great bat Will Bennett player

Pros: massive barrel fastest bat through the zone great paintjob this bat would have been flawless but (cons)

Cons: this bats grip is bad but that is an easy fix if you buy lizard skins bat grip for only $10-12 dollars depending on which roll you get. this bat would have had all 5 stars but the grip wasnt the best. GET THIS BAT!!! THE MAKO TORQ IS A RIP-OFF!

High School Player Hunter player

Pros: I dont own the bat, but the guy i hit with lets me use his. I have swung this multiple times in cage. I dont know the durability of the bat, so i just put a 5-Star. Overall- Great Pop- Amazing pop, when you square one up with this bat, you're gonna feel like Barry Bonds(On Steriods) General Feel- Best feeling bat i have ever swung, picked it up first time and felt like my Old S1 which i loved, and then i snapped it in half. That was the very first model so dont think the S1 is a bad bat Durability- N/A Vibration- Doesn't sting when you get jammed or hit it off the end. If your mainly worried about that you should just work on being a better hitter and get a wood bat. That will teach you what balls to pull the trigger on. If you wanna spend the money go ahead its a good bat. Coming from a high-school kid i don't think its $200 better than some bats but, its #1 or #2 best bat out there.

Cons: Cons- I only have one thing, when you hit it off the end, the sound is depressing and doesn't feel like the ball is going to go very far. Thats when compared to the pop sounds when you drop a cage bomb. It's not as bad getting jammed you can still get base hits doesn't sound great but what bat sounds great everywhere off the bat. Just square one up and you'll look back at dad and be like who's the boss now.

Good bat for all hitters ECBrave 17 player

Pros: The feel and look of this bat is great. Since ots balances, im able to come around quicker. Also the bat has some good pop so any hitter can use this bat

Cons: After using it for a few weeks some of the paint has chipped off, but that can happen to many bats. I like the grip on the bat, but some of my teammates dislike it so if you get the bat u might need some new grip

WHITE FIRE player

Pros: This bat in my opinion is totally worth the price. I use my friends mako all the time and the pop is baaaaddd. Ive never hit with a bat that has so much pop. The swing speed is fast as well im swinging a 33 30 and this bat feels more like a -5 than a -3 but it still produces the same pop to bat weight ratio. I feel as if i can stay through the ball a lot longer with this bat and the ball just flys. when hit directly on the sweet spot the bat feels so crisp and smooth when making contact the ball jumps of the bat. I certainly think this bat is worth the price I'm going to run and buy me one as soon as possible. Moving on towards the grip in my opinion its the best regular bat tape ive ever used theres hardly any bad vibrations when hit of the end or handle and it does not give you bad blisters. very durable. Overall Fantastic bat.

Cons: No cons.

Incredible Bat. Varsity Boonsboro Boy player

Pros: Very very light feel in your hands. Fast through the zone. Balls fly off the bat! Hits like a sledge hammer. Worth the money! Believe the hype! I have owned or used the easton s3 & s2, rip-it air, demerini voodo & cf6, Rawlings 5150 & velo & merucci cat5 & cat6. All bbcor -3. This bat is soooooo much better than any of the others its scary! I was on the fence for a while thinking that the price was not justified & that it can't be that much better than any other good bbcor bat. It is that much better!!!!! Get of the fence & buy it!!!!

Cons: Don't like grip. Just install lizard skins.

Lana'i, Hawaii Baseball Coach Mahina Romero Mahina Romero coach

Pros: Great bat. Good pop. I bought it for my son Louis-John he is 13 about 5'7". he is a long kid, legs and arms. Got a 32 inch I should have gotten a 31 inch so he could swing it faster. The bat is awesome and would recommend it to anyone interested to get it.

Cons: Easton makes good bats, I think they have too much of a selection. I like the pop of the XL1 better but being end loaded I was afraid my son couldn't swing the XL1. He swings the mako 32 pretty good and he would have been fine with a 31 XL1. I will buy an XL1 next season. Nothing bad against the Mako self preference I think the XL1 always had a better POP than the Mako even in the youth Composites. Even to hear the sound of the XL1 "PUCK" like a 22 caliber rifle.

Not good for power hitters Kent Murphey player

Pros: This bat is very light and has a great balance. This bat was designed for kids who don't have a lot of power.

Cons: If you have a lot of power then the bat will not give you pop. The bat has a trampoline affect on the ball and if you have good bat speed the affect can make your hit die out.

The Bat of Choice Bob Kiser coach

Pros: As the Head Coach of the Nationally Ranked Kansas Redlegs, I can tell you that this is the bat of choice at the highest levels of youth baseball.......if it was less expensive, it might put all other models out of business.

Cons: For kids who like thinner batting gloves.....the aggressive anti-vibe pattern on the grip becomes a problem.....tears gloves-can be uncomfortable if you get a lot of cage work.....

2015 Mako BBCOR Baseball Bat:BB15MK Bobby Valintono player

Pros: Love this bat, I have the Torq and my teamate has this one. Torq is a rip off. Any way this bat has that feeling of when you know you hit the ball really good. It is very rare to hurt your hand ith this bat. It is white so if you were to hit a lazy fly ball fielders wont get a good jump. Probably either this or the demarini overlord is the bast bbcor bat around well at least for 2015

Cons: The bat gets dirty. What do you expect its white. This bat has the type of tape though that I must say if you are the type of person to not use batting glove, MAKE SURE 2 GET A LIZARD SKIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat: BB15MK? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

When will I be able to purchase this bat? Michael
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR (BB15MK) will be available for purchase in September.
Gary T.
Is this the new Easton Mako Torq with the rotating handle that I was reading about? Donovan
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) is not the Torq model. The Torq model with the 360 degree rotating handle technology is the 2015 Easton MAKO TORQ BBCOR BB15MKT. Here is the link: http://www.justbats.com/product/2015-easton-mako-torq-bbcor-baseball-bat--bb15mkt/20978/
Patrick
Is the MAKO 2015 the same construction as the 2014 MAKO? Whats the difference besides price? dave
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) will feature a similar design as last years 2014 MAKO. Here is a link to a great video from Easton that really breaks down the differences in their all new 2015 lineup: http://goo.gl/7WQLmZ
Tessa
Do you think this bat would be too heavy for me if I am 5 foot 7 inches tall and weigh 145 lbs at 13 years old? tjdabomb.com
If you are ready to move into BBCOR style -3 bats, the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) will be one of the most balanced and, therefor, lightest swinging BBCOR bats on the market. Based on your height and weight, we would suggest a 31 or 32 inch size of the MAKO.
Patrick
I previously swung an Easton XL1, -5 and loved it. You don't see a 5'1" kid hit over the fence! I'm now going into varsity for my high school and was thinking about this bat in a BBCOR. Then again, I have also been looking at the CF7. What can this bat do that the CF7 can't? aidan
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) and the 2015 DeMarini CF7 BBCOR will both feature very balanced, fully composite designs. The biggest difference is that the CF7 will provide a regular barrel length, while the MAKO will give you the extended barrel length. Either would be a fantastic selection for a BBCOR hitter.
Brandon
What kind of bat is an all around better bat between the DeMarini CF7, Easton MAKO or the Easton MAKO TORQ? I am 5 foot 7 and weigh 168 pounds. zade
All three options you mentioned are top of the line and will be extremely high performing. None of those bats are going to stand out as an overall better design as they are rated to the same BBCOR standard of performance. The bats also will all feature a similar feel in terms of balance and sting prevention. The 2015 Easton MAKO TORQ BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MKT) will have the modified handle that will rotate which is aimed at preventing rollover. If rollover is a problem for you, the TORQ may be the way to go. Other than that, the regular 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) and the 2015 DeMarini CF7 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) will have similar designs and performance.
Patrick
Are the only changes cosmetic between the 2014 and 2015 MAKO models? baller
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) will be very similar in design to the 2014 model and the majority of changes are cosmetic in nature.
Patrick
Why isn't this bat available in a 33 inch 30 ounce? Ron
We currently do not have the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) available in stock in that size. Once it comes into inventory n our warehouse we will offer it for purchase on our site. We do not offer out of stock items for purchase to avoid back order situations.
Patrick
Will this model come in a 33 inch? Doc
Yes, the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) will be available in a 33".
John
I'm 15 year old contact hitter, 5'5 and 120 pounds. I'm debating on getting the MAKO or CF7. Which is the best fit? jay
Both the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) and the DeMarini CF7 are high performance models that would be great options to choose from. The main difference between the two models is that the MAKO will feature an extended barrel design, which is generally preferred by power hitters. The CF7 will feature a D-Fusion handle to eliminate more hand sting and vibration on mishits. Both models are balanced, which is great for contact hitting. Ultimately, the choice will be a matter of brand preference.
Tessa
Which bat is more balanced/lighter feel: the S1 or MAKO? JAW
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) and the S1 both have very balanced and light weight designs. However, the TCT Thermo composite used in the MAKO helps make the bat more balanced and lighter swinging overall.
Jason
What are the differences between the 2014 and 2015 models? Baldy
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) and the 2014 MAKO are the same bat. The only change is the cosmetic look.
Jason
Which bat is over all better: 2015 BBCOR MAKO or the BBCOR RIP-IT AIR Elite? elite collin
That is tough to say. The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) is a newly released model, so we are still getting feedback on the performance and durability. The RIP-IT AIR Elite has traditionally been a high performance model as well. The main difference between the two is that the MAKO features a fully composite design, as well as an extended barrel. The Elite is considered a hybrid, so it has an alloy barrel and a composite handle. Both are great options to choose from, it will truly be a matter of preference.
Tessa
What is the difference in the Mako and the XL1 in the BBCOR bats? hogg
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) and the 2015 Easton XL1 BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15X1) will have some similarities as well as some differences. The MAKO will be balanced while the XL1 will have an end-loaded feel to it. The MAKO uses the TCT composite material that allows it to maintain a light balanced swing weight while allowing the more extended barrel.
Patrick
What is the difference between the 2014 an 2015 models? allstar99
The 2015 Easton MAKO (BB15MK) is going to be the same as the 2014 model besides for the graphics.
Kelby
What size would you recommend for my son? He's 14, 5'10", and 140 lbs. chanceit
Based on his height and weight, we recommend a 32" 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK). For more information on sizing, check out our Bat Coach: http://www.justbats.com/bat-coach/
Tessa
Babe Ruth is now requiring us to have a BBCOR .5 stamp. Is that on this bat? emerson
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) features the .50 BBCOR stamp and is legal for play.
Jason
I am 5'7", 160 lbs, and 13 years old. What size bat should I swing? mike
Based on your height and weight, we suggest a 32" model in the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK).
Jason
I am 5'2", 14 years old and 115 lbs. Should I swing a 31" or 32" bat? lonnie baseball
Based on your height and weight, we recommend a 31" model in the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK).
Jason
Would you recommend the MAKO or Marucci CAT 6? AJ
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) is typically a bat that is better for contact hitters, because of the two-piece balanced design. The Marucci CAT 6 is a great bat for a contact hitter with some power. The stiff one-piece design is ideal for increasing power.
Jason
My son is 58.5" tall and weighs 210 lbs. Would the 32" bat be better for him? andy
Yes, the 31" or 32" 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) would fit him just fine.
Brandon
I am 6 foot 2 and 160 pounds and I am looking for a new BBCOR bat for high school. I've looked at the 2015 Easton XL1 and the 2015 Easton MAKO. I don't know which one would suit me better. Pat12
Both the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) and the 2015 Easton XL1 BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15X1) are nice options. The main difference is in the balance of the bat. The MAKO is balanced and the XL1 is end-loaded. Power hitters tend to prefer a more end-loaded style but that can make swinging the bat slightly more difficult. The MAKO can be used well by all styles of hitter.
Patrick
Which is a better bat to get: the DeMarini CF7 or the Easton MAKO? Matt37
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) and the DeMarini CF7 are very comparable bats. They are both balanced bats with two-piece fully composite designs. Both bats have the BBCOR certification stamp and one will not perform better than the other. It really comes down to personal preference in manufacturer to determine which is best for you.
Jason
Are there any differences in the 2015 MAKO and the 2014 MAKO? James
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) and the 2014 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB14MK) are going to be very similar in terms of overall design and performance. The main differences will be cosmetic in nature.
Patrick
I'm 13 and I play for a highschool freshman baseball team. I'm 5 foot 3 and weigh 103 pounds. I love the feel of the Mako and I usually use a 31 inch bat but I just recently transitioned from a -10 to a BBCOR. My team says the bats I use are too heavy for me. Any ideas on a bat? It doesn't have to be Easton it could be any brand. southridgepride
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) is going to be one of the most balanced BBCOR models available but going from a -10 to a BBCOR bat which has to be a -3 will be a tough transition regardless of the bat you use so it is best to stay with a balanced two-piece design like the MAKO. Base on your height and weight, a 31 inch may be a bit too long though so a bat like the 2015 DeMarini CF7 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) in a 30 inch could save you a bit of weight and give you similar design features.
Patrick
I'm about 5'6", weigh 115 lbs., and am a freshman. I'm trying to decide on 32" 29 oz. or 31" 28 oz. What do you think? Would a CF7 be better for me? JT prospect
Based on your height and weight, our Bat Coach recommends a 30" 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK). Sizing is preferential though, so if you would prefer to go up in size, the 31" 28 oz. bat may be better suited for your size. The Easton MAKO and the DeMarini CF7 are both high performance, top of the line bats from their respective manufacturers. Both are great choices to pick from, ultimately, it will be a matter of brand preference.

I am 13 and need a BBCOR bat. I weigh 125 pounds and I am 5 foot 4. I am deciding between a few bats but mainly have the 2014 XL1 and MAKO in the 2014 or 2015 model in mind. Which would be the better bat for me? Lmart208
The 2014 and 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) are essentially the same design and will perform similarly to one another. Both the MAKO models and the 2015 Easton XL1 BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15X1) are great models. Which one you should choose would come down more to your preference rather than your size. If you like a more end-loaded bat I would go with the XL1. If you like a balanced feel, I would use the MAKO.
Patrick
I've used both the 2015 MAKO and the 2015 XL1. I don't know which to get because of my transition to high school pitching. I like both of them and I have great bat speed. I don't know which to get. Patty
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) will have the lighter, more balanced swing weight compared to the XL1. It will help you succeed versus the newer pitching by keeping your bat speed high.
Brandon
Both the XL1 and the MAKO are great. I have no idea on which one to get. John
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) and the XL1 will both be two-piece fully composite designs. Also, they will both have that longer, more extended barrel. The main difference is that the MAKO will feel more light weight and balanced. It will allow for quicker bat speeds. While the XL1 will feel more barrel heavy and end loaded. Either would be a great choice!
Brandon
Why is the Mako Torq $100 dollars more than the 2015 Mako when they are the same with a rotating handle and a new color? Patrick
The new technology in the handle is what accounts for the difference in price for the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) and the 2015 Easton MAKO TORQ BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MKT).
Patrick
Is there any difference between the 2014 Easton Mako and the 2015 Easton Mako? Nick
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) and the 2014 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB14MK) are very similar in terms of design and performance. The only major differences would be cosmetic in nature.
Patrick
I can't chose between the new Mako or the new XL1, which one is better? baseball4lyfe
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) is an excellent bat. It combines the balanced feel of the Easton S1 with the long barrel and larger sweet spot of the XL1. The XL1 will feel more end loaded compared to the Mako.
Jake
How long is the 2015 Mako's barrel? Jona
the length of the barrel on the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) will vary based on the length of the bat itself and what you consider to be the part of the barrel you are wanting to know about (sweet spot for example). The 2015 model will be almost identical in dimensions to the 2014 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB14MK).
Patrick
I am 5'4", 135 lbs, and 14 years old. I need a bat for freshman baseball. Would you recommend an XL1 or MAKO? zlee baseball
It really depends on what type of hitter you are to determine which bat is best for you. The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) has a balanced swing weight and is a great bat for contact hitters. The XL1 has an end loaded swing weight and is typically best for a power hitter. Based on your height and weight, we recommend a 31" bat.
Jason
i am 5'8" 115lbs and a freshmen in highschool. good average hitter, lot of line drives. is the Mako a good choice or do you recommend another. i only use Easton bats. slick nik
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) will feature a balanced swing weight, which is ideal for line-drive hitters, and a two-piece composite design with plenty of pop. This bat will be very high performing and a great fit for you. Based on your height and weight, I would suggest using the 31" 28 oz. model.
Tom
I'm getting a mako for Christmas but I dont know if I should get the 2015 mako or the 2014 mako what are the differences K
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) and the 2014 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB14MK) are both very similar. Both utilize the TCT Thermo Composite and feature the ConneXion Technology to reduce vibration.
Jake
What is the difference between this years model and last years model technology? hunter
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) and the 2014 MAKO are the same bat. The only change is the cosmetic appearance.
Jason
I am a freshman in high school and weigh 142 lbs and I'm 5'10" do you think i need the 32"/29 oz. MAKO bat? Baseball guy
Yes, according to the JustBats.com bat coach, you should swing a 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) in the 32"/29 oz. size.
Ben
I'm 5'10 and 142 lbs. What size MAKO do you recommend? Ziggyskicks
Based on your height and weight, a 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) should suit you well!
Ben
I am 5 foot 9 and weigh 155 pounds. Should I get a Mako or an XL1? Noahlater
Both the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) and the 2015 Easton XL1 BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15X1) would be nice options. The main difference would be the weighting of the bat. If you prefer an end-loaded model you should go with the XL1 if you like a more balanced design, I would suggest the MAKO.
Patrick
I am 5 feet and 92 pounds. I am 12. Which mako do you recommend for me? 30 inch 20 ounces or 31 inch 22 ounces big barrel? Scich
Based on your height and weight, I would suggest a 30" length. The weight is hard for us to determine since it most based on the player"s strength. If you are a stonger player, I would say it alright to move up 1" or oz. if you feel comfortable.
Kelby
Im looking to get a mako for Christmas. Is the 2015 model worth the extra money instead of getting the 2014 model? reagan baseball
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) and the 2014 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB14MK) are very similar in terms of design and performance. The only major differences would be cosmetic in nature.
Liz
We picked up a MAKO this past fall and my son loves it. Huge power. My question is should he use this bat when its less than say 60 degrees F? If not, what alloy bat is comparable to this bat that he can use until it warms up later in the spring. Thanks! Baseball Dad
That is true that we recommend not using your 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) in temperatures much below 55 degrees. The 2015 Easton S3Z ZCORE is an alloy bat that would be a good option.
Jake
Will using the bat in weather under 55 degrees change the performance? Or will it just make it more likely to dent or break? Patrick
In under 55 degrees the baseball becomes more dense. A heavier ball can damage your 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK). Also, performance can be lowered in colder temperatures.
Brandon
I am a sophmore in high school, weigh 160 and measure 5'7". Which bat do you recommend to use the 2015 MAKO or the 2015 XL1? JohnnyBaseball
That will be a matter of preference. The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) features an extended barrel, similar to the one in the XL1. The main difference between the two is that the MAKO will feature a balanced swing weight, which is generally preferred by contact hitters. The XL1 is end loaded, which is typically preferred by power hitters. Ultimately, it will come down to if you prefer an end loaded bat or a balanced model. Based on your height and weight, we recommend a 32" bat.
Tessa
Will this bat feel just as light through the zone as the 2015 DeMarini Vexxum NVS? Kent Murphy
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) is going to have a light balanced swing weight similar to the Vexxum. It also has an extended barrel for a larger sweet spot.
Jake
What is the difference between the 2015 MAKO and the 2015 XL1? ahunter20
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) is made from the TCT Composite and the 2015 XL1 has the SIC Black Carbon Composite handle and IMX Composite barrel. Also, the XL1 has a longer sweet spot.
Chinyere
How long does it take to break in? White Falcon
For composite bats such as the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) it takes about 150-200 swings.
Liz
Should you use this bat right away in a game or in cold weather? Whute falcon
You can use the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) but it will not perform well until after about 150-200 swings. We also do not recommend using the MAKO in cold weather, as it is more prone to becoming damaged.
Liz
If my son is 5'2", 112 pounds, and 14 years old, what bat do you think he should get? The 2015 MAKO BBCOR, or the 2015 Louisville Slugger 715, and what size? baseball god
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) will feel very light and balanced. It will be fully composite and have an extended barrel length. The Slugger Select 715 BBCOR will have a composite handle and an alloy barrel. It will feel more barrel heavy compared to the MAKO. A 31" 28 oz. is best recommended for his current sizing.
Brandon
What is the difference between this new MAKO and last years MAKO aside from the new graphics? CAAAAAAAARRRERRLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) and the 2014 MAKO are the same bat. They feature the same two-piece composite design, balanced swing weight, and are made out of TCT Thermo composite. The only difference between the bats is the cosmetic appearance.
Jason
I am a 14 year old who hits for power, what bat would be best for me? Dnger6_
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) would be a nice option with a two-piece full composite design with a large sweet spot. Additionally, you could consider the 2015 DeMarini CF7 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) with a similar two-piece full composite design. I am a fan of the D-Fusion handle on the CF7, as it does a great job of largely absorbing any shock and vibration traveling through the barrel of the bat.
Joe
I am 5'6" and roughly 160 lbs. I hit with quite a bit of power. I am debating between the CF7 and the MAKO? Which do you think is most suitable? coop51
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) features a two-piece full composite design with a balanced swing weight. It also has an extremely large sweet spot. The 2015 DeMarini CF7 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) will feature a two-piece full composite design with an extremely well balanced swing weight. We would recommend the MAKO for a power hitter over the CF7.
Joe
I am a power hitter and between the 2015 Easton MAKO and the 915 Prime which would you recommend? Matty
Both of these designs are balanced bats made for contact hitters. But the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) does have an extended barrel like most end-loaded bats.
Frankie
Both of these designs are balanced bats made for contact hitters. But the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) does have an extended barrel like most end-loaded bats.
Frankie
What is the difference besides cost between the 2015 Easton MAKO and the 2015 Easton MAKO TORQ? Johnny
The 2015 Easton MAKO TORQ BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MKT) features a 360 degree rotating handle to help keep your knuckles lined up when swinging. The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) does not have this feature.
Chinyere
I am 14 years old and I am more of a power hitter. I am looking for a bat that can help me elevate my potential but I am confused. Which bat is more suitable for me to help me hit harder and longer? Which one is better, the MAKO drop 3 or the Demarini Voodoo Overlord drop 3? Kawasaki
Both the 2015 DeMarini Voodoo OVERLORD FT BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXVDC) and the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) are nice models. The major difference that would determine which one you should get would be whether you prefer a balanced or an end-loaded feel. The MAKO is balanced while the OVERLORD is end-loaded. The OVERLORD would be usually preferred by more of a power hitter while the MAKO can be used by all types of hitters.
Patrick
For a 14 year old contact hitter, please give me the pros and cons of the 2015 Mako, CF7, and Voodoo Johnny
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) and the DeMarini CF7 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) are both going to be two-piece balanced bats which are great for contact hitters. The DeMarini Voodoo Overlord FT BBCOR Baseball Bat is going to be an end-loaded bat which is best for a power hitter.
Jake
Is the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) slightly end-loaded? Red
No, the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) is going to feature a very well balance swing weight.
Liz
My son is 4'5"and about 77 pounds. What size bat would you reccomend him swinging? Big Daddy
Based on his height and weight, we suggest a 31" model of the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK).
Jason
CF7 or Mako 2015? Collins Tavarus
Both the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) and the 2015 DeMarini CF7 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) are nice models. They are both top of the line two-piece composite models with advanced connection point technology for superior feel. Preference between the two would ultimately come down to brand and style preference. The MAKO has a slightly longer barrel but the CF7 is a little bit more balanced. Overall, they are very similar.
Patrick
My son is 5 foot 2 inches tall and weighs 90 pounds. What size balanced bat would you recommend for him? ham baseball
If you are looking for a BBCOR bat the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) would be a great balanced bat for your son, and I would recommend getting this bat in 29 inches.
Frankie
Which is better, the MAKO Torq or the CF7? chase baseball
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) will feature the same two-piece full composite design as the 2015 Easton MAKO TORQ BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MKT). Those two bats are virtually identical, other than the rotating handle and green cosmetic design on the Torq. The 2015 DeMarini CF7 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) features a two-piece full composite design with an extremely balanced swing weight. Pop is not actually a technical term referring to the performance of the bat. These two models will have very similar performance as they are both BBCOR models. I am a fan of the D-Fusion handle on the CF7, which does a nice job of absorbing the shock and vibration traveling through the bat.
Joe
Would you recommend this bat or the marucci cat 6? I am a 5'9" 170 pound infielder, I have power, but am looking for a great contact bat. I have swung both bats, but cannot tell which has more pop. Nick
Both the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) and the 2015 Marucci CAT 6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (MCBC614) are going to have similar "pop" because they are both under the strict BBCOR .50 regulations. The MAKO is going to be a two piece composite bat with more flex through the zone due to the two piece design. The CAT 6 is a one piece fully alloy bat that will have a stiffer flex due to the one piece design. Both bats would be great choices, but I tend to see contact hitters lean more towards the MAKO.
Tom
What's the difference between the 2015 and 2014 MAKO? Adrian
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) features a two piece full composite design with a large sweet spot and longer barrel taper which creates additional power. The biggest difference between the 2014 and 2015 MAKO will be the cosmetic design.
Joe
My son is 5 foot 5 inches and weighs 133 pounds, what size Mako BBCOR bat do you recommend? ron
Based on his height and weight I would recommend getting the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) in a 31 inch.
Frankie
What is the best 2015 Easton Bat? Mo
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) will feature a two piece full composite design with an enlarged sweet spot and a sharper barrel taper. The MAKO is definitely one of the better models available.
Joe
I'm 5'11" and 155 lbs. I'm in between contact and heavy hitter. Should I get the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR, or 2015 Louisville Slugger Prime 915 BBCOR? Holden Crawford
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) and the Slugger Prime 915 BBCOR are both fully composite bats. They are also very balanced in swing weight. A contact guy or power would succeed with both bats. The major difference between the bats is the MAKO's longer barrel length.
Brandon
My godson is 5'6" and 145 lbs. This is his first year in Babe Ruth. His former bat was an Easton XL1 32/22. What size do you recommend for the MAKO BBCOR BB15MK? Sig
Based on his height and weight, we suggest a 32" 29 oz option in the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK).
Jason
Is this bat USSSA approved? id
This 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) will be BBCOR .50 certified and be legal for high school and collegiate sanctioned play. It will not have the USSSA certification (1.15 BPF).
Ben
Does the 2015 MAKO have more, the same, or less pop than the 2015 XL1? ecbrave17
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) and the XL1 have the same amount of pop. One will not perform better than the other. It really depends on what type of hitter you are to determine which bat will perform the best for you. The MAKO has a balanced swing weight and is typically best for a contact hitter. The XL1 has an end loaded swing weight and is typically best for a power hitter.
Jason
What is the difference between to 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) and the 2014 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB14MK)? Jd
There is no difference between the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) and the 2014 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB14MK) other than color scheme.
Damon
What is the most balanced BBCOR bat on the market? thomas
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) features a large sweet spot and sharp barrel taper that gives it a slightly end loaded swing weight. The 2015 DeMarini CF7 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) and the 2015 Easton S1 BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15S1) are two of the most evenly balanced composite models on the market.
Joe
I am 5 foot 11 and weigh 200 pounds. I hit for contact and power. I hit more gap to gap. Which bat would suit me best; the Easton Mako, Easton XL1, or RIP-IT AIR ELITE? thornumber4
All three options would work for your style of hitting. Which one would be best would be based on which style you personally prefer. The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) and the 2015 RIP-IT AIR Elite BBCOR Baseball Bat (B1503E) are both well balanced for a lighter swing weight. The difference would be that the MAKO has a composite barrel while the AIR Elite has an alloy barrel. The 2015 Easton XL1 BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15X1) will be all composite as well but will have a more barrel heavy or end-loaded feel which would make the bat have a heavier swing weight but could lead to more power if you are able to swing it well.
Patrick
Can you use this bat in cold weather? dope baseball
We would not recommend using the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) or any other composite or alloy model in temperatures below 55 degrees Fahrenheit. In colder temperatures, the baseballs will become much more dense and could possibly damage the bat on impact.
Joe
My son is a small 14 year old contact hitter. He currently has a 31 inch CF7 BBCOR. This bat has nice pop but will the BB15MK be a more balanced bat for a contact hitter? Or is the difference worth the cost of a new bat? Rocket
I would not say that the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) would be more balanced than the 2015 DeMarini CF7 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC). They will have a similar balance, feel and performance.
Patrick
How durable is the 2015 Easton Mako BB15MK? It is a very pricey bat and I was just wondering will it hold up for 3-4 years of high school ball? Turbo
There is no way to predict the amount of time a bat like the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) will last just given the countless numbers of ways and situations the bats can be used in. It will be above average in terms of durability but given the nature of the games, accidents can happen. It is covered under a 12 month warranty for damage.
Patrick
Would this be a good bat for a player who is a mixture between power and contact hitting? indiana_nitro baseball
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) is a two piece fully composite bat with a balanced swing weight that would be a good option for any hitter.
Tom
Is this the same as the 2014 model? manny rodriguez
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) and the Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB14MK) will feature identical designs. There is a slightly different cosmetic look between the 2014 and 2015 models. Both bats feature identical sweet spots, swing weight and performance.
Joe
I am 6 foot and weigh 180 lbs. What bat would you recommend for a power and contact hitter? gavin baseball
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) is an excellent bat for any type of hitter. It would be a great option for a power hitter or a contact hitter. Based on your height and weight, we suggest a 33" model.
Jason
My grandson is 6 foot 4 and weighs 295 pounds and is 14 years old. What length bat would you suggest he use? The school has this bat and he said he hit lasers with it. He is a home run hitter, can this bat hit home runs? Spoiled
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) is a great model that is definitely capable of performing at a high level for a power hitting player. Based on his height and weight, we would suggest a 34 inch length.
Patrick
What is the difference between the 2015 model and the 2014 model of these bats? brett
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) are essentially the same bat. The only real difference is the cosmetic design between the two.
Tom
I am 6 foot 2 and weigh 155 pounds. What size do you recommend? aj
Based on height and weight, I would recommend a 33 inch size of the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK).
Patrick
I am 5'10" 180 lbs. What size bat should I use? pepe_5
For a player with your height and weight we would recommend a 32" in the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK).
John
How long is the break in period for this bat? I've hit about 100 balls but I don't think its broken in yet. hr30
For the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) we recommend around 150 swings off the tee or soft toss. You will need to make sure you rotate the barrel of the bat a quarter of an inch every 15-20 swings to fully break-in the composite fibers.
John
My son is 13yrs old 5'2" 110 lbs. What size bat should he use? DW11
We would recommend the 31" in the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) for your son.
John
How do you break it in? thomashitsdingers
For the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat: BB15MK and all composite bats we recommend about 150 to 200 swings off a tee. Start at about 50% and work your way up with each swing. Also, we recommend that you rotate the bat about a quarter of an inch after each swing to break in all sides of the bat.
Cooper
Does the swing weight of this bat compare to the S1? And does this bat perform any better? G
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) and the 2015 Easton S1 BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15S1) have similar balanced swing weights as well as similar peak performances since they are both two piece composites. The main difference is the larger sweet spot on the MAKO due to it's extended barrel.
Allison
Which would be a better faster swinging bat, the Easton MAKO or the Easton S1? kaden
It would be very close between the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) and the 2015 Easton S1 BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15S1) but the S1 would be a bit more balanced for a little bit lighter swing. The MAKO would have a more extended barrel for a larger sweet spot.
Patrick
What size do you recomend for a 14 year old that is 5'9" and weighs 125 lbs? Kdog
For a player of your age and size, our bat coach would recommend the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) in a 32" 29 oz. model.
Joe
Can this bat be used in college play? GusBus
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) is BBCOR certified which makes it legal for high school and collegiate play.
Patrick
What bat size should I get if I'm 13 years old? I am 5'1" and weigh 100 lbs? Long shot 2
Based on your height and weight, we suggest the 31" model in the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK).
Jason
What size should I get for a 14 year old that is 5'9" and 150 lbs? behrrr
Based on the players height and weight, we suggest a 32" model in the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK).
Jason
I am 14 years old, 5'3", and 100 pounds. What size bat should I get? Also is the MAKO fit for contact hitters also? J Dog
Based on your height and weight, a 30" model is recommended. Unfortunately, the shortest length that the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) is manufactured in is a 31" 28 oz. size. Sizing is preferential, so if you felt comfortably jumping up to a 31" bat, that is definitely something to take into consideration. The MAKO features an extremely balanced swing weight as well as an extended barrel, so it can actually be used comfortably by both power and contact hitters. The balanced swing weight makes it an easy choice to work on bat speed and bat control.
Tessa
My son is 13 years old 5'2 and 102 lbs. He is contact hitter so is a Mako 31/28 a good choice or would XL1 32/27 be better? mike j
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat: BB15MK is going to be the better choice for you due to the balanced feel of the bat which is usually recommended for contact hitters. The Easton XL1 has an end loaded feel to it so it is recommended for a power hitter.
Cooper
I am a 5 foot 8 150 pound 15 year old. I am not seeming to get hits anymore like when I used my 31 inch DeMarnini VXVDC in my 9th grade season. Now that I am playing varsity this year I started using a 32 inch size like the other players but now I am struggling to get hits with a 32 inch bat. Baseball guy
I would recommend working more with the bigger 32 inch 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) to get your muscle memory adjusted to the heavier bat. Any time you adjust in weight and face higher level pitching than what you had previously, it can be a struggle.
Patrick
My son is 15 and is 6'1". He is currently using a 32" 29 oz. bat. Should he go bigger since this bat is lighter than what he is currently using? curtis
A 32" or 33" 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat: (BB15MK) would be my recommendation for your son. The extended barrel on the MAKO does give the bat a little bit of and end-load feel so you will want to keep that in mind when deciding on the weight.
Jake
What are the differences between this bat and the S1? Kent Murphy
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat: BB15MK uses a different type of composite and has a slightly larger sweet spot than the Easton S1. Other than those two differences they are going to be very similar.
Cooper
How do I break-in my Mako? garett
We would recommend about 100-150 swings of soft toss or tee work to break-in your 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) making sure to rotate the barrel a quarter turn per hit. We would advise to start out about 50% power and work your way up from there.
Patrick
I'm 14 years old, 5'8" and weigh 125 lbs. What size bat should I use? ty
Based on your height and weight, we suggest a 31" model in the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK).
Jason
What bat do you think I should use if I am 5 foot 8 and weigh 165 pounds? Baseballife
It would not be that their is a specific bat for every player of your size. The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) would be a very nice choice and we would recommend a 32 inch size.
Patrick
I am 12 years old. I am 5 foot and 90 pounds. What size bat should I use? Logan
Based on height and weight, we woukld suggest a 30 inch BBCOR certified bat. Unfortunately, the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) does not come in that size.
Patrick
I am 5'9 140 and am a contact hitter. Do you think the 2015 MAKO bat is right for me, if so what size would you recommend? G
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat: BB15MK would be a very good option for a contact hitter because of it's balanced feel. As for the size, I would recommend either a 32" or 33".
Cooper
Is there a difference between the 2015 MAKO and the 2014 MAKO? If so, is it all that noticeable? Will
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) and the 2014 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB14MK) are pretty much identical with the only real difference being the paint scheme.
Jake
Would this be a better option for a contact hitter or would the CF7 be better? Baseball Guy
Both the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) and the 2015 DeMarini CF7 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) are both excellent options for a contact hitter. Either one would work well and the preference would come down to brand or style preference.
Patrick
About how long does it take to break in this bat? Baseball player
We recommend about 150-200 swings off a soft toss or a tee to get the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) broken in properly. You want to make sure you rotate the barrel of the bat 1/4" every swing to ensure an even break in. Start at about 40% of your power and move closer to 100% the closer to 200 swings that you get.
Tessa
What wood bat is the most similar in weight distribution and balance to the 2015 Easton MAKO? B ball freak
The model that would be most similar to the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) would be the Easton MAKO Composite Wood Baseball Bat (MAKO) Comp Adult. That bat is actually profiled to be as close to the MAKO as possible.
Tessa
Are there any other wood bats besides the Easton Mako composite wood bat, that would have a similar weight distribution and balance to the 2015 Easton Mako bbcor? You guys are all out of the 33 inch Easton Mako composite wood bat. B ball freak
The M110 turn model style has a similar feel to a balanced BBCOR style bat like the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK). A bat like the Brett Bros. Maple/Bamboo Wood Baseball Bat (MB110).
Patrick
I'm 12 years old, 5 foot 7, and 125 lbs. should I get the 32 29? Joseph Travereso
Yes. If you grow much more or put on some weight you will be ready for a 33"
Damon
I am 12 years old, 5 foot 7 inches and 112 pounds. What size of bat should I get? Albi
Based on your height and weight I recommend getting the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) in a 30 inch.
Frankie
I have seen a MAKO Loaded BB15MKL but can't find any information on it. What is different from the standard Mako BB15MK model? tdog
I am not familiar with an end-loaded model of the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK). That is not a model that Easton lists in their 2015 line. The 2015 Easton XL1 BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15X1) would be an end-loaded two-piece composite model that Easton does have.
Patrick
I am 5'11" and 200lbs. I am mostly contact but can hit a ball deep. Do you recommend this bat? johnson
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) would be a great option for you. The balanced swing weight will help you keep a quick swing while the extended barrel gives you a better chance of squaring the ball up and driving it.
John
I am 4'6" and 72 pounds. I can swing a 31 inch. I just don't know which one would be good for me. What size should I get? johnnybaseball
Based on your height and weight, we suggest a 30" bat. However, a 31" model in the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) can work for you as well if you know you can swing it. The MAKO is a very light swinging and balanced bat.
Jason
I am 5'3" about 120 pounds and this is my first season with a BBCOR bat (14u). I was thinking the 32/39 but not sure because the MAKO seems lighter than most other BBCOR bats. What size do you suggest? Andrew Mckague
Based on your height and weight, we suggest a 31" model. However, a 32" model in the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) will work as well because it is a very balanced bat.
Jason
I am 5 foot 4 inches, 140 pounds. What size would be good for me? collin
Based on your height and weight I recommend getting the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) in a 31 inch.
Frankie

Based on height and weight, we would recommend a 32 inch size of the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK).
Patrick
I am 13 years of age, 5'10" and weigh about 133 lbs. I hit for power. I have hit better with a 32" this season, but should I move up to 33"? Ryan Drake
Based on your height and weight, we suggest a 32" model in the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK). You are not too far away from a 33" model being the suggested size. The move up is up to you, but at this time it is probably best to stick with a 32" model especially since you are swinging better with that size.
Jason
What has more pop the Mako or the CF7 ? POW
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) and the DeMarini CF7 are both going to be high quality bats, with high performance rates. I would not say one has more pop than the other.
Frankie
I am 6 foot and 178 pounds. What size do you recommend? j
Based on your height and weight I recommend getting the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) in a 33 inch.
Frankie
My son is 13 years old and is going into Babe Ruth league. He is 5 foot 6 and weighs about 115 pounds. What size bat do you recommend? JJ
Based on height and weight, we would recommend a 31 inch size of a BBCOR bat like the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK). Unfortunately, that bat is not currently available in that size.
Patrick
Which has a lighter swing weight: the Mako, the S1, or the CF7? sfbball
The 2015 Easton S1 BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15S1) and the 2015 DeMarini CF7 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) will have a slightly lighter swing weight than the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK). Between those two, there would not be a noticeable difference in swing weight. All three are balanced and light models but the S1 and CF7 have a bit lighter feel.
Patrick
How does the 2015 Mako compare to the 2015 Mako Torq, and which would you recommend for a contact hitter? Craig
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) and the 2015 Easton MAKO TORQ BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MKT) compare well in terms of performance. The only real difference is the handle. Both are good for contact style hitters.
Patrick
What is the expected lifespan of these bats? josh
With proper care, the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR (BB15MK) could last 2 or more seasons. However, the lifespan of a bat can not be guaranteed.
Marcus
I am 5'9",160 pounds and I'm going to be a freshman next year. What length should I get? Buckethead
Given your height and weight, I would recommend going with a 32" of the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR (BB15MK).

Based on your height and weight, we suggest a 32" model in the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK).
Jason
How does this bat compare to a Rawlings Trio end-loaded bat? Is it worth the extra money for the Mako? Adam S
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) is much more balanced than the Rawlings TRIO End-Load BBCOR Baseball Bat (BBTRI3) which gives it a lighter swing weight. Whether it would be worth an extra price would be based on your preferences.
Patrick
Is it true that if an Easton bat dents or there is somthing wrong with it, you can send it back to Easton for a full refund? b1 seminoles dude
Easton bats like the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) are covered under a 12 month warranty for damage but the warranty covers a replacement of the bat rather than a refund of your purchase. Given the nature of the game, things can happen to the bats so they are able to be replaced within that warranty process but are not able to be refunded after use.
Patrick
What is the correct length? Nick T.
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) comes in a 32", 33" or 34" and all are drop 3's in accordance to BBCOR standards. The correct length will really depend on your size and personal preference. I would suggest inputting your information into our bat coach and go from there. The following link will take you through the bat coach step-by-step. http://www.justbats.com/bat-coach/
Cameron
I am 5'7" and 130 pounds. Is the 2015 MAKO a better choice than the 2015 CF7 for contact hitters? Big-T
Given that they are both well balanced, two-piece all composite bats, both the DeMarini CF7 and 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat: BB15MK would be great bats for a contact style hitter.
Marcus
Should I get this or the Rawlings 5150? Hbomb
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) and the 2016 Rawlings 5150 BBCOR Baseball Bat (BBR53) are both nice options. The preference would come down to which style you prefer. The MAKO is a two-piece composite design while the 5150 is a single-piece alloy.
Patrick
My son is 10 and will be 11 in May. Is a Mako 31/21 too big for next season? He is currently swinging a Louisville Catalyst 30/18 and is doesn't have the pop of a Mako. Bubs
The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) in a 31/21 could be too big for your son. It really depends on his height/weight and physical strength. I would suggest inputting your son's height/weight into our bat coach for more specific input on sizing: http://www.justbats.com/bat-coach/
Cameron

I have seen this same bat in other internet sites for $200. Prices shouldn't be so high and abusive. If this bat on some point has discount, can I please be informed? Anthony
The Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat: BB15MK is a discontinued model and has since been dropped in price. We do offer price matching to our customers. We have to be able to verify that the retailer has the item in the size you are needing, in stock and the price they are selling it for is not at or below the cost we paid for the bat. As for notifying customers when certain bats go on sale, we would advise signing up for our emails as this will be the best way of learning of current sales on the site.

Do you think that the Easton MAKO is as good as the DeMarini CF8? GOAT
Although the initial reviews at JustBats haven't been overwhelming for this Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK), it will be a great composite bat that will compete alongside the MAKO in regard to performance.

Would you recommend this bat, a DeMarini Voodoo, or a DeMarini CF7 to a 6'0" 177 lbs freshman with a lot of bat speed? I am a 50/50 power and contact hitter, and I prefer a bat to be very slightly end-loaded. I also prefer the bat to have a large sweet spot. Which of these bats is the best for me? dinger
Based on your height and weight, we suggest a 33" bat. The Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat: BB15MK, DeMarini CF7, and DeMarini Voodoo would all be excellent options for the type of hitter you are. However, if you prefer a slightly end loaded bat then the DeMarini Voodoo is the better option for you.
