Becoming a Combat guy Combat Convert player
Pros: This is my 2nd Combat. Was cautious about purchasing my first (2014 Combat Wanted), but the way that performed, I had no issue purchasing another. Like the Wanted, this bat has a huge sweet spot. Pop is essentially the same as ever other BBCOR, but this bat is much more forgiving. I think if Combat did a better job marketing, more people would be using their bats. They're great bats. This bat has a HUGE barrel.
Cons: Hard to find. Like all Combat bats, you usually can only find them online. Also, price is pretty high. I'd suggest buying an old (but new) Wanted (so you get the warranty), and waiting a year for the price to come down on this bat. Only reason I'm not still using my Wanted is because it's a 32". I wanted to order a 33".
Combat Maxum David coach
Pros: Great BBCOR bat, very balanced with some pop.
Cons: None
maxum Billy parent
Pros: Lightest swing weight ever and the barrel is twice as big as other bbcore bats
Cons: Haven't had the bat for long enough for a true test in games yet but in the cage and in tryouts it has been they said and much more.
Great hhuhd player

Combat Maxum Johnny baseball player
Pros: Amazing bat. Great pop and comes with a lizard skin grip
Cons: Everyone on team wants to use the bat
Stinger BZ parent
Pros: Consistant as the Mako but with a longer barrel. Lots of room for error. The ball will get smoked. Great for high school and hitting a rope into the gap. You would think the bat would be heavy but it's ultra balanced.
Cons: Price is steep but your getting a heck of bat. Dont be scared because it's a comabt.
Barrel + Pop Mid Atlantic College Prep Baseball player
Pros: This bat has a huge sweetspot that cant be found on really any other BBCOR bat. It is high quality composite so once broken in the ball shoots off this bat. That being said it is a one piece bat so you get negative feedback from mis-hits even though i dont consider that a con.
Cons: The $450 price tag is ugly .... the 2014 B4 Portent is composed of the same composite with a slightly smaller sweetspot (still ridiculously large compared to other bats) and can be found on ebay for $100-200 brand new. Ive had a B4 for a while now and it is just as good.
Hot out of the wrapper Wisconsin Dad parent
Pros: My son hit his first 2 buckets tonight. Stiff, cool May wind in his face and still driving the ball 300ft consistently! He is a very technical hitter and the feedback he gave was - "this is the first bat that I've hit with that doesn't really feel like a bbcor". Loves the balance of the bat and extended pure contact area. Never owned a Combat before (prior XL1 and Voodoo)...he is hooked! I'm a believer!
Cons: none at this point
Combat Adam Chim player
Pros: Best bbcor bat I have hit with yet, the barrel is massive and it has a very balanced weight, its worth the $250 100% don't sleep on this deal
Cons: the lizard skin was to spread out but its an easy fix.
average Ryan Rambler player
Pros: large sweet spot
Cons: not lot of pop
Combat honest review from a highschooler Jacob player
Pros: Huge barrel.
Cons: This bat has no pop. It also hurts really bad when you hit it off the end. That is normal in most bats but this hurts more than usual. The bat came to me "dead" and I have used it for 2 months and it still feels "dead". I am disappointed with this bat.
Just got Combat Maxum 32/29 Colton 24 player
Pros: Great bat pop right out of plastic. Cant wait till gets broke in feels awesome.
Cons: none
ok Bob player
Pros: Big sweet spot
Cons: can have some sting and not alot of pop
It has so much pop?? Trey player
Pros: Pop no vibration even if you hit it off in the bat
Cons: None
fantastic bat berit k parent
Pros: My son is the poster child for Combat. This bat is selling in stores for $449. Amazing pop. Customer service is off-the-chain amazing and super fast shipping.
Cons: Vibration a little but I think it comes with changing bat size
Bad Bat Jim parent
Pros: none
Cons: bat sweet spot is small you would think it was big though because of the size of the barrel, Demarini voodoo raw has more pop.
combat Maxim BBCOR bat review Andy Robinson player
Pros: Great pop. Great weight distribution.
Cons: Not much bad about this bat. I am very happy with the performance.
great bat Steven Thomas parent
Pros: This is a great bat, its our 2nd Combat (still have the B1), so i don't think durability will be an issue. Just don't hit rocks with it! My son loves hitting with a Combat bat, we waited for the price to drop before buying it so it wasn't so bad. it has more pop than any other bbcor bat out there so just buy one.
Cons: $450 is a bit much.
baseball dad Dad parent
Pros: solid bat with a large sweet spot
Cons: knob slightly uncomfortable
Not Bad Jason parent
Pros: My son loves Combat bats and this does not disappoint.
Cons: Lizard skin came undone after two practices.
Great bat Max Goldstein player
Pros: This bat is extremley light and has great pop.
Cons: none
great pop akward feeling though Jax player
Pros: Amazing pop, best I've ever had
Cons: Feels like you never get good swings off. Ever since I changed my swing it feels akward as its feels as if its dragging through the zone and that you have quicker hands with a regular bat with regular barrel and weight distribution
Great Bat John Smiley parent
Pros: Bat has good pop, it took about 50 to 60 hits to breakin. Bat is well balanced.
Cons: None!
Bat is amazing Trevor Z player
Pros: Huge sweet spot and I love the one piece. The bat has a lot of pop and a cool color way.
Cons: The lizard skin is starting to tear but is an easy fix. Really good bat asides for this
Review Nate player
Pros: Great feel, I used this bat for 3 years during high school before getting the 2017 version I had no reason to change to a different brand. This bat is the best bat I have ever had.
Cons: Grip wears out fast, but you can get a new lizard skin pretty much anywhere.
why did they discontinue this bat? hector gomez player
Pros: its the best. so much pop. ive had it for 2 years already and its still one of my favorite bats out there.
Cons: nothing
