Pros:  This bat has the most pop of any bat I have used. It feels in between the s1 and the xl1.

Cons:  My whole team wants to use it.

“Mako has pop, but XL1 has more”

Pros:  The Mako feels more end loaded like the XL1. It virtually feels just like the XL1 but 1 ounce lighter. When my son hit both the Mako and XL1 on the sweet spot, the XL1 flew farther. My recommendation is that if you are strong enough to swing the XL1, get the XL1. If you need your bat a little lighter get the Mako or XL2 or XL3 to save some dough. If you need more swing speed, stick to the S Series.

Cons:  None. Great bat for the person that can't quite swing the XL1 but the S series is too light for.

My 11 year old is tiny. He is 4 foot 4 and weighs 65 pounds. How can I tell what size and type of bat to get him?

Based on his height and weight, we would suggest a 28 inch bat for your son. The type would be based more on his style of play and what you are looking for in terms of feel and durability but the 2014 Easton MAKO Youth Baseball Bat (YB14MK) is a top of the line model that performs very well.

What is the difference between the -11 and -10 MAKO?

The 2014 Easton MAKO Youth Baseball Bat (YB14MK) will be a -11. It will be a Youth bat and have the small 2 1/4" barrel diameter. The -10 MAKO will be a Senior League bat. Not only will it one oz. heavier, but it will feature a big barrel. The barrel diameter will be 2 5/8".

I am 5'7 and 160 pounds. Should I buy a MAKO?

Without knowing much about your hitting style, it is tough to recommend which bat would be best for you. The 2014 Easton MAKO Youth Baseball Bat (YB14MK) is a great choice for a player who can hit for both power and contact. It features a balanced swing weight, which is generally preferred by contact hitters. It also has an extended barrel, which is generally only seen in end loaded bats. If you are more of a power hitter, and are on the stronger side, I would recommend checking out an end loaded bat to see if those specs may better suite your hitting style. A great choice I would recommend would be the MAKO XL.

Great service!! I have already recommended Just Bats .com to several of my coaches who have also ordered bats. Great job keep up the good work. We appreciate it in Hawaii because there are no places to get quality baseball equipment. Having Just enables us to keep our kids equipped with the latest gear.
