Description

There are 3 constants when it comes to slow pitch players and their bats. They want a bat that's hot out of the wrapper, they're always looking for the next best thing, and they prefer either a balanced or end-loaded design. Raw Power is Easton's answer. The Raw Power line features the B-Series that offers evenly balanced designs for controlled power, and the L-Series that offers end-loaded designs for absolute maximum power. Part of the B-Series, the B1.0 has a longer 13.5 inch evenly balanced barrel for a controlled, yet powerful swing. The B1.0 features Easton's patented two-piece ConneXion technology that holds together this fully composite design. The barrel is constructed from Easton's trademark IMX Composite for an optimal sweet spot and maximum performance, while SIC Black Carbon is added to the handle to create the BEST feeling composite bat you'll EVER swing. This handle is wrapped with an ultra-thin gauze grip that is perfect for players that like tack without the bulkiness of many modern grips. The time is now to bring Raw Power to YOUR game. Easton: Engineered for Glory! The B1.0 is approved for play in USSSA, NSA, ISA, and ISF. It is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

Would this be a good bat for USSSA Classic M balls which are .40 core 325 compression? spjoneser

I am a smaller guy at 5' 6" 140 lbs. I'm a spray line drive hitter with occasional power. Would this be a good bat for me? If so, would I go with a 26 or 27 oz. bat? Thank you. Short stop
The 2014 Easton B1.0 Slow Pitch Softball Bat (SP14B1) would be perfect. The swing weight will be very balanced and have a light weight feel. At your size, I would get the 26 oz. model to keep your bat speeds very high.
Brandon
How does this bat handle with the 52 core 275 balls? Stu
The 2014 Easton B1.0 Slow Pitch Softball Bat (SP14B1) is USSSA certified making it perfect for that style of ball.
Patrick
I see this bat does not have the ASA stamp. Does this mean it does not meet their safety standards? Milly
You're correct in that this 2014 Easton B1.0 Slow Pitch Softball Bat (SP14B1) will not feature an ASA performance certification mark. Typically, neither ASA or USSSA leagues will allow bats only certified for the other organization to be used (ie an ASA league typically won't let you use a bat only certified for USSSA and not ASA). We don't have a lot of insight into the certification process, so I regrettably couldn't say exactly why the B1.0 doesn't also feature an ASA stamp. The B3.0 would be the same kind of design but certified for ASA play.
