Solid Bat Dave parent
Pros: Nice improvement over CF5. Son really hit shots solid. No Vibration Nice shot pop off the barrel even on off solid shots Nicely balanced.
Cons: Maybe better color, not so dull.
Whipping Bat Michael K other
Pros: Bat has an amazing Whip allowing a nice shot off the barrel. My son is cracking the ball of it....No vibration,
Cons: None
waste of money jj player
Pros: it looks pretty
Cons: i got the bat and after the first 100 hit is cracked it is not worth the money
Too Balanced Jason T parent
Pros: Very Balanced...light...
Cons: Too Balanced. Son is swinging right through Sweet spot is smaller it seems and if don't hit right on it, ball goes no where.
Disappointed to some degree Oliver M parent
Pros: Son says feeling feels okay, little or no vibration.
Cons: Sweet spot has been smaller than he would have liked. Have to hit the ball just perfect for the ball to pop which at 9 is very hard to do. He says the CF5 had a bigger sweet spot. Pop is just okay, nothing better than other bats used. Very very balanced so if 29, use a 30, etc. Bat is lighter for the bigger boys.
Nothing Special Jose O parent
Pros: Bat has little vibration
Cons: Pop could be better. Sweetspot is not as wide as Mako or XL1
awsome bat Dominic Santullo player
Pros: awsome pop
Cons: nothing its awsome
This bat crushes Mahki backstrom player
Pros: The cf6 has no vibrational when hitting the ball especially of the end cap. Awesome grip and feeling. I have a cf5 and the cf6 has bigger sweet spot then the cf5 to me. The ball jumps of the and has so much pop in it, overall just a great bat
Cons: None.
Nice Bat None player
Pros: Nice swing and easy to get through the zone with speed.
Cons: Sweet spot could be little bigger.
Solid so far DMT parent
Pros: My son only used a couple of times in the cage, but there's a noticeable increase in exit velocity off bat and very little vibration on miss-hits. The bat seems pretty well balanced. Can't really comment on durability yet.
Cons: None yet
I was wrong Sam parent
Pros: I wrote a review earlier that said this bat had little pop. I was wrong. Bat needs to be broken in, plain and simple. After about 45 days or about 500 balls, this thing is hot. Ball flies off the bat after its ready to go and now my son is using this thing over his other bats. Nice sweat spot.
Cons: Bat needs about 500-700 balls to break in. But it pops after it does.
Good look but disappointed Scott parent
Pros: As much as i love the CF5 i was disappointed with the new CF6. Ordered a 30/19 and when i compared it to the CF5 the CF6 Barrel was about an inch smaller + it felt heavy so i had it weighed and it was over 2 onces too heavy. Ended up being a 30/21. We never hit a ball with it, resold it. I would assume everything else about the bat is still good.
Cons: Smaller Barrel than the CF5 and not the correct weight.
Wow, Just Wow Pierce Mehrten player
Pros: Wow I had 2 baseball games for my 13u USSSA team, I ended up using this batt hitting 6 times in 2 games and i can not explain how good it is! 5 doubles, and one single, now my 5 doubles were all great powerful hits and just launched the ball, They could of been easily 5 triples but I am Extremely slow. I highly recommend this bat to any baseball player out there.
Cons: NOTHINGG
Yukon
Pros: Sweet bat, extremely hot, fast as balls fire off this bat's barrel!
Cons: Awesome bat
This bat hits rockets! Johnny Y parent
Pros: My son is a 10yr old playing LL minors division. We bought this bat and as has been reported previously, it required a minimum of 600 balls to break in. The players on my sons team are all noticing how my sons hits land rockets to the fence. If you get your hands through the zone the ball fly's off the bat! It is either a rocket through the infield, or a rocket line drive. In any case, all the travel ball players on our team are now very interested in this bat.
Cons: 500-700 swings to break it in properly.
Jerry
Pros: As any parent wants their kid to play to the best of their potential, I always try to give him the best tools to do so. I am a believer that this bat has brought my sons hitting to the next level. The ball screams off the bat making your routine outs that much harder to handle. He's only got about 75 hits off the bat, I can't wait till 500-700 for proper break in. I know there's a lot of bats out there to choose from but we're pretty stoked we got the CF6.
Cons: Nothing so far.
CF6 (pros and cons) Christian player
Pros: Great bat, like the d fusion handle because it eliminates vibration. overall a really good bat. A ton of pop.
Cons: if there is a low pitch and I try not to swing and I do. I try to stop but I always check swing it (maybe that's just me)
CF6 Ryan parent
Pros: This bat is hitting machine
Cons: None
This bat is unexplainable! Bubby the slammer player
Pros: Where do I start! This bat has exceptional pop! It is extremely balanced. It has exceed my expectations! I want all the other players to keep buying the makos and leave the advantage to my team!
Cons: Make sure you wear batting gloves because the grip will start to hurt your hands. Other than that why is this even a category?
This bat hits bombs! Country boy player
Pros: This bat is really hot right out of the wrapper. I bought the bat the day before my 11U AAU game and had no chance to break it in. I used it in BP before the game and I was amazed the pop and feel of the bat. So I decided to use it in the game. The first at bat against the best pitcher I laced one up the middle. Then I hit a bomb dead center field and got robbed of a home run! And to think that it isn't even broken in yet! The feel is really good no vibration at all it looks awesome and the pop is unbelievable! I can't judge on durability yet because I've only played in one game and practice. Get this bat! It will be the best decision you will ever make!
Cons: The grip starts to hurt your hands after a while so where batting gloves! Another complaint is why did demarini have to make there bat so good because now everyone wants to use it!
best bat ever!!! noak player
Pros: nothing is too good about the bat! it looks and feels so good!!!
Cons: NONE!!!!
awesome!! jakob player
Pros: Insane pop and no vibration hit 3 line drive home runs with it, feels great
Cons: NOTHING
Not feeling the love for the CF6 Steve L parent
Pros: The hope that it may get better with more break-in.
Cons: First, I am a fan of DeMarini. My son has used the Vexuum, Voodoo and CF5 in the past and loved them all. That's why he wanted the CF6 the minute it came out. Maybe we got a lemon? But, we're not feeling the love for the bat. The sweet spot is smaller than his CF5 LE. And, for a bat that says there is no vibration, you do feel the mishit in your hands. While my son LOVES his CF5, this bat just does not feel the same. And, I am not seeing to pop - compared to his other DeMarini bats. Break in? He's taken, easily, 500 swings off the tee with it by now - maybe more. Not sure if it's ever going to get better.
Pretty Good Me player
Pros: Great bat, one of the best I've had, yet didn't meet my expectations.
Cons: As I said, it's a great bat, but compared to my XL1, not my favorite. Although I hit a homerun my first at bat of the season, it was barely over, with my XL1 I easily hit them out, and DEEP. Overall, very good bat, but not the best.
awesome!!! Dante player
Pros: the sweet spot is the top lots of pop and doesnt hurt
Cons: lots of pop
Wow... T-ion player
Pros: Amazing bat, the bat hits the ball for you! No sting what so ever! Don't hesitate at all, buy it!
Cons: None!!
the bat is amazing jim pinch player
Pros: the best bat ever in my opinion the look of it is like lava it is sick
Cons: vibration on the CF6 is okay
Should have got the Mako Matt Endicott parent
Pros: We hope that it will get broken in soon. Also like the D-Fusion Handel.
Cons: My son Josh got the DeMarini CF5 LE last year for his all-star team, and he is still hitting home runs and crushing the ball with the bat. Then we decided to check out the 2014 Easton XL1, he hasent used it much, but when he does the ball flys off the bat. But when he saw the CF6 he told he that he wanted the bat, but at the same time we wanted the Mako. So I asked some of my friends and they said that he should get the CF6. So we ended up getting the CF6, and so far im not very impressed and he has atleast taken 100 swings, maybe even more. So if your son says that he wants the CF6, ask to check the Mako first becaused he will like it much more.
horrible steven player
Pros: nothing
Cons: it broke right after the 2nd day i got it .also it hurt when when i swung the bat it stinks
HOME RUN CRUSER TONY player
Pros: This bat is a amazing I hit 4 home runs this year 1 with this bat 1 with a cf5 1 with a Easton stealth and 1 with the s1 and it flew off the best with this bat and I didn't even break it in.
Cons: NONE
okay ss player
Pros: okay, even though it's not as good as any other bat in the CF series, it's still got a good amount of pop in it once it's broken in and stuff
Cons: inside pitches just kill your hands.... I found that to be true with most demarini bats this year.....
awesome bat brycie j player
Pros: the bat has a lot of pop and little to no vibration
Cons: nothing
Cf6 Jonthomas Bierman player

Great bat Baseball dad parent
Pros: When my son is playing 8u coach pitch all stars he uses his 29/19 xl1. When playing 9u Allstars he uses his 29/18 cf6. He has more control and is able to wait longer before swinging with the cf6 than his xl1. The cf6 has 0 sting on Mishits and great pop too. The xl1 barrel is slightly longer but sweet spots are similar. This also takes far less time to break in compared to his xl1.
Cons: Too balanced for some. Grip is not the most comfortable.
Better than the mnko Nick player
Pros: I used a mnko hit singles doubles I used cf6 I hit shots all over I hit 2 hr
Cons: None
Amazing bat baseballsuperstar77 player
Pros: A great bat with no sting. It is worth the money. The bat has great pop and it isn't even broken in yet.
Cons: I cant stop hitting the ball.
cf6 ks parent
Pros: This bat has great pop. My son loves it. Highly recommended .
Cons: None
2014 DeMarini CF6 Youth Baseball Bat DXCFL David W. parent
Pros: The way the ball is jumping off the bat right now is AWESOME!!! My son can't wait until the bat gets completely broken in. At that time it should be lights out. A few of the kids on his team that own MAKO'S are using it and like it alot. My gut feeling on this bat is that it's the best thing for my son right now. If I still coached I would have bought a few of these for the rest of the team.
Cons: None at this time.
Amazing Bat!! ?? Random player
Pros: -Maximum pop -Light swing weight -Ball flies off the bat fast -Feels good in your hands -No vibration AT ALL -Pretty nice sound, when you make contact -You know when you hit the ball on the barrel because of the way the bat feels when you make contact. Overall, it is an amazing bat! ??
Cons: I haven't found any con's at all.

First composite bat - good purchase DS parent
Pros: We bought the DeMarini CF6 (29" 18oz) bat for our 8 year old son. He is much more of a contact - hit it in the gaps type of hitter and didn't really hit for any serious power. He had always used an Easton aluminum bat and did well but this CF6 definitely raised his game this past fall season. The hits that used to just go over the SS & 2nd baseman's head into the gaps now went over the outfielders heads and hit the fence. Love the sound it makes on a solid hit....more like the loud crack of a wooden bat. You could definitely hear the difference once the bat was fully broken in and it only seems to be getting better as my son hits more with it this winter. He says there is no sting at all with any hits.
Cons: When we first got it I thought it felt much heavier than other 18oz bats that I had picked up. Without saying anything to him my son felt the same way. The bat is balanced ok but does seem to have a little bit more weight at the end for power. Not a big deal. My son just chokes up a little and that counteracts that little extra weight.
Beast!!!!! Jacob torrey player
Pros: When I got this bat, I made the all stars and batted close to .700. This bat has crazy pop hit line drives all day. I hit 3 homers and I'm pretty short for my age. This bat is beast!

better than Makjunk base hits all day parent
Pros: better than the Mako my 12 year old broke the Makjunk in less than a year. CF6 will give you great distance no matter where the ball comes in contact with barrel, shouldve bought this bat first, no vibration and he hits it just as far batting left or right handed unlike when he used the Mako
Cons: none its a Demarini

About the Brand
In 1992, DeMarini Sports had something to celebrate. The three-year-old company had climbed a rung on the proverbial ladder of success, moving its world headquarters from a dirt-floored barn to a slightly larger metal shack. "It was a big move for us," recalled Ray DeMarini from the batting cage of DeMarini Sport’s present-day Bat Industrial Complex. "The new shop was larger, more storm resistant, and -best of all- it had a heater."
In the early days, DeMarini Sports hardly made a blip on the radar screen of softball. With no retailers and virtually no advertising budget, DeMarini grew steadily by selling high-performance bats directly to customers. While established companies made "juiced" bats for the pros and ordinary bats for the public, DeMarini focused on making one line of high-performance bats for pros and amateurs alike. This approach, combined with a passion for the sport, led to the greatest innovation in softball history - the world’s first multi-wall bat: the DeMarini Doublewall.
Released in 1993, the DeMarini Doublewall was the world’s first multi-wall bat. Like a modern golf driver or oversized tennis racket, the Doublewall had a giant "sweetspot," which allowed average players to hit like pros. DeMarini’s sales exploded, and before long opposing bat manufacturers to notice. DeMarini - a homegrown company led by a softball fanatic - had shaken the establishment silly.
To understand the rise of the DeMarini Dynasty, you need to know Ray DeMarini. A cult hero among avid players, Ray DeMarini emerged on the professional softball scene at the age of 40, a veritable geriatric among younger players. With a scientific approach to training, a batting speed of 96 miles-per-hour and a bombastic attitude, DeMarini fast earned a reputation as a savage competitor.
In June of 1987, ESPN launched a nationwide search for a hardcore player to advise on a series of instructional softball videos. When approached by producer Erich Lytle, the biggest boys in softball repeatedly spoke of a five-foot-seven softball giant—Ray DeMarini. DeMarini had mastered reflex hitting, a technique that drops the ball squarely between the infield and outfield. Impressed with DeMarini's knowledge and scientific approach to training, Lytle not only hired Ray as an advisor—he hired him as the host. Together, they produced Ray DeMarini's Reflex Hitting System, ESPN's most successful home video to date.
Having garnered national recognition through ESPN, Ray turned his efforts toward designing a high-performance bat for the masses. To accomplish this, he needed an engineer. "Not just an engineer," he said, "but a boot-strapping rocket scientist who could build an empire with pocket change." Ray's call was answered by Mike Eggiman. Having grown up on a farm, Eggiman was adept at making the most of a situation. Case in point: the company's first piece of automated bat-making equipment had the heart of an abandoned washing machine.
With Eggiman as Chief Engineer, DeMarini Sports delivered a series of industry firsts: the first multi-wall bat (Doublewall Distance), the first high-performance bat for massive players (Fatboy) and the first high-performance youth bat (Black Coyote).
In 2000, DeMarini joined forces with Wilson Sporting Goods to develop the next generation of hitting technology. Ray believed it was a perfect fit, as both companies shared a vision of developing game-enhancing equipment for avid players. What’s more, the companies had complimentary products: Wilson was the leader in gloves, balls and protective gear, while DeMarini made the world’s finest bats. According to Chris Considine, Vice President/General Manager of Wilson Sporting Goods: "The thing that struck me most about DeMarini was their passion for sports and their true competitiveness.
Within a year, DeMarini unveiled the industry’s first concept bat, the $35,000 F1. Secured under lock and key at the DeMarini Bat Industrial Complex in Hillsboro, Oregon, the F1 served as a technological storehouse for future products, including DeMarini’s landmark Half & Half system.
In December 2001, 12 years after the genesis of DeMarini Sports, Ray DeMarini died of cancer in his Northwest Portland home. He was 55. The next summer, the Portland Metro Softball Association paid homage to the “King of Softball” with the dedication of Ray DeMarini Field. Formerly known as Delta #1, the field was DeMarini’s favorite place to test bats during the early days of business. Ray DeMarini—bat maker and player extraordinaire—was remembered for his high-performance softball bats and unwavering encouragement of everyday players. Today, a 40-foot sign announcing RAY DEMARINI FIELD graces the outfield, and an interpretive display chronicling Ray’s life greets players as they register for games.
More "Insane Dedication to Performance" is in store for tomorrow.
