What's the best and quickest way to break the bat in so it will be hot? chaz
To break in your 2016 COMBAT Madison Shipman -10 Fastpitch Softball Bat (TCSFP110) we recommend taking 150-200 swings playing soft toss or off a tee using real softballs. Begin swinging at 40% power and work our way up to full strength as you get closer to 200 swings.

What's the reason for the BIG discount on Combat Bats??? Are they legal in all leagues (ie. LL, USSA, ASA ,etc.) @ this pt?? Are they going to be outlawed in any leagues in the upcoming year -- if you know this info?? PG
Combat has gone out of business, so we bought up the rest of their inventory and are able to discount the bats significantly. We are carrying the warranty ourselves. They are legal if they have the ASA or USSSA certification. I don't have any information about them becoming illegal. Only if they change the certification which would make all bats illegal.

The 2016 COMBAT Madison Shipman -10 Fastpitch Softball Bat (TCSFP110) is very inexpensive because Combat went out of business this year. I do not know when the rules for softball bats will change but this bat is no different than any other composite bat in that respect and if it were made illegal so would all bats currently on the market.
