Description
When you step up to the plate, confidence is key. That's confidence in your team to give everything to the game - confidence in yourself to get the job done - and unquestioning confidence in your equipment. The team at Easton has obviously been in the game for years and knows that not every hitter is built the same. All of the characteristics that define the archetype of a "Contact Hitter" can be found in the new Easton S3 Senior League Baseball Bat: SL16S310 - 1.) The S3 is forged from HMX (Hyperlite Matrix) Alloy for an expanded sweet spot and tremendous trampoline effect. 2.) Its traditional, stiff feel from its one-piece alloy design ensures that all of the seam-splitting energy you create is transferred directly to the baseball; and nowhere else. 3.) Wrap those features up with a perfectly-balanced swing weight and new HYPERSKIN Performance Grip for supreme control, and there's not one inch of the plate that's out of your Hot Zone.
The S3 Senior League features a 2 5/8" barrel diameter, -10 length to weight ratio, and the USSSA BPF 1.15 Certification. Pleasantly Surprised! Wes parent
Pros: My son got this bat after using a composite bat most of the spring season. The composite bat is great, but the ball pops off of the S3 so much better. His bat speed is also better and most importantly, his confidence is at an all-time high. He has never hit for power, but he hit a few off the wall with the S3. I definitely recommend it, especially for the current price.
Cons: None yet. He's used it for a few months and it's still in great shape.
Good pop but not durable at all! Mike Bartholomew parent
Pros: Bought this bat for my son in September. He plays 11U, hit well during two weeks of practice and a weekend tournament. During the second tournament, the end cap cracked in three pieces and blew off the end of the bat during an at bat. Contacted Easton who sent us another one, which he got in time to use for a tournament the weekend of Oct 8. Last night at practice, a piece of the end cap broke again and is rattling around the inside of the bat. That's twice in a little over a month that the end cap broke. Should have read the reviews on other sites that said to stay away from this bat for that exact reason. It's shame though because it is a good bat if it weren't for the constantly defective end cap.
Cons: End cap keeps breaking after minimal use.
Boom! David player
Pros: Great pop!
Cons: None

The bat may not exceed 34" in length, and the bat barrel may not exceed 2 5/8" in diameter. Please recommend a 2 5/8" senior league (-10) bat. Here are the rules that need to be adhered to. All aluminum/alloy barrel bats and all composite handle (only) aluminum/alloy barrels are allowed. Only composite barrel bats certified and marked BBCOR .50 will be allowed. Chris
Looking for a bat for my 10 year old. He had a '15 S3 and he loved it (but it was a [28" / 2 3/4"]). I would like to get a 29" bat, but I noticed you don't sell this in a 2 3/4" size. Is the 2 5/8" recommended for his age? dre
My son is 8, getting ready to turn 9, and has the Easton S3. He is not a big kid but can put power behind his swing and plays year round for a travel team. He dented his first S3 in just a couple months. It has been replaced and we have had his new one for roughly 3 or 4 months and you can feel dents starting again. We do not use the bat in the cold and doesn't get used for anything other than batting practice or games. What bat would you recommend for him and want to stay with a 28 and 2 5/8 barrel since he is only 64 pounds. We need something a little more durable. Before getting the S3 he had a COMBAT and it had to be replaced because his first one cracked from hitting. Luch
