What is the differences between: 2012 Louisville Slugger TPX Z-1000: SL12Z and the 2014 Louisville Slugger Z-2000: SBZ214.UB. Are both ASA approved ? Is the Z-1000 better than Z-2000?
There were no changes made to the 2014 Louisville Slugger Z-2000 Balanced: SBZ214-UB Slow Pitch. There are four versions of the Z-2000. There are two that are USSSA approved and are available in a balanced and end loaded. The other two are ASA approved and are also available in a balanced and end loaded. The2014 Louisville Slugger Z-2000 Balanced: SBZ214-UB Slow Pitch is not ASA approved.
Whats different between this bat and last year's Z-2000?
Aside from color scheme, no major changes have been made between the 2013 Z-2000 Balanced: SB13ZB and the 2014 Louisville Slugger Z-2000 Balanced: SBZ214-UB Slow Pitch model.
Is this bat approved for ASA?
The 2014 Louisville Slugger Z-2000 Balanced: SBZ214-UB Slow Pitch bat is not approved for ASA play. Louisville Slugger is going to produce an ASA approved model, and we expect to carry it. Unfortunately, I do not have a set arrival date for that model.
