very good bat third base player
Pros: just great bat overall. nice look to it and i must add that the rotating handle is no gimmick. it actually does help the swing of the batter. very nice weight distribution not very end heavy.
Cons: just the price but it is worth it
Mako Torq 13 year old playing -3 and -5 player
Pros: Great pop, rotating handle keeps from rolling over, little to no vibration, great weighting, looks good and very good bat.
Cons: Paint chips and grip tape wears fast.
Alot of Hype Coach A coach
Pros: It is an Easton. Quality usually isn't terrible, and if it is you have a great warranty. It will help you stay in the zone longer.
Cons: This is a hitting tool, and bat in one. There are plenty of cheaper hitting devises available that help with your hands rolling over. Having a "Torq" handle will also not help you get to the ball quicker, getting to the ball quicker simply means getting the knob of the bat to the ball, and a rotating handle does not help with that. I honestly do not see top level teams, IE College, high school, even AAA, Major teams using this bat at all.
Solid Bat BZ coach
Pros: Much more solid than the 2014 Mako. Much quieter also. Make a nice crack sound rather than the loud ping. Dont fear all the reviews where people are saying it messing up swings. Its probably correcting them. If proper grip is taught then this bat would not be needed. The handle doesnt turn as easy as one would think but does work. The ball exit speed is good. I was able to land a -5 for a great price which is why I got it.
Cons: The price point is high and could probably use better grip tape.
mako torq walker chambers player
Pros: once you break it in you get good hits
Cons: at first its bad because you need to get 500 hits before it brakes in and you cant get a lot of inside pitches
Great bat Mike player
Pros: good pop, 2 piece bat, helps line up your knuckles.
Cons: The bat tape will wear out.
Torq Bo player
Pros: The handle helps. If you have perfectly lined up hand it doesn't rotate until the end of your swing
Cons: Grip gets messed up easily
Very good Bat Asher player
Pros: 1. Solid pop off the bat 2. Absolutely no vibration 3. The handle is a huge help on getting the bat to the ball fast
Cons: Only two cons are that the grip wears down after lots of use, and its very expencive
Ok Tykrell player
Pros: -Light -Decent pop -NO vibration unless you hit it on cap or on handle -Durable, I've had no problems with it
Cons: -Don't like the grip. -Very light for a -5. Even though I'm small, I am better off with a drop 3 -Not as much pop as XL1
Decent Anderson parent
Pros: Decent bat Decent pop Youre better off with xl1
Cons: I go to a training facility and if you work to opposite fields you will realize you pop every thing up. I taped up the handle and it works perfectly.
Mako torq Corbin Pomerenke coach
Pros: its a nice bat. It helps my players from rolling over the ball. And also it's got pop. We modeled them and they took our team to be to state champions.
Cons: its got a smaller barrel.
MAKO TORQ Eli Gula player
Pros: LOTS of pop. Nice grip on bat handle. Really bright awesome looking. 5 out of star bat, thank you.
Cons: Nothing bad.
Better than I thought! baseball dad parent
Pros: Bought this bat for my son recently. Always wanted him to try out the torq and once I saw the price drop on last years model I jumped on it. He's been swinging the torq for about two weeks now and I've gotta say the initial results have been great so far. The ball seems to jump off this bat and had a great wood-like crack sound when you square one up, no loud ping. As far as the turning handle goes, it doesn't move as much as you would think which is fine by me. I was concerned that it would move too much, but it doesn't. For the price you absolutely cant go wrong with this bat.
Cons: The grip is a little uncomfortable, thin and hard. I actually put a lizard grip over the original grip in two pieces and now the feel is fantastic.
Mako Torq review Mike Conder parent
Pros: This bat has a tremendous amount of pop. It is easy to handle and just slightly end loaded. We have the CF7 and the Torq has a little bit more load but not as much as the VooDoo we use. Great bat for the discounted price.
Cons: The handle is a bit small. We replaced the current tape on handle and added a lizard skin tape. This is now our go to bat.
son loves it DD parent
Pros: ready to go out of the wrapper
Cons: none
Mako torq Lucas Bear player
Pros: It is the greatest in the world.
Cons: nothing
Short Stop- The Fuzz Mini Short Stop player
Pros: It is a great bat because it has great pop keeps you from rolling over and is great when the ball jams you on the plate
Cons: Grip wears fast and I suggest you put on new grip
