Description

There are 3 constants when it comes to slow pitch players and their bats. They want a bat that's hot out of the wrapper, they're always looking for the next best thing, and they prefer either a balanced or end-loaded design. Raw Power is Easton's answer. The Raw Power line features the B-Series that offers evenly balanced designs for controlled power, and the L-Series that offers end-loaded designs for absolute maximum power. Part of the B-Series, the B2.0 has a longer 13.5 inch evenly balanced barrel for a controlled, yet powerful swing. The B2.0 features Easton's Single System Composite Design for even more bat control. The barrel is constructed from Easton's trademark IMX Composite for an optimal sweet spot and maximum performance, while SIC Black Carbon is added to the handle to create the BEST feeling composite bat you'll EVER swing. The handle is wrapped with an ultra-thin gauze grip that is perfect for players that like tack without the bulkiness of many modern grips. The time is now to bring Raw Power to YOUR game. Easton: Engineered for Glory! The B2.0 is approved for play in USSSA, NSA, ISA, and ISF. It is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Easton B2.0 Slow Pitch Softball Bat: SP14B2? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

Other than the warranty, what is the difference between the SP13B2 and the SP14B2? Is there any difference in the feel or the way the ball comes off the bat? Mike
The 2014 Easton B2.0 (SP14B2) Slow Pitch Softball Bat is the same as the SP13B2. The only difference is the warranty and the color/paint scheme. The performance and the feel are the same.
Jason
How does this bat compare to it's older version; the (SCN2) Synergy+ CNT? Mike
The 2014 Easton B2.0 (SP14B2) Slow Pitch Softball Bat would offer the same balanced swing weight and 13.5" barrel length as the (SCN2). But this B2.0 features the newest USSSA performance certification and is designed to hit the lower compression softballs. This B2.0 also offers a stiffer flex with the upgraded SIC Black Carbon Composite handle.
Mac
Would you recommend this bat if we play with a 400 compression ball with a .44 core? Seb
The old NSA balls used to be those .44 core 400 compression rated balls. This year, NSA has switched more to USSSA style balls which have either a .40 or .52 core and either a 325 or 275 compression rating. These new balls are much softer. The 2014 Easton B2.0 (SP14B2) Slow Pitch would be stamped and rated to hit those softer balls. Older NSA stamped bats would be better to use with those small core high compression balls if durability is the goal.
Patrick
Where is it made? Doug
The 2014 Easton B2.0 Slow Pitch Softball Bat (SP14B2) is made in China.
Mac
What is the difference between the B1.0 and the B2.0? Scott
The Easton B2.0 Slow Pitch Softball Bat (SP14B2) and the B1.0 are fairly similar bats. The B2.0 features a balanced swing weight and a one-piece fully composite design. The B1.0 features a balanced swing weight and a two-piece fully composite design. The B1.0 will have more flex because of the two-piece design and the B2.0 will have a stiffer feel because of the one-piece design.
Jason
Is it ASA approved & why was it discontinued? Ed Kushner
(1) This Easton B2.0 Slow Pitch Softball Bat: (SP14B2) does not feature ASA certification. (2) It was discontinued from JustBats because we were unable to stock any more options due to availability from the manufacturer after they stopped producing the bat.
