Pros: Amazing pop and feel. Feels like you're swinging nothing. Bat looks sick as well. Good price, swung and felt better with Velo than I did Trio.
Cons: None
Pros: The New Seamless Cap ! This bat a great sound. Every hit sounds hard regardless of the hit.
Cons: none
Pros: This bat has great pop and it's extremely easy to hit the ball right on the sweet spot. The bat has a good sound to it and when you hit the ball it jumps off the bat. This bat also seems like it wont be breaking anytime soon, it has a nice sturdy feel to it.
Cons: None
Pros: feels really great and hit like a composite bat eney ball u hit is like a shot even a foul ball
Cons: none
Pros: good pop, great grip,
Cons: the bat feels so bad swinging, the sound of the ball off the bat is terrible. worst bat ive ever bought.
Pros: this bat has amazing pop, large sweet spot, couldn't ask for anything better.
Cons: super loud in cages so teammates never shut up, when you hit it on the end it feels like a wood bat would
Pros: Velo is the way to go. Out of every bat I have used this is my favorite. It has amazing pop even in cold weather. It has an amazing feel unlike other bats, I feel like other bats now are very "clunky". What I mean is other bats unless you hit it on the sweet spot aren't as responding as the Velo. I have hit multiple homeruns and gap shots with this bat. It also is the most balanced bat I have ever swung.
Cons: Grip is nice but has ripped.
Pros: this bat has been amazing in my first year of high school ball. i had never used -3 until this year because i could use senior league. this bAt feel light in your hands and has great balance. pop in insane on this bat that is meant to crush.
Cons: vibration a little but rarely
Pros: Has great pop. Sounds great and it feels great when you hit the ball. When you hit the sweet spot you don't even feel the ball touch the bat. The ball explodes off the bat. It looks great and feels great. Probably the best bat I've ever used.
Cons: The grip is starting to come off.
Pros: This bat has crazy pop and an a sweet grip. It's also super light, so it's great for any type of hitter. It really gives you that *ping* that we have all love.
Cons: The paint chips easily, but that's about it.
Pros: i have this years and last years velo and they are absolutely sick. i love the loud ping and pop that this bat bas. it has a great swing weight that is UNMATCHED. it just has a great feel in my hands and i can honestly say i love these bats. if you put a good swing on a ball with any bat its gonna go, so get a bat that suits your personal needs and focus on ur swing
Cons: Grip, some people like it but i just put a Lizard Skin bat grip on all my bats, which i highly recommend
Pros: Good pop, good feel
Cons: 2013 was better
Pros: My son is 16 and is 5-11 and weighs 165 lbs. He Velo is 33/30. He love this bat. He has tried different bats - Voodoo, CF5, Easton S2, and other bats from his teammates. He says that the Velo has the lightest swing weight. My son has a very strong core and as such, he has a very fast swing. With the Velo, his swing is faster. He wants the same bat next year. He'll keep his current one for batting cages and use the new one for BP to keep the number of hits down. Bottom line is, you can spend more money on the Mako or CF6 or XL1 or others. However, this one-piece bat is the way to go. The bat is incredibly balanced.
Cons: It's a one piece bat so it will sting a bit more than two-piece or composite bat.
Pros: I've used this bat for an entire High School and summer league season and it still has as much pop as it did from day 1. Definitely will be getting the 2015 model for my senior year.
Cons: none at all
Pros: super balanced, great pop and feels like your swinging a feather. Started using it and got instant results.
Cons: off the end of the bat it may sting your hands but baseball players got to be tough.
Pros: Has great feel and balance, I can generate great bat speed. Its very durable, was used through entire high school season by 5+ starters for BP and games and still had pop until our final playoff game. Enormous sweet spot excellent bat for contact hitters and still has great pop for gap and pull side power hitters
Cons: The grip started peeling midway through the season at the knob end after heavy use... but who buys a bat for the grip..
Pros: I used the 2013 and loved it. I hit off my senior friend amazingly. I am no dought getting the 2015 when it gets out.
Cons: not much
Pros: This bat has an amazing sweet spot. The ball jumps off the barrel and there is little to no vibration on off centered hits. The sound is just incredible and reminds me of the days of BESR. With a price like this I should have bought two.
Cons: Zero
Pros: Has great pop and good grip
Cons: Loud in cages
Pros: -Loud alloy "ping" feels like old besr bats -INSANE POP -bigger barrel/sweet spot than 2013 model -same bat as 2015 velo(excluding paint job), but lower price!
Cons: -slippery grip(use pine tar/tigerstick)
Pros: I used this bat last year, and loved it. It's very balanced. I made the mistake of purchasing a MAKO this year, and I regret it. I'm going back to the VELO. That's my personal preference, but I feel like the VELO has a bigger sweet spot. Also, I guess I'm partial to alloy BBCOR bats. Seems like the alloy BBCORs preform a little better than the composites. Again, just my opinion.
Cons: Not a huge fan of the grip, but I always replace stock grips.
Pros: Bought this bat for son. He is 15 years old 5'10" and weighs 185lbs. Got him the 34" 31oz. He likes it a llot. Bat has a lot of pop. Is very light for a bbcor. He is been using it for high school tryouts. Now he can't wait for the season to start. God willing he is confident that he and his team are gonna have a very good season.
Cons: None
Pros: This bat is the best bat i have ever had and its pop is amazing.
Cons: The grip is not to good
Pros: Ball absolutely flies off the bat. Very Very balanced bat. Teammates can't keep their hands off of it!
Cons: Hurts a lot when hitting off the end (but don't all bats). Mine sadly just cracked after only having it for a few months! Will be using my warranty very soon!
Pros: shipped fast
Cons: sound... pop is ehh small sweet spot lots of vibration
Pros: good pop through first months hitting
Cons: After a couple months the bat starts to loose all of its pop. Whit that type of money buy a different bat!!!
Pros: this bat has great pop and it is really easy to hit the ball on the sweet spot, and it is really balanced so it is easy to get your hands through the zone on those inside pitches.
Cons: none
Pros: great pop. love the grip
Cons: not a huge fan of composite endcap
Pros: Swings good and has great pop
Cons: It's a 1 piece
Pros: Hands down best bat i've ever owned.
Cons: nothing
Pros: good grip even weight
Cons: none
Pros: 100% pop, easy swing more power
Cons: None
Pros: I've swung everything from easton to demarini to marucci, but this bat has the lightest swing i've ever felt before, with amazing pop and power to go with it. Bottom line is the faster your swing, the harder you will hit the ball. The bat is so light it will allow you to catch up to faster pitching, as well as have great control throughout the swing. If you chase a bad pitch, say a low breaking ball that dips out of the zone, you will often be able to at least foul it off because of how light this bat is, something that heavier and slower bats would whiff right over. I got the bat a year or so ago, and it has lost no "pop" and is not wearing out. I also have a team mate going division 1 whose had the bat almost 2 1/2 years and he's still using it like its brand new.
Cons: If you hit the ball off the handle or cap its gonna sting like the wrath of satan.
Pros: This was my first -3 bat. I've had this bat for 2 years and it still has great pop, good grip (I use gloves), has great bat speed and I can hit some Dingers with it like crazy and I hit some hard line drives with it to. Just all around a great bat!!
Cons: There is nothing bad about it. I mean If the bat grip comes off I would put on lizard grip.

About the Brand
Rawlings is a major manufacturer of competitive team sports equipment and apparel for baseball, basketball, and football, as well as licensed MLB, NFL, and NCAA retail products. Rawlings is a major supplier to professional, collegiate, interscholastic, and amateur organizations worldwide, including the Official Baseball Supplier to Major League Baseball.
The first real innovation in glove making occurred in 1912 when Rawlings Sporting Goods Company introduced the "Sure Catch" glove, which was "endorsed by leading players all over the country." The Sure Catch was a one-piece glove with sewn-in finger channels and looked better suited for a duck's foot than a man's hand. Catchers' mitts used at the time were large and bulky with a single leather thong passing for a web.
In 1920, Bill Doak, a journeyman pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals, approached Rawlings with an idea for improving the baseball glove from a mere protective device to a genuine aid in fielding. The "Bill Doak" model was so revolutionary that it stayed in Rawlings' line until 1953. Its key feature was a multi-thong web laced into the first finger and thumb, which created for the first time in baseball's young life, a natural pocket.
In 1925, Rawlings unveiled a three-fingered fielder's glove, and ten years later improved the Bill Doak model with a two-piece leather web. At the same time, the "T" web became a rage for first basemen's mitts. The pocket underwent a pronounced change in 1941 when the Trapper Mitt, also known as the Claw, appeared. The "Deep Well" pocket was so unique that Rawlings quickly patented it. The design was improved in 1950 by adding a leather piece across the top. Another significant creation occurred in 1948 with the three-fingered Playmaker. A five-fingered fielder's model, with all fingers laced together, provided greater pocket control.
The six-fingered Trap-Eze evolved in the 1960's. In more recent years, Rawlings produced the Fastback design, which gives a glove a snugger fit, greater extension, and overall control. The Holdster is a slot through which a finger can be extended for additional protection from impacts on the pocket. Then, there is the Edge-U-Cated Heel with its extended U-shaped lacing and the Pro H Web and much-copied Basket Web.
Some of Rawlings's more recent glove innovations also include the unique Spin-Stopper design which reduces ball spin when the ball hits the glove, and the Cantilever glove design feature that provides a cushioned area between the hand and the glove's palm area. In all, Rawlings has produced and patented more functionally innovative glove features and designs than that of any other glove manufacturer. The result is that the modern baseball glove is much larger, more comfortable, better padded, and made to last far longer than its ancestors. It is not uncommon to see today's Major League players wearing the same Rawlings glove they wore during their college playing days. In fact, Rawlings is the #1 glove in the major leagues. Rawlings maintains about 65 models of baseball and softball mitts and gloves in its line. The prototypes of virtually all of them have been field-tested by professionals before entering a sporting goods dealer's inventory.
