Pros: Great feel, from the moment you pick it up. Took BP with it at the store i bought it, and it the swing just comes natural, would come through the zone and easy to demand. picked this bat up june, 27, 2014 - J. Bill Rivera
Cons: none
Just OK Bandit player
Pros: This bat is just ok, seems very average in all aspects. I can't tell the difference between this bat and the last few louisville alloy bats. I am happy that I tried a friend's before purchasing!
Cons: Nothing special, just an average BBCOR bat
Omaha always a descent bat for the money. Brennan player
Pros: Descent swing weight, not end loaded so good bat for the contact hitter to get through the zone.
Cons: small vibrations up the handle from the sweet spot.
Just another Omaha Luca player
Pros: Looks good and sounds pretty good too.
Cons: Nothing stood out as above average when I hit with this bat. I took two rounds with it in the cage and it just doesn't compare to some of the other bbcor bats on the market.
2015 Louisville Slugger Omaha 515 BBCOR BAT Josh Cline player
Pros: This bat is the best bbcor bat I have ever owned. The grip is very comfortable and fits into your hand perfectly. This bat has a ton of pop. You definitely feel when you square the ball up. No vibration and I hit just as far with this bat as I do with my -8. I will definitely be using Louisville Slugger in the future!
Cons: Absolutely none this is an amazing bat for the price!

Pros: This bat is an amazing bat, I love it. To me this bat is the best bat I have ever had and very comfortable. I bought this bat 03-08-15 and the first time to swing and hit the ball was an amazing feeling and so comfortable to swing, nothing is uncomfortable about this bat unless you hit the ball in the wrong spot. Players, coaches, dads, moms, and anybody that loves baseball, I recommend you getting this bat, you will love it.
Cons: Price is fine for such an amazing bat, you won't regret it.

Bat Lost All Pop in 30 Days Grant player
Pros: None
Cons: This bat completely lost its pop in 30 days and had to be returned. I had my hitting coach look at it and he was surprised too. I had only used it for indoor hitting. I liked the bat initially but I cannot recommend it.

great bat austin Jackson player
Pros: has great pop. abosolutly loved it. i hit tons of homers.

Everything but the grip! GA Dad parent
Pros: Great bat. Always had a fondness for the sound of the Omaha, not the loud, annoying (IMO) ping of other metal bats. A distinct sound that gets attention when you hit a ball off it. Balanced swing weight, with a slight end load. Consistent performance right away.
Cons: The grip has a strange, spongy feel to it. Replaced with Lizard Skin, and it is much better. Noticed that LS has changed their 2016 BBCOR bat line-up to include Lizard Skin right out-of-the-package, verifying the poorly conceived grip on the 2015 model.
Ehh Senior player
Pros: Ball seems to come off the bat well. I really like the end cap, and how durable it is compared to similar models of different brands.
Cons: Feels terrible if you hit a ball. Period. Doesn't matter if it's on the sweet spot, the handle, or the end of the bat. The vibration and overall feel of the bat were very disappointing.
alright cjames player
Pros: nice grip with great pop initially, price
Cons: the bat runs out of pop withing the first month of use
Great Bat! Jake player
Pros: Great feel to it! I used it to hit over 300 feet and I felt like I barely hit the ball!
Cons: N/A

About the Brand
In 1842, J. Frederick Hillerich emigrated with his family from Baden-Baden, Germany to the United States. Eight years before, the 1834 Book of Sports had made its debut as the nation's first publication covering baseball. But when he arrived in Baltimore, J. Frederick Hillerich would never have dreamed of the future impact his family would have on America's favorite pastime.
After a short while, the Hillerichs moved to Louisville, where J. Fred started a woodworking shop in 1856. Two of his sons, Adam and John Andrew "Bud" were born in the United States and would later join their father in his business. By 1864 "J.F. Hillerich, Job Turning" was in operation and filled orders for businesses by custom-turning everything from balusters to bedposts.
The firm thrived, and by 1875 the little woodworking shop employed about 20 people. In 1880 Bud Hillerich, who was an amateur baseball player, became an apprentice in his father's shop. Young Bud made his own baseball bats along with bats for several of his teammates.
The debate over the origins of the first bat continues to generate controversy among baseball enthusiasts, but the younger Hillerich was most certainly involved in getting his father's business involved with what would become the company's signature item. According to company legend, the first bat was turned by Bud for Pete "The Old Gladiator" Browning in 1884. Browning was a star on Louisville's professional American Association team - the Eclipse. On a spring afternoon Bud, then seventeen, witnessed Browning break his favorite bat. Bud offered to make a bat for his hero, and Browning accepted. After the young wood shop apprentice lathed a quality stick from white ash, according to the story, Browning got three hits with it in the next game.
Louisville Slugger gloves are worn by more pitchers in Major League Baseball than any other glove.
