U14 & U12 Mike coach

Pros: Purchased a "Bat Pak" so the price was great basically 2 bats for price of one at local sporting goods store. Both girls U14 player who's 5'4" weighing 122 slim "model" build struggles a little with the weight and U12 player 5'1" weighing 105 more "athletic" build both do love the bat. It's hot right out of the wrapper. I've used it at practice and have to pull a little off my swings because the ball jumps off the bat. My U12 player crushed a few to deep outfield which her other bat didn't allow.

Cons: None to mention because we've only had about 2-3 weeks. Durability is checks as 3 star because system wont process without and I cant make an honest answer due to such short period owning the bat.

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Easton Stealth Flex -11 Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP17SF11? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

Would this bat be good for an 11 year old slapper? She is 4'8" and 85 pounds. Stan Dillon
The 2017 Easton Stealth Flex -11 Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP17SF11 is a very suitable bat for a slapper as it has a balanced swing weight and a light feel with its -11 length to weight ratio. For your daughter's height and weight, we recommend a 30" bat length. This particular model in that length will weigh 19 ounces.
Angelique
My daughter is 13 about 5.5 tall weight around 115 to 120 lbs. She likes a well balanced bat, would you recommend this bat in about 33 in? Blue
Based on her height and weight we would recommend a 32" version of this 2017 Easton Stealth Flex -11 Fastpitch Softball Bat (FP17SF11). But you can definitely go up to the 33" version if you felt that she could handle the extra ounce.
Carter
My daughter is 15, 5'3" and weighs about 140 lbs. She will be playing high school fastpitch softball. What size bat is recommended? ally mac
Based off of her current height and weight, we recommend a 32" in the 2017 Easton Stealth Flex -11 Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP17SF11.
Cooper
Can you tell me the actual scale weight of a 32/21? pr
A 2017 Easton Stealth Flex -11 Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP17SF11 in a 32/21 will likely have a weight of 21.4 ounces.
Cameron
My daughter is 16, 5'2" and weighs about 135. I want to get her the stealth flex but not sure what size. Alan
Based on your player's height and weight, I would suggest the 2017 Easton Stealth Flex -11 Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP17SF11 in a 32" 21oz. size.
Logan
How does this bat compare to the DeMarini CF9's? My daughter is 10 and currently swings a CF8. However we've heard of the DeMarini's cracking so were going to try something different. She's tiny and a slapper so were looking for something good for slappers and I love the long barrel? Is this a good choice? Also what is there a difference in performance between the -11 and -10 drop? Or is the difference just the weight? marc
The 2017 Easton Stealth Flex -11 Fastpitch Softball Bat (FP17SF11) is very comparable to the 2017 DeMarini CF9 Fastpitch Softball Bat (WTDXCFP). Both feature two piece composite designs and are very balanced. This Stealth Flex is going to have a little bit less vibrations. The only difference between the -11 version and the -10 version is going to be that the -10 is one ounce heavier than the -11.
Carter
My daughter will be 12 years old in July. She is about 4'10". She weighs 73 lbs. It's time for a bigger bat. She currently uses (-13) 29"/16 oz. My husband wants her to go to a -11 (30"/19 oz). I'm wondering if that's too heavy. Thoughts? carla
Based upon your player's height and weight, I think that she would be just fine going with the 30" length. I might recommend having her try out a teammates 19 oz bat (if possible) to see if that weight would be a realistic weight to which she could adjust with some practice. If she does well with that weight, then I think this 2017 Easton Stealth Flex -11 Fastpitch Softball Bat (FP17SF11) in the 30"/19 oz size would work well.
Ben
My daughter is 13 years old, 5'7" tall, and weighs 110 pounds. What size bat would be best for her? I was thinking 32", -11. Softball mom
We would suggest a 32" length of bat for her height and weight. Unfortunately we can't really recommend a weight of bat, as there are too many factors we don't know. Things like her strength, swing efficiency, if she chokes up or not, etc can all affect the weight used.
Kyle J.
My daughter is 14, 5'5" and 141. She just started softball this spring and has been using a 32", $30 aluminium bat that hurts her hands sometimes. Would this be a good bat if she is planning on playing the next 4 years in HS? Gabs
The 2017 Easton Stealth Flex -11 Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP17SF11 would be a great bat to consider for a player that is looking for a bat to help reduce vibration. This bat is a two-piece fully composite model. What we would caution is this bat features a -11 and most high school players will benefit from a -10. A better option would be the 2017 Easton Stealth Flex -10 Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP17SF10 in a 33 inch model.
Cameron
Is this bat balanced or end loaded? CD
The 2017 Easton Stealth Flex -11 Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP17SF11 is balanced.
Logan
The drop 11 and drop 10 both say 13 inch barrel on the bat, but in the store, I could clearly see that the barrel was longer on the drop 10? Bill
We are not aware of the 2017 Easton Stealth Flex -11 Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP17SF11 and the drop 10 model having different barrel lengths. With that said, it would not be the first time one has brought this up with regards to barrel length on one bat compared to the next.
Cameron
I don't see the ASA stamp, is it on there? Phil Smyser
The 2017 Easton Stealth Flex -11 Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP17SF11 will feature the ASA stamp. It is located below "Easton" on the barrel of the bat.
Cameron
Does this 2017 Stealth Flex need to be broken in? MP
The 2017 Easton Stealth Flex -11 Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP17SF11 does feature composite material, so it would benefit from a break in process of a couple days of hitting off a tee or soft toss.
Logan
Would this be a good bat for Slappers? seanjohn
This 2017 Easton Stealth Flex -11 Fastpitch Softball Bat (FP17SF11) could certainly be an option for a slap hitter. It is has a solid barrel length and light/balanced feel to it. Both of those features are things that will be valued by slap hitters and the reason why this bat can be considered by slap hitters.
Ben
My daughter just turned 9. She is 4'10" & about 100 lbs. She is generally a line drive hitter. She's been swinging a 30" 18 oz Easton aluminum bat for coach pitch. She is switching over to fast pitch for the first time this year. I was thinking of getting her this bat and sticking with the 30" to give her a bit more control and just adding the 1 oz of swing weight. Would you agree or should I go with the 31" 20 oz? Tim
I would recommend going with the 2017 Easton Stealth Flex -11 Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP17SF11 with a suggested length of 31 inches for a player with the specifications you've listed.
Dan
My daughter is 14, 5'6", 125 lbs. She plays travel ball, and will be on the high school team next year. What bat is suggested? Robyn
The 2017 Easton Stealth Flex -11 Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP17SF11 would be a great option for your player. Based on her height and weight, I would suggest the 33" size.
Logan
My daughter is 14, is 5"4" tall and weighs 170 pounds. Would a -11 be ok for her? 33"/22 oz? She swings hard has been playing a good while. t
I think a bat that size would be just fine for her. You could even go up to a 34" length if you thought she could handle it. We always recommend swinging the largest bat that you can comfortably swing with good bat speed, as the more mass you can put into the ball the more power you will have.
Kyle J.
My daughter is 13 yrs old, 5'9" and 165 lbs. What length bat would you recommend? lild11n
Based on your player's height and weight, I would suggest a 34" 2017 Easton Stealth Flex -11 Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP17SF11.
Logan
My daughter has played two years in high school with the Easton Mako. I want to get her a new bat. Is the Stealth better than the Mako? Ron
The Easton Mako has been renamed to the 2018 Easton Ghost. If you are looking for a bat similar to the Mako, that is what I would suggest. The Easton Stealth Flex -11 is a very good bat as well that features a two-piece design and still maintains the CXN Zero technology for better vibration dampening.
Kyle J.
The last bat my 13 year old daughter loved was her DeMarini Vandetta. She's outgrown it, is currently 5 feet, two inches tall, and weighs 90 pounds. Needs a lighter composite bat. What do you think? Tina
The 2017 Easton Stealth Flex -11 Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP17SF11 would be a great option to replace your DeMarini Vendetta. Based on her height and weight, I would suggest going with a 32" 2017 Easton Stealth Flex -11 Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP17SF11.
Logan
My daughter is 5'5" and 105 lbs. Would this be a good bat for her and would a 32 or 33 be best? Carol
The Easton Stealth Flex is a quality model bat. We would recommend a 32" length for her height and weight, but that is more of an estimation. A 33" could work as well if that is something she is more used to.
Kyle J.
My daughter is almost 13. She's 5"5', 110 pounds and she's a long & lean slapper. Would this bat be a good fit for her? If so, what length/weight would you recommend? adbcmb
This 2017 Easton Stealth Flex -11 Fastpitch Softball Bat (FP17SF11) would be a great option for your player and I would recommend a 32"/21 oz size. It has a balanced swing weight which is ideal for slappers.
Taylor
My 10 year old daughter is 4"9' and about 105 lbs. She is currently using a 30 aluminium bat with -13. What size bat would you suggest? We are looking to go to composite bat. marky mark
Based on your daughter's height and weight, we would recommend getting the 2017 Easton Stealth Flex -11 Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP17SF11 in a 31''.
Tori
My daughter is about to be 10 and is 4'5" (70 lbs). She has very good bat speed but scared to move up in weight. What size bat would you recommend? albert
Based on your daughter's height, weight and age, I would recommend getting the 2017 Easton Stealth Flex -11 Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP17SF11 in a 30 inch model. This would give you a weight of 19 ounces.
Cameron
My daughter is 5'5" and 140 lbs. She hasn't developed that dynamic bat swing yet. She is still learning. Looking at the Stealth, what are your suggestions? Gus
Looking at your daughter's height and weight, would recommend getting the 2017 Easton Stealth Flex -11 Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP17SF11 in a 33 inch model. This bat is a great option to consider for someone seeking a -11 length to weight ratio bat as it features a two-piece composite design with a balanced swing weight.
Cameron
Would this bat in a 30" work for my daughter who is 81 lbs and 54" tall? Also, this is a composite bat right? Fred
We would recommend a 30" for her height and weight, yes. This is also a two-piece full composite design.
Kyle J.
My daughter is 12 years old, 5'1", 90 lbs. What size bat would you recommend? G
With those player specifications, we would suggest a 31" or 32" bat. The 2017 Easton Stealth Flex -11 Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP17SF11 does come in a 32" 21 oz. option.
Daveron
My 14 year old daughter is 5 ft 5 inches tall and 125 lbs. She has a DeMarini 31 inch drop 12 bat. I was considering going to a 33 drop 11. Is this a good size or what do you recommend? Todd
Based on your daughter's height and weight, getting the 2017 Easton Stealth Flex -11 Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP17SF11in a 33'' would work best for her.
Tori
My daughter is 14, 5'6" tall 125 lbs plays in fastpitch travel tournaments. Which bat performs best? Cat
Given your player's specifications, the -11 feature of the 2017 Easton Stealth Flex -11 Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP17SF11 may end up being a little bit light for your player. I would recommend a -10 bat like that of the 2018 Easton Stealth Flex -10 Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP18SF10 which has been highly reviewed in terms of pop.
Tyler
My daughter has used this bat since January, throughout the summer season and fall ball. She's a power hitter with fast hands. She's almost 12, 145 pounds, 5'5". She's been using the -11, 32". We actually have to send it in for a replacement because of rattling, but should we be considering a bat with different specs? Maybe a -10 drop? More length? Thanks. Sara
The 2017 Easton Stealth Flex -11 Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP17SF11 could be a bit light for your daughter, which could be causing the issues with the model. I would look at getting a -10 in a 33''.
Max
Is the barrel incredibly short on the -11 model like with the Easton Ghost -11s? Jason
The barrel length of the Easton Stealth Flex should be very similar to the Easton Ghost X.
