Pros: great pop out of the package. Anxious to see what this bat can do when its broke in.

Cons: white gets dirty very quickly, -8 is a little heavier bat but excited to see how much stronger it will make my daughter

Pros: Hot right out of wrapper, Bought this bat for my daughter and she has been hitting bombs with it.. I've taken a few cuts with it and it feels great.. good pop and nice sweet spot.

Cons: no cons... do some research before you buy and know the difference in drop to length ratios.

Cons: 33" drop -8 was actually -7.4 The bat actually weighed 25.6oz. Definitely a heavier swing weight

Pros: Every coach my 14 year old daughter played for told her this bat was too heavy for her. She hit .508 for 4 different coaches (127 official ABs) and had more XBH last year than in all previous years combined. The pop off this bat is excellent. Liked the bat so much I bought a second one for my 16 year old, who is also finding great success with this bat. Would highly recommend this bat.

Cons: Takes a little time to get used to the increased weight.

While the 2015 Easton MAKO -8 Fastpitch Softball Bat (FP15MK8) is technically a balanced design, the heavier -8 drop weight does give it a heavier feel than most players are used to which cause it to have an end-loaded feel compared to lighter models like a -10 which are more common. The -8 MAKO is typically suggested for bigger stronger power hitter style players.

No, unfortunately the Easton MAKO -8 Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP15MK8 is a drop -8. Easton does not make the MAKO line in a drop 13. Easton currently only offers the Easton Alpha Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP13AL in a drop -13.
