The 2015 Easton XL3 (SL15X39) will have an extended barrel with more hitting surface and an end loaded swing weight. The Easton S3 will be a balanced bat with a smaller barrel length than the Easton XL3.

We should be getting them in stock next week. I don't have information available yet as far as pre-booking which just guarantees you will get one. If we do offer pre-book it will not be until we have them in stock. I would check back next week. We won't be able to ship the bats until 9-1-2014.

The main difference between the 2015 Easton XL3 Senior League Baseball Bat (SL15X39) and last years model is that the new model is constructed from the all new Hyperlite Matrix Alloy. This all new alloy material will increase the power and control but also improves the durability as well.

Unfortunately, no. The lightest drop the 2015 Easton XL3 Senior League Baseball Bat (SL15X39) is produced in is the -9. But the (SL15S310) would be a very comparable design that is a -10. The S3 is more balanced and has a slightly smaller sweet spot.

Because of the alloy barrel and 2 5/8" barrel diameter, this 2015 Easton XL3 Senior League Baseball Bat (SL15X39) would be approved for Little League play if that specific division permits the use of a big barrel bat. Most divisions in Little League would require the smaller 2 1/4" barrel diameter.

The 2015 Easton XL3 Senior League Baseball Bat (SL15X39) will have a 2 5/8" barrel diameter. It will have more of a barrel heavy, end loaded feel. The Easton S3 will be much more balanced and provide faster bat speeds. They both are great depending on what type of hitter you are. Power guys love the XL-Series, while contact guys love the S-Series.

The Easton XL3 Senior League Baseball Bat (SL14X39) was discontinued from the manufacturer so retailers are not able to order more. Unfortunately, if any places still have them, they have pretty much sold out by now. The 2015 Easton XL3 Senior League Baseball Bat (SL15X39) does have a more advanced alloy and is a nice option that is available in several sizes currently.
