Absolute best single wall aluminum bat L.V. player

Pros: This bat rocks. I've been using an UW for a couple of seasons and have now been using this guy for about a month or so and the difference is striking. The ball rockets off the bat and I'd say I've been getting roughly 10-15 yards more distance. I'm in a single wall aluminum league and of the bats I've used, this is head's and shoulders above the rest. I was looking at this and the L9.0 and in the end it came down to the grip and feel. I prefer the more balanced bat over the end load and I'm still able to crush the ball with it. You'll be happy if you buy this bat

Cons: None really that I can see yet.

Greeni

Pros: You have to swing something in a single wall league.

Cons: No pop (We have about 100 hits on it now) Was supposed to be the replacement for the Steel, except i can hit it farther with my broken steel

Well balanced single wall one piece! JK player

Pros: Doesn't require break in time. Incredibly balanced Swings light for the weight. I am swinging a 30 ounce and typically swing a 28 ounce. Whole team wants to use it! High degree of bat control with the balanced design - opposite field shots with pop! Consistently hitting balls out 270+ in single wall league. if you have power it will add to it. Large sweet spot - long barrel Handle is not too thin like some bats providing a good feel and comfortable grip in the hands.

Cons: Expensive but worth it.

Disappointed Jared player

Pros: The bat feels and looks good in your hands.

Cons: Read in a number of places that this bat was supposed to be the next big thing in single-walls, it was even said it would be the new DeMarini Steel in terms of performance. So like many others I sprung for it, dropped a significant amount of dough, and have found myself more than disappointed. The sweet spot is small contrary to the hype, and even when you do find it the ball just doesn't fly like the product write-ups would have you believe. Perhaps it needs to be broken in more, but it's definitely seen at least 100 balls, so I don't see that being the case. On a whole, the bat isn't terrible. But it's just not worth $200.00. Performance wise I'd put it on the level of Easton's SV12, which is at best a $75.00 bat that's good for the single's hitter. If I had paid that for the Anderson Flex, I'd feel content.

Anderson Flex S.M player

Pros: Good feel, looks good.

Cons: If you don't have a strong swing you are going to have trouble with this bat. The ball makes a ping when it comes off of the barrel instead of a thump. Can be hard to work in if you are the only one swinging it. My team has 4 guys using it and it still isn't broken in after 1 month of playing.

Horrible dennis ace player

Pros: nicely balanced

Cons: this bat stinks. The ball goes nowhere off it. I wish demarini still made the 375.

Boot

Pros: I would actually give it 4.5 stars, but I round up since it wouldn't let me half star. I bought a used one in 28 oz that had been played half a season. The first night with it I smacked one out in straight left and hit the center field fence with another. I'm now trying to get another lightly used one in 30 because the 28 feels really light (I just picked up an Easton Raw Power L9.0, and it's a 26 with 1 oz end load and it feels heavier). It's a one piece alloy bat, so of course it's going to stink compared to composites, but if you have a good swing and can find the sweet spot, and are in an all metal league, this is one of the best out there. I have an ignite SP in 27 also, and I like the sound of this one better and feel like this one also has a slightly bigger sweet spot than the ignite.

Cons: It's a one piece Alloy bat...

Extremely Disappointed Abdul-Haqq Khalifah player

Pros: it hasn't dented at all unlike other Anderson bats!

Cons: Very little pop in the bat. Anderson Ignite was way better in this department and cheaper but is discontinued. I'm wondering whether or not this bat being made out of harder material is counterproductive for some reason which was opposite of my assumption when I purchased it.

Pros: Bat looks good

Cons: this stinks! It's the biggest piece of junk out there and it's pricey. It was supposed to be better than the demarini raw it it's not even close. Don't waste your money.

Competative Coed Dave player

Pros: replaced my flattened easton scandium 30oz this year with the anderson flex 30. the bat is incredibly smooth. great contact, perfect for placement. if you are not swinging for power, great bat

Cons: does not have the same pop as some cheaper bats. i do not swing for power but others on my team that use it do. and preferred other bats for power.

not worth it M dean s player

Pros: trade it in right away when you dont like it....don't know what happened to anderson but they need to go back to drawing board

Cons: very very light got a 28oz and it felt like a 20oz i traded it back for a 30oz and that still feels like a 26oz. in 30 swings it was terrible for me the bat has no pop sounds terrible coming off bat i have a 24oz worth amp( paid $25. for) practice throw bat that hits it harder and further, waste of money .....come on anderson

1 1 player

Pros: Originally ordered the 2016 Flex. It was out of stock, so they sent rhe 2017. Which was cool of the company and appreciated. Bat looks good and swings smooth (30oz). Connects well with the ball. Its a single's, maybe double's (bad infielders), bat.

Cons: Break in time: TBD (3 games and @ 150-200 swings on a batting tee). Very little speed coming off the bat, even from extremely good power hitters. The feel/sound from contact (great) and ball speed (slow) leaving the bat do not match. Am going hit @ 100-150 more balls from a tee and 1-3 trips to the cage before using it again during a game. Typically like Anderson bats, and the customer service. They are a good company. Will give contine to give it a shot for the next two weeks. Hopefully it it improves or am going to get burned in buying a new bat.

Yes the 2015 Anderson Flex Slow Pitch Softball Bat (SP15FLEX) has single wall Aerospace Alloy.
Tom
How does the pop on this bat compare to the Ultimate Weapon, the Demarini Steel, or the Easton L 9.0? I have been considering each. I'm more of a long ball hitter and the Ultimate Weapon I've been using has lacked pop. Johnny Baseball
The 2015 Anderson Flex Slow Pitch Softball Bat (SP15FLEX) will have great performance. The one-piece design will give it a stiffer feel. It will be similar to the L 9.0, Steel, and Ultimate Weapon but should have better pop.
Brandon
Does it have the ASA 2004 certification stamp on it? Joe Bagodonuts
The 2015 Anderson Flex Slow Pitch Softball Bat (SP15FLEX) features the new ASA stamp. The new ASA stamp does not have a year mark on it. The ASA stamp was changed in 2013.

About the Brand

A High-Tech Engineer, a Sales Manager for a chemical company, and a Professional Yacht Racer with a background in mechanical engineering are not likely to have much in common. But they did, and still do. You guessed it…SOFTBALL.

Our passion for “Diamond” sports goes back many years, but it was about 10 years ago that we started manufacturing and private labeling our bats for other companies. In 1999, Steven Anderson designed a new multi-wall high-performance bat that featured our patented “Power Arch” technology. After thorough testing, it was ready for the company that we designed it for, but they were going through a transition period and were not ready to move on it.

Here was the bummer, our team was counting on using these bats in a big tournament that was just a month away and we could not put their graphics on the bats until the deal between the two of us was inked.

Steven offered a solution … they are already certified by the governing bodies so why don’t we put our own graphics on them and use them in the tourney. What a great idea and that is exactly what we did.

I was driving to the plant the next morning wearing my championship “T” shirt and had no idea that when I arrived at 6:30 am that the message machine would be filled and the phones would be ringing. The messages and the calls were all basically the same … “How do I get my hands on one of those new Anderson Techwraps”?

That is how it started, and since then we have released the FlexTech, FastTech, RocketTech, TechZilla, Pyrotech, and we are not done.

Let me tell you a little secret……THE BEST IS YET TO COME…GO DEEP, GO VERY VERY DEEP
