Loving this bat! Steve Ackerman player

Pros: I have only used this bat for 2 games, but the first time up the ball jumped off the bat like a rocket. I love the feel of the bat, and I have even gotten a couple of hits when I didn't exactly hit the sweet spot on the bat. My confidence in this bat is growing with each at bat and I can't wait until this bat is fully broken in...........it's going to be crazy good!

Cons: I haven't found any cons yet............

Best bat for the price Brent player

Pros: This bat was hot out of the wrapper. First cut was a homer to left 310+. Large sweet spot. Comfortable grip and feel as well. Highly recommend this bat. No need to spend over $200 when you get a bat like this with the same pop.

Solid Team Bat Acidlittle player

Pros: End Load feel really good, and all the guys get really good pop on the 52core balls. I like this bat for it's price and ability to hit hard line drives, nobody on our team is a HR hitter and none of us still are. If you have warning track power, you will probably get a few over the fence. If you are a slap hitter or solid line drive hitter, this is a great bat for you. Durable bat for ASA!

Cons: Breaking it in takes time, we've used it in practice numerous times and also in games all summer and I still feel like it has some breaking in to do. Graphics are boring but who cares, they don't effect the performance of the bat and just get scuffed up. The grip is wearing out quickly but that is probably due to 5 guys using it 2 times a week and a mens league with another 5 guys using it once a week....

:) Dave player

Pros: After 3 years of amazing performance, by beloved Easton Salvo SRV5 finally bit the dust a few weeks ago. After looking at the specs and reading the great reviews for the 750X, I thought I had found a replacement for my Salvo. Got to the field early before my game to hit some soft-toss into a net and the thud feeling got me more than a little concerned about the bats performance. About as far from "hot out of the wrapper" as I've experienced. Hit 30-40 balls, then took BP on the field. Still felt like I was hitting medicine balls. Went and shagged balls in the OF as teammates took a few cuts with my bat and I started to notice guys outhitting me who normally have much less power. Come my first AB in the game, bat had 75-100 hits on it. First swing is just a laced one iron line-drive to left center that easily went 250 with no elevation. Felt like a completely different bat from my break-in swings. Then just mashed the rest of the night.

Cons: Break-in time is what it is. Not really a con, just get it done and you'll be happy. Graphics are very very lame. Looks like a bat you'd pick up at Target. However, I am hopeful that this will help deter teammates from using it!

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Miken Ultra 750X Maxload ASA Slow Pitch Softball Bat: UL75MA? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

What are the advantages of the Maxload vs Balanced Ultra 750X? SIDAZ
The 2015 Miken Ultra 750X Maxload ASA (UL75MA) Slow Pitch will have a 0.5 oz. end loaded which will benefit a power hitter, whereas the 2015 Miken Ultra 750X Balanced ASA (UL75BA) Slow Pitch will be more balanced for a contact hitter.
Damon
Are there any major differences between this bat and the 2014 Miken Ultra 750X Maxload? And is this bat specifically designed for the new .52 CORR ball that ASA uses? Jay
The 2015 Miken Ultra 750X Maxload ASA (SUL75MA) and the 2014 Miken Ultra 750X Maxload ASA (SULTMA) use the same quality composite materials. They are designed to be used with the .52 CORR softballs.
Kara
Does it have the 1.20 BPF stamp? jane softball
The 2015 Miken Ultra 750X Maxload ASA: UL75MA does not have the 1.20 BPF stamp. Only USSSA bats will have the 1.20 BPF stamp. The 2015 Miken Izzy Psycho SuperMax (SPSYMU) has the 1.20 BPF stamp.
Kara
I can't find the 2014 model in 30 oz. Is this bat going to be as good? I really want the old model but if this is as good I'll take it. I have trouble spending the money since I'm just getting into the sport, but according to reviews last years model sounds great. If your league doesn't use .52 will it still do well? chi-town polish
The 2015 Miken Ultra 750X Maxload ASA (UL75MA) and the 2014 Miken Ultra 750X Maxload ASA (SULTMA) use the same quality 750X composite materials. Both are very high performing. We typically do not recommend using bats that are ASA approved with the .44 core balls.
Kara
My league uses a restricted flight ball. Not sure if it is a 44 or not. Temperature won't be an issue as we play in the summer. Will the ball have any effect on this bat? mark
Unfortunately, we don't have any information on whether a restricted flight softball will damage the 2015 Miken Ultra 750X Maxload ASA (UL75MA) Slow Pitch bat. This bat is designed to hit the new ASA softballs that feature a .52 COR and 300 Compression rating. Miken might be your best contact for this question. You can contact them directly at (877) 807-5291.
Mac
I know last year's model had great reviews, is there anything different from this year's other than the color scheme? TFAY
No, the 2015 Miken Ultra 750X Maxload ASA (UL75MA Slow Pitch) will have the same features as the 2014 model. It is also created out of the same material as the 2014 version. Both are very high performing ASA slow pitch bats.
Brandon
Is this Miken a Senior Softball bat? ......ballsnbats
The 2015 Miken Ultra 750X Maxload ASA (UL75MA) is not a Senior Softball bat.
Kelby
Which Miken bat will last a 6'2'', 265 lbs. power hitter longer, the Psycho Supermax or the Miken Ultra 750X Maxload? Bodhi
The 2015 Miken Ultra 750X Maxload ASA (UL75MA) and the 2015 Miken Psycho SuperMax ASA (SPSYMA) are made of the same 750X composite materials. They are both very durable and high performing.
Kara
Several reviews of last years bat say that it feels lighter than it is. I swing a balanced 28 oz., and an end loaded 27 oz. Would you recommend a 28 oz. for me? I'm 5'11 220 and can hit home runs almost whenever I'd like. I'm fresh out of high school and am still learning these bats. Bird
The 2015 Miken Ultra 750X Maxload ASA (UL75MA) only has a 1/2 oz. end load. If you are a stronger player, the 28 oz. would work fine for you.
Kara
I'm still bouncing back and forth from the Max Load and the Balanced bat. What are the pros and cons of each? dan
When comparing the 2015 Miken Ultra 750X (UL75MA) Maxload to the Miken Ultra 750X (UL75BA) balanced bat they both suit different type of hitters. The Maxload 750X balanced (UL75BA) is best suited for hitters who hit for bat speed and just to get on base. Where as the Maxload 750X Maxload (UL75MA) is best suited for hitters that hit for power and home runs.
Zach
Is this bat approved for Senior Softball? John
Unfourtanately, the 2015 Miken Ultra 750X Maxload (UL75MA) Slow Pitch will be an ASA only approved bat.
Zach
I am looking for a softball bat to use in a senior, slow pitch softball league. The bat must be approved ASA Senior Softball on it. Also, the ball we use is very soft. Buzz
The 2015 Miken Ultra 750X Maxload ASA (UL75MA) is approved for ASA. It does not have ASA Senior Softball written on the barrel of the bat. All ASA bats will simply have an ASA stamp. The Miken Ultra 750X will perform well with the softer softballs.
Kara
Is the feel of the swing different from a balanced to a end loaded? If so is it a huge difference? swanny
Balanced bats and end loaded bats will feel differently during the swing. End loaded bats have what's sometimes termed as a "sledgehammer" type feel to them, in that they take a bit more to get going, but give very good whip through the hitting zone with that end load. Balanced bats are great for MaxBat speed throughout the swing, and are easier to start the swing with than an end load. The difference between the two depends on the amount of end load, which this bat only has a .5oz end load.
Kyle J.
Does this bat have the 2004 ASA stamp? HOSS
No, the 2015 Miken Ultra 750X Maxload ASA (UL75MA) features the new ASA stamp, not the 2004 certification mark.
Justin R.
Will the old balls effect the new bats? Like cracking the bat. Is it ok to use the new bat on the old ball? swanny
The 2015 Miken Ultra 750X Maxload ASA (UL75MA) Slow Pitch is designed to be used with the .52 COR balls. The older balls can potentially damage a bat with the new ASA stamp.
Jason
Does ASA approved mean the same thing as USSSA approved? bignick91
No, they are not the same thing. Some bats will certainly be approved for both sets of league rules, however many bats are approved for ASA and not USSSA, and vice versa. The 2015 Miken Ultra 750X Maxload (UL75MA) is approved for ASA play only.
Kyle J.
Is this bat stiff or will it have flex? edward
The 2015 Miken Ultra 750X Maxload ASA (UL75MA Slow Pitch) may feel stiff due to the one-piece fully composite design.
Brandon
How does this bat compare to the FREAK 52? Which bat Is better? Cam'ron
The 2015 Miken Ultra 750X Maxload ASA (UL75MA Slow Pitch) will have very high performance and use a different type of composite compared to the Miken Freak 52 Maxload ASA. The Freak 52 will feature PWR 360 Technology and a triple wall design. It is made just for the 52 core ball only.
Brandon
Is this a single wall bat? Jimbo
The 2015 Miken Ultra 750X Maxload ASA (UL75MA) Slow Pitch bat features a single wall barrel construction.
Sean
On the ASA website it states that although some bats have the ASA stamp some bats are still not allowed to be used in play. Is this bat one of those bats? Ronnie
The 2015 Miken Ultra 750X Maxload ASA Slow Pitch Softball Bat (UL75MA) is on the current ASA approved bat list. So there should not be a problem using this bat in an ASA league.
Kelby
Is this bat on the ASA approved list or is it considered by the ASA as an illegal bat? John
The 2015 Miken Ultra 750X Maxload ASA Slow Pitch Softball Bat (UL75MA) is on the approved list for ASA, so it will be legal for play. Here is a link to the list of bats legal for use in ASA: http://www.teamusa.org/usa-softball/play-asa/certified-asa-equipment/.
Tessa
Does this bat have a large sweet spot like the Ultra II's? Is the sweet spot larger for the (UL75BA)? sustainable
It is hard to say which sweet spot is larger, because they will ultimately be very similar to one another. However, the 2015 Miken Ultra 750X Maxload ASA Slow Pitch Softball Bat: (UL75MA) will be a very high performing model, and will incorporate a nice sweet spot on its barrel.
Merritt
What weight is the end load? kevin k
The 2015 Miken Ultra 750X Maxload ASA Slow Pitch Softball Bat (UL75MA) has a half ounce end load.
Jason
I currently have this bat. Can it hit any core of a ball or just .52? I have a .47 core only tournament coming up and was told to make sure the bat can hit them without cracking? Kyle
This Miken Ultra 750X Maxload ASA Slow Pitch Softball Bat is designed to hit .52 COR / 300 Compression balls. Because of that, it really isn't designed to be hit with the .42 COR balls so there might be some durability issues if you do so.
Cade
Is this bat considered a single wall bat? David Ayala
No, the Miken Ultra 750X Maxload ASA Slow Pitch Softball Bat: UL75MA is not considered a single wall bat.

About the Brand

During the past few years, serious softball players have looked to Miken Sports for bats that provide the highest levels of performance and durability. Our relentless focus on both technology and the demands of players has made Miken the most demanded line of softball bats today.

Although composites are the latest trend in softball bats, the technology has been the core of Miken's success since the company's inception. Miken pioneered the modern high-performance composite softball bat in 1998 and has pushed the limits with every model since. No other bat company has driven innovation as hard, and the results are indisputable. Look around. If a player is serious about softball, they are most likely swinging a Miken bat.

The success of Miken Sports has been driven by two forces - innovation and a passion for delivering what players demand. The results are obvious. Players have decided that composites are the future for bats, and no one does composite like Miken.
