This Marucci CAT 7 Connect BBCOR Baseball Bat: MCBCC7 is a two-piece, hybrid design that features a carbon composite handle with the new AZ4X alloy barrel. Marucci's AZ4X alloy barrel offers increased strength and durability with a much higher response rate. Pros: My son went from the demarini cf8 -5 to the connect cat-7 connect BBCOR this year. Very smooth transition. Well balance lots of pop. 13 year old still able to hit a HOMERUN on a junior college field. Thanks marucci for making great bats
Cons: The connect felt a little more end loaded than previous cat6. Not much of a con because he preferred this!!
Great Bat!! Dawson Huckabay player
Pros: This bat has a lot of pop. Allows you to drive the ball all over the field and also for big power guys to drive out of the park! It feels really good in your hands. I like to control my bat and I can do so with this bat. No vibration and sounds good off the bat!! Also it looks sweet
Cons: No cons
Great bat with TONS of power!!! John M parent
Pros: Just picked up this bat yesterday for my 14 yr old son...big power hitter and previously used Rip-It Helium. He has been using Rip-It bats for years...found a new love in Marucci. Bat is weighted perfectly for power hitters. Tons of power and pop off the bat right out of the box. Just from using it one day he said he is never going back to another bat...Marucci lover for life now.
Cons: Stock grip was a little too thin in his hands...had to have Lizard Skin installed for a better feel. Aside from that, no other issues with the bat.
Best BBCOR I've swung Shane Baz player

Cons: None
Sick bat Nick Storz player
Pros: I swung this bat during the area code home run derby and it was sick, the bat had serious pop and was well balanced. Really enjoyed swinging this bat !
Cons: None
Cat 7 Joe Perez player
Pros: Used it in the Homerun derby. Came off very hard off the bat for never being used or broken in. Almost felt as if it wasn't BBCOR.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Swung it in the AC HR Derby last night. Great end loaded. If you want to hit bombs you want to use this bat. Lots of pop and very loud.

Great Bat!!!! Eddie Chitwood parent
Pros: I purchased this bat for my son to replace his Louisville Slugger 716 hybrid bat. He is 15 and a solid base hitter. I was very sceptical about the bat since this was the first "two piece" bat from Maruccci. I did tons of research and made alot of phone calls before I made the purchase. I have NO REGRETS on buying this bat. This bat is hot right out of the box. My son quickly adjusted to it and started pounding the baseball. He loves this bat! The only negative he had was the grip. He likes a fat, "squishy" grip. So we replaced the factory grip with a 1.8mm Lizardskin grip. Every player wants to use his bat because it's so hot. No vibration at all. Great job Maruccci!
Cons: The players say the "ping" from the bat is ear piercing! But who cares when you're hitting doubles and collecting RBIs.
Awesome bat Bonnie parent
Pros: Super durable nice feel once I got it for my son he started hitting home runs and he never complained about it hurting his hands
Cons: None
Ok bat Connor Nielsen player
Pros: This is a nice bat with absolutely no sting and great durability will last a long time
Cons: The pop is just plain out bad and the grip is to soft its horrible I would prefer the Rawlings Qautro or the Demarini or CF Zen
Not Happy Mark Dobell parent
Pros: Ball comes off the bat like a rocket
Cons: after 3 weeks of legion ball for my 16 year old got a crack by the cap about 1/2 inch long.
cat 7 Carter Claybar player
Pros: great decals balenced feel
Cons: i am a marucci guy i love marucci but this bat had a differnt feek as a two peice not the same as the cat 6 one piece the cat 7 one peice is a better bet wouldnt waste my money on a two peice the cat 7 one peice is a better bat
Nothing better Big Poppa parent
Pros: Bought this for my 15 year old son. Finally had the chance to use it and he hit 2 HR's in 8 at bats. Cleared 330' easy. Those are his first homers in his young career. Always been a contact hitter. This bat has tremendous pop. Easy to swing. He swings the 33" 30 oz.
Cons: None what so ever
Awesome Bat! Anthony parent
Pros: Bought this bat for my son to use this past season for M.S. baseball team. He says it was amazing, easily the best BBCOR bat he has ever swung. The bat has a lot of pop and feels good to swing. Allowed him to hit solid line drives to all parts of the field. Minimal vibration.
Cons: None
great bat kwapatron player
Pros: not super end loaded but just perfect. good pop as well
Cons: nothing
Don't be fooled by high price. Andy parent
Pros: Non
Cons: The bat is dead. Should have bought single piece bat. Not worth the extra money at all. Spoke to another guy that purchased same bay and had similar results. You may get a hot one but I know of 2 that are duds. The only 2 I've seen. I know what I'm talking about. Save your money.
Great Bat Kenneth Bone player
Pros: It's a great bat with a good amount of pop. I swing the 34 and love it, although the pop has gone down after a year or so of consistent use. I would definitely recommend this bat.
Cons: Pop goes down with time, which is kind of expected. Also, the stock grip falls apart so I replaced mine with vulcan tape.
Best BBCORE on the market aaron bently player
Pros: Best pop ive ever had on a bat this is good i used it for summer ball and i will use it my freshman year
Cons: Everyone wants to use it LOL
Cat7 connect ExposDad13 parent
Pros: Great bat but wouldnt expect anything less from Marucci. Seems a little more end loaded than the one piece but that was expected when purchased. Good pop for BBCOR. Love that ping! It's loud and we love it!
Cons: not a one!
Great But... Jack player
Pros: This bat has A TON OF POP. It has a slightly end-loaded feel. I've hit multiple over the fence home runs in games. This bat has no sting or vibration when hitting.
Cons: The white paint scratches easily and gets dirty easily. The grip has an odd feeling (Replaced mine with lizard skin). When a ball is hit, the bat has an ear-piercing ping.
Great Bat Ayden Ramos player
Pros: Great Pop and feels great through the zone the Connect allows for the reduction of vibration which I absolutely lovvvveeee.
Cons: The rubber piece in the middle tore pretty quick which is annoying doesn't affect the feel and pop of the bat.
Wow Myles Savery parent
Pros: My 14 year old son tried his brother's 34 inch bat for one game. His first time up he hit a homerun off the roof of the rest rooms 350 feet away. great pop and balance.
Cons: none
Not as good as I expected Will Player
Pros: Not much good stuff to say
Cons: The bat is very top-heavy which I don't like. Also, for the longest time Ive been wondering why I havent been hitting the ball as far as I knew I could, but then I started trying out a few of my teammates bats and now Im hitting bombs. This bat just has surprisingly little pop compared to the other bats I tried; like the Easton Mako Beast, and Louisville Select 719.
disappointing Alexi Weinberg Player
Pros: sting reduction is excellent. This bat is good for pure power hitters who are used to end-loaded bats.
Cons: I was very excited when Marucci finally came out with a two piece bat, but the Marucci Cat7 Connect is way too end loaded/top heavy. Messes up my barrel angle and has relatively low pop, which quickly decreased over time. I'd recommend the Easton Ghost X as an alternative, or the CF Zen
Awesome Bat Caleb Player
Pros: The feel and pop from the bat is incredible. The bat is balanced perfect and looks great.
Cons: None
It’s a bat Tony Player
Pros: Vibration dampening works really well. The ball will carry really far if you make solid contact.
Cons: The bat feels like it doesn’t have as much pop as other bats I’ve hit with. Even when you make good contact you don’t feel like you hit the ball well.
Best bat out there Judd Peterman Parent
Pros: Sweet spot huge my son is batting 600 as a freshman with it on varsity with 7 dingers
Cons: None
Cat 7 Colin Parent
Pros: Well balanced and great feel. My son loves it, but more importantly, has confidence with it entering batters box.
Cons: Nothing negative other than its bbcor!
As Advertised!!! Reggie Coach
Pros: My son was getting to strong for his balanced 31" BBCOR bat but was not ready to move to a 32" BBCOR. The end loading of this bat was the perfect next step for him. His offensive numbers increased 2X and he has been on fire! Great Feel and Pop with little to no vibration!!
Cons: None for us!
Cat 7 Casey Parent
Pros: Seems to have good pop.
Cons: More top heavy than previously owned cat 7. Handle is a different size than last cat 7.
Great bat ChrisK Parent
Pros: Got this for my son to use this past season (spring/summer 2019); he played on his HS freshman team and Babe Ruth (spring and summer travel). Had a much better year than last year when he used a different bat, which ironically was more expensive. He knew about this bat from a teammate the year before, so we got it for him for Christmas. Batted cleanup for FR.
Cons: Had to replace the wrapping after a few months; not a huge deal.

I need to know in your opinion which of the two Cat 7's in a BBCOR would best suit my 14 yr old who is a 160 pound, 5'11" power hitter. His average Homerun with an Easton MAKO XL is about 345 feet.
