Pros: Great price, pop and balance. My son has been using Eaton Bats since he was 8. Now as a sophomore in high school decided to try the Rip-it after doing research on bats. His teammates actually made fun of the bat when they first saw it (not a big name) but after the rockets he hit they all want to try it. My son can't believe how the ball flies off this bat and it's barely broken in!

Cons: Non unless not having a flashy color bat is a con. The results will more than make up for that!

Pros: Pop and feel are great.

Cons: My travel team had four of these during the past season and all four dented. I have returned my son's bat twice now and the latest one has also dented.

Rip it is no joke Dirk White parent

Pros: Son had a Cat 6 drop -8 for little league ball. He's grown about 6 inches in the last year and moved up to select ball. He's always been a 3-6 hole hitter and the light Cat 6 just wasn't cutting it anymore (plus the drop 8 was now illegal to use). Needed a heavier bat and after a little research ordered the Rip It Element drop 3. I thought it may be a bit heavy for him being 5 extra ounces and end loaded. He gets a bit sore in the core after an hour of batting practice but is drilling the ball in games. Really enjoys the bat and now some of the other players want to use it. Builds bat speed and muscle.

Cons: Definitely takes some getting used to. It feels much heavier than a balanced bat. Takes some strength to swing effectively. Smaller players should stay away.

Name Says It All Dayton player

Pros: Great Bat. I was skeptical at first, but I was very impressed after about two swings. It has great pop. You can definitely feel when you get a solid hit. The ball flies off of the bat. Even when you miss the sweet spot, the ball travels well. It lasts for a long time and has little to no vibration. Feels great when you connect with the ball.

The 2016 RIP-IT Element ONE BBCOR Baseball Bat: BA is made out of a newer more improved alloy. However, the RIP-IT Prototype was fairly similar in design. They both have one-piece alloy designs with slightly end loaded swing weights.

The RIP-IT Prototype BBCOR Baseball Bat: B1403 features R1 alloy while the 2016 RIP-IT Element ONE BBCOR Baseball Bat: BA will have R4.

Both bats are equally good and it really depends on what type of hitter you are to determine which option is better for you. The 2016 RIP-IT Element ONE BBCOR Baseball Bat: BA features a one-piece alloy design with a slightly end loaded swing weight. It is typically a better option for a power hitter.
