HUGE Barrel!! Sandra parent
Pros: Ball jumps off this bat like crazy! The barrel is ridiculously larger than my sons other bat.
Cons: Little pricey but well worth it. Plus, there's a 500 day warranty!
great bat bobby player
Pros: hits exelent
Cons: nothing
Wow Adam parent
Pros: This bat is so hot opposing coaches are asking umpires to check the bats to make sure it's legal. Ball explodes off the bat. Buy one!!
Cons: The bat does have some vibration but thats the only thing.
Beast Bat jackson fitzgerald parent
Pros: the ball flies off the bat. my son bought this and i thought it was a little over priced but it is well worth it
Cons: none
MR. D. Mr D. parent
Pros: Great Pop
Cons: Plastic end cap peals when dropped on to dirt. Not very sturdy. Once the cap pops it becomes a 400 Dollar paper weight.
Jaw Dropper!!! NJ parent
Pros: Bat is hot out of wrapper !!! Best bat I have ever seen !!! My son has had every composite and alloy bat imaginable ranging from $100 - $300. None of them compare to the performance of this bat. I highly recommend it !!!
Cons: Absolutely Nothing !!! Great job with this one Combat!!!
Great Bat James parent
Pros: Had to convince my son that this was a better choice for him over the Mako. This is a well balanced bat, bat speed is almost 5 MPH faster with this bat compared to his S1. A little spendy but worth it.
Cons: None
Jaw Dropping Performance !!! 1HappyDad parent
Pros: Ultra light swing weight very similar to rawlings velo and cf6 with a mako size barrel. It has great pop out of wrapper. Paint is a pearl white with metallic flakes and it looks awesome. My son has had top of the line bats from all the big name companies. This is definately the best bat in my opinion.
Cons: None yet !!! My son has had a couple of combats in the past, so I do not expect to have any durability issues.
Best bat ever! Bruinag parent
Pros: -Extremely long barrel -Feels very light and balance -Great pop right out of the wrapper
Cons: None so far, hope it lasts
CRACK! BATMONGER parent
Pros: DeMarini C7, Nexxum, Voodoo, Easton S1, S2, S3, Mako, Combat G3. My son has used all of these bats in different lengths and swing weights. This bat fit his particular swing the best. It's got a nice big barrel with a huge sweet spot. He is a very thin 5'0" 11 year old. Contact hitter. With this bat he hits consistently and not hits the potential to hit one over the fence. Length and swing weight are vital to fitting any players swing. This one just happens to be the one for my son. The other bats are great as well.
Cons: the G3 had very cool paint/design with the Black and Green. The new Maxum is a little grown-up in cosmetics. If you want a cool looking bat look somewhere else. But as they say about hot rods..."If it don't run...chrome it"
TERRIBLE Anthony player
Pros: Looks Pretty
Cons: Everything got the bat delivered yesterday on the 3rd swing today the barrel SHATTERED 2nd time I've had a problem with combat definitely wouldn't recommend it
Great bat Tommy Clark coach
Pros: Pop Balanced weight
Cons: None, maybe cost
Disappointed Mason parent
Pros: The graphics and paint are sweet. It is well balanced. My son loves the lizard Skins Grip. For a composite bat, I was very surprised that there was no sting whatsoever. 500 day warranty & a 30 day money back guarantee- Awesome! Also, I can't say enough good things about JustBats.com customer service. They are the best! I've bought at least 5 bats from them and will probably continue to do so. That's the good...
Cons: ...Now for the bad. Very pricey for a youth bat. I read all these good reviews on this bat so I thought I'd give it a try. My son plays on a high level select travel team. He's 4'9" and weighs 65 lbs.; not exactly huge. For him, he was still hitting the ball farther with his year old Easton S2, even after breaking it in (250 tee hits, 300 soft toss hits, & 300 overhand hits, all turning the barrel 1/4 turn after every swing.) Pop? It was just OK- just not impressed, especially since it's a $400 bat. My son and myself expected a lot more pop from it. 6 days after using it I noticed a crack in the barrel and what sounded like a small pebble rattling around inside the bat. With it being July 2, so close to the end of the season, I'm not sure I am willing to take another chance on a $400 bat that broke within 6 days . I've always liked Combat Bats, so maybe we'll give them another try next year.
A Contact Hitters bat Hank King coach
Pros: This bat is incredibly balanced. You can hit all day with this bat. Perfect contact hitter bat, balance is so perfect you can adjust in the middle of the swing. It is so crazy light you can go deep just by the speed of your swing. This bat is too light and balanced to be fair against a pitcher.
Cons: The cons are it's pros it is light so you will sacrifice weight velocity on the swing. I would use this bat if I were a contact hitter and hits and OBP were my main job.
U7 year old greg parent
Pros: balance, feel, and sweet spot. my son is small so this bat has what Easton doesn't... a 28/16 drop with a huge sweet spot. other kids on team using and loving it.
Cons: expensive
awesome bat my grandson loves it! He's 8 years old Randy Pitts other
Pros: Light huge sweet spot
Cons: Pricey but worth it
Not a great but OK Bat. KMC coach
Pros: Bat is very well balanced and super light. You can put a very good swing with this bat.
Cons: Bat just has no pop. It sounds horrible when hit. As someone who has to buy several Bats a season I was most excited for this Bat. At first all the kids on a 10u Travel Ball team were excited to use it. After the proper break in it was given to the team for use. Game by game it got used less and less to the point it is now never used. It gets skipped over for bats such as 2015 S2 DeMarini Voodoo. It was 400.00 when I purchased but even at 199.00 is a poor deal. I am being as real as I can and giving the experience of a Vey good Travel Ball team.
DINGER DURBY dingerson parent
Pros: My kid hit 3 HR in one game with this bat. He also hit 1 the naxt game too!
Cons: NONE
Excited Alan coach
Pros: The bat has a great feel and the big barrel helps our kids make solid contact. The bat is extremely light and helps our guys generate bat speed. The ball seems to jump off the bat when solid contact is made. So far we love the bat.
Cons: I did not really know how to rate the durability of the bat since the bat has only been used for two weeks.
Kids love it. Coach Tom coach
Pros: The kids like the swing wieght. very very balanced bat. All my kids on average added 2-3 mph on hand speed and 5 mph on bat speed with the zepp sensor on this bat. Kids feel more confident with the bat control and overall the bat has been well recieved by the team with a bunch of them choosing this over their makos and demarinis.
Cons: Loss of baseballs over the outfield fence.??
great bat johnnie parent
Pros: great pop out of the box and even better after 200 or so hits and just keeps getting hotter the more he hits with it.
Cons: not many only thing my son has said is he wishes he could have picked the color of the grip
GREAT BAT! JM parent
Pros: Kid loves it!
Cons: None
Great Pop Play Ball parent
Pros: Bat sounds great and the ball really comes of the bat. My 8 year old is hitting the ball with much more force than his old bat.
Cons: Non so far
Great for contact hitter Parent/coach parent
Pros: This bat is light weight and balanced. My kid added 5-7 mph average on his Zepp bat speed at impact compared to his old -10 DeMarini. Also noticeable increase in hand speed and time to impact. The hitting surface is a little larger than most other 2-5/8 bats, but no where near as large as the -10 Maxum, which is huge. Easy to handle and a great bat for a contact hitter. Note that I put a 29 inch (-12) Maxum on a calibrated scale and it weighed 18.1.ounces.
Cons: It does not have the pop of the -10 Maxum and the sweet spot is obviously smaller. But that's the trade off for dropping two ounces. Still its pop is similar to other comparable high performance bats, just not noticeably better.
Great bat Ross parent
Pros: Bought bat for my 9 year old - he loves it - great feel right out of box and has been hitting great with it. The service was excellent - got the bat in a few days!
Cons: Break in process can be laborious but once done - you are good to go!
dinger stick jacob player
Pros: great pop
Cons: very hard to get use to like how it is the long fat sweet spot
Great Bat Rigby Baseball parent
Pros: From the wrapper to the strike zone, the bat is hot and ready to use! We are very satified! We orginally use a Demarini Cf8 2 3/4 bc our son plays travel ball, well he played league ball so that bat was illegal! This bat proved its ratings and is top notch! He will be showing out at all-stars! The ball speed coming off this bat definately increases!
Cons: None so far.
Compression Testing D.H. parent
Pros: My grandson loves the feel of the bat & gets a lot of pop.
Cons: His bat was compression tested for an All Star Regional Tournament & we were told it did pass compression testing & it was deemed an illegal bat. We purchased the bat for All Stars & now he cannot use it. Very disappointed
Disappointed- Read ALL reviews before buying!! Coach K coach
Pros: As most if the reviews state, this bat has a HUGE barrell! The bat looks great and feels light. my son has other 29" 17oz bats that feel and swing heavier. out of the wrapper, its everything it claims to be. A pro and con is the vibration so inhave it the benefit if the doubt. with the lrge barrell, mishits are few and far between. but on a mishit or an inside pitch off of the handle, the vibrations are bad.
Cons: ZERO pop. in defense of the bat, inthink it is like anything else mass manufactured. i am sure 9 out of 10 off the line are great, and then there is a dud, probably with some hidden flaw. its interesting the reviews are great or awful, nothing in between. sewms to aupport the theory. Took all proper break in technigues, rotating the barrell, 200+ hits etc before thinking about a review. my son has the DeMarini Voodoo youth and the Easton Mako Youth (we went to a big barrell because he made a travel team that allows them). The ball jumos off of both if those bats. with the Combat, it sounds like a dull thump and there is ZERO pop. i am going to retun it for a replacement and hope there is no hassle.
Short in stature, Big in Hitting Xfactr parent
Pros: My son has three Combat Bats, The Portent G3 29/17 2 5/8. The Maxum SL110 30/20. and the Maxum SL112 30/18. My son just turned 11 and is about 4'6" 75lbs. I bought both Maxums at drop 11 and 10 and he's liking the feel of the bat and how the ball "jumps". Not one of the bigger kids on his 10U team. But since he has switched from Demarini to the Combat line he's noticed the ball jumping off the bat, especially with the Maxum's. The bat has a nice big sweet spot and has not mentioned any problems with vibration. This boy loves his new bat!
Cons: None
Awesome Bat Bradley Poynter player

Pros: My son is 8 years old. This bat has allowed him to turn singles into double and triples. Yesterday he hit 2 triples and a homerun with the bat. Quality of the Bat Larger Hitting zone Great pop Awesome Grip improved swing speed
Cons: little pricy but worth every dollar.
combat maxum 2016 pj player
Pros: my son love his new bat
Cons: none
It Hurst at 55mph Scott Lau parent
Pros: Good Feel and Feed Back Light and Good Balance
Cons: Bad Vibration at 50-55 MPH
Great Bat out of the wrapper Bubba Britt coach
Pros: This bat has a great feel in my sons hands and the balance fits him perfect. There is tremendous pop right out of the wrapper and can't wait to see it with about 500 hits on it!
Cons: We only have one year to use it because of the new bat rules!
Great Bat Adam parent
Pros: My 7 year old loves it. Fewer stingers than previous bat he has had.
Cons: None that we are aware of.
Won't buy this bat ever again Tammy L parent
Pros: My son loved this bat while it worked. Great warranty.
Cons: Within the first year, the bat cracked. It was fully replaced with a new one which was great, but now you no longer have a warranty. Within 10 months, the new bat cracks again...even worse than the first time. This bat is too expensive not be more durable.
