an end-load). Because of that, it would be hard to say to go with that bat over either of the previously mentioned Miken bats.

I'm looking for a good replacement for a Reebok Melee Senior Bat. I'm told that the bat must have the 1.21 BPF stamped on the bat to be "acceptable" in our league. Does this bat (or any others you could suggest as a good replacement for my Reebok Melee) have this 1.21 BPF stamped on the barrel? Denny
The 2017 Miken PSYCHO SuperMax USSSA Slow Pitch Softball Bat (SYKDTE) is not going to have the BPF 1.21 Certified stamp on it. I would recommend checking out the Miken Ultra II Senior Slow Pitch Softball Bat (MSU2). It will have the stamp you are looking for and is a good replacement for the Reebok Melee.

The 2017 Miken PSYCHO SuperMax USSSA Slow Pitch Softball Bat: SYKDTE has roughly a 13 inch barrel length. The 2016 Miken Freak Patriot Maxload USSSA Slow Pitch Softball Bat: FPATMU will have a slightly longer barrel as well as new S3R composite technology - microscopic spheres in the barrel coating increase the hitting surface & ability to cut / spin the ball for more distance. Both are great bats with a slight advantage going to the 2016 Miken Freak Patriot Maxload USSSA Slow Pitch Softball Bat: FPATMU.

This 2017 Miken PSYCHO SuperMax USSSA Slow Pitch Softball Bat (SYKDTE) does feature a 12 month manufacturer's warranty period, but I do not believe that the warranty covers the bat being mis-placed or stolen from the original purchaser. The 2017 Miken PSYCHO Maxload USSSA Slow Pitch Softball Bat: (MPSY2U) and the 2017 Miken PSYCHO SuperMax USSSA Slow Pitch Softball Bat (SYKDTE) are going to be pretty similar. They are both Two-Piece fully composite designs. The main difference is that the SYKDTE is going to feature a SuperMax End Load, with a full ounce end load and the MPSY2U is going to feature an 0.5 Ounce End Load and it is a part of the Miken Signature series.

Overall, I think that you would be just fine getting an option of this 2017 Miken PSYCHO SuperMax USSSA Slow Pitch Softball Bat (SYKDTE) for use as it has received great reviews so far from customers. I would just make sure that you are comfortable using the full 1 ounce end-load that this bat features. That being said, if you have used the balanced Patriot in the past and want to try the
2016 Miken Freak Patriot Maxload USSSA Slow Pitch Softball Bat (FPATMU), it is definitely one to consider as it is an awesome bat as well and features a little lighter end-load to it (when compared to this Psycho).
