MUST HAVE! Kevin W coach
Pros: If you are a baseball coach or give lessons, you need to have this in your bag. This is a great tool to show kids (of all ages) where their hands should be at impact. I highly recommend this product and for the price, you can't beat it
Cons: none
AXE One Hand Trainer JBD parent
Pros: Well balanced and not to heavy for younger ball players learning to use this training technique.
Cons: We have had it for about a month now and no real "cons" to report at this point.
Tee-Ball Bill Jordan parent
Pros: My 4 year old used this bat for Tee-ball last year. It was much more easier for him to control his swing with this shorter heavier bat than the longer lighter bat. His older brother uses for 1 hand drills. Solid wood trainer that is built to last.
Cons: I added 5 for Pop, but its not really designed for bat dropping bombs.
Trainer Bat Troy Melquist parent
Pros: Good for one hand training. Excellent for youth kids.
Cons: None.

Do they make one that's lighter for my little kids? Steve
How does this compare to a fungo for hitting balls to kids? Is it even for that? Looks like it could work, please explain if that will be a good fit for this bat. Alan
About the Brand
Launched by Baden Sports in 2011, the Axe line of bats was hailed as a breakthrough in bat technology by players and coaches from youth leagues to the Pros. The makers of the Axe line of bats often pose the question, "What does your traditional knob do for you?" Most players don't have a good answer. Axe engineers have created a handle that is not only more comfortable and safer in terms of hand injuries, but also helps improve the hitter's swing by keeping them on an even plane. Although Axe is new to the market, they are backed by Baden Sports, Inc., an independent, family-owned company that has been making baseball products since 1979. Their passion to create a better game is unparalleled, making it no surprise that the Axe handle is set to be baseball's next big thing.
