The MAXUM Sweet Spot also has the unique ability to provide a softer feel for players on contact - reducing negative vibrations and sting - while also creating maximum trampoline effect. That ability to achieve the maximum-allowable level of barrel compression lies in the inclusion of COMBAT'S proprietary Performance Enhancing Disc (PED) Technology. The PED Multi-Wall construction creates two independent barrel walls - freeing-up the outside wall to flex beyond the point that single wall designs can reach. More flex = more trampoline = EXPLOSIVE PERFORMANCE! These bats are one-piece composite designs created through advanced Precision Molding Technology (PMT). Unlike typical composite bats that are created by rolling/overlapping layers of material, the PMT process injects liquid resin into seamless high-quality carbon sleeves under extreme pressure.
