2014 DeMarini CF6: DXCFS Fastpitch |
Average Customer Review
Bought this bat last week for my daughter to replace her 1.5 year old Worth 454 legit light. She is 11 years old and 70 lbs., so it is hard to find a good bat for her to use in travel ball. So glad DeMarini came out with this drop 11, we got the 30/19 and she will still get about 2 years out of it. As a coach, I cannot stand a girl trying to swing a bat that is too big against 50+ mph pitches. My daughter fell in love with this bat at first sight and swing! She has been jacking the ball in the outfield and hitting nice line drives and hot grounders. In less than a week, she has at least 100 hits on it and you would never know it was right out of the wrapper! She also commented that it does not hurt as bad when you hit one off of the end like other bats. Thank you so much Demarini for finally making an amazing, well balanced bat for every age and size!
The price was something to ponder over, but once I see how much my daughter loves this bat and is hitting just as well as any other girl on the field, the cost is not a concern!
Bought the 2012 and 2013 CF5 -11. The 2012 was the hotter bat compared to the 2013 model. The new CF6 is a very impressive bat. Watching my daughter hit with it makes me believe it is hotter then the 2012. She is tall but has a small frame and can easily bring her hands through the zone with more bat speed and power. The ball flies off the bat for deep line drives.
Hope they fixed the durability with this model and will last longer then the 2012 CF5.

My daughter weighs 175 and is 5'5" but does not have great bat speed. Would you recommend the 33" (-11)? CF6 or something different?
The 2014 DeMarini CF6: DXCFS Fastpitch is a very balanced bat. It would be a great option for a player who needs to increase their bat speed.
Is the DeMarini CF6 really better than the CF5 or is it just a new paint job?
The new DeMarini CF6 uses a higher quality Paradox composite for a bigger and hotter sweetspot.
Daughter is 5' 6" and 140 lbs currently uses a 32" 22 oz. Is that correct? It seems like she should be swinging quicker for her size.
The 2014 DeMarini CF6: DXCFS Fastpitch would be a good choice for her if she's struggling with bat speed, at a -11. Anywhere from a -9 to a -11 is common for someone her size, and 32" would be a good length for her based on her size.

To this day, Ray DeMarini's Reflex Hitting System is still ESPN's most successful home video. Taking his expertise and credibility to his self-named company, DeMarini made headlines in 1993 with the world's first multi-wall bat, the Doublewall.
