Extra Distance.... D.T. coach
Pros: The bat is well balanced, with a huge sweet spot. The ball jumps off the barrel and travels the extra distance needed for the extra base hits. My son and his 10u travel team love this bat. Nearly every kid on the team uses the bat, with base hit after base hit. Not one crack or dent in the bat with nearly a 1000 hits (in games and batting practice) on the bat.
Cons: A little sting on the hands when mishit either off the end of the bat or near the handle. But this could happen with any bat...Just to help a little we put on an Easton PowerPad and it seemed to help with the sting.
Great POP, Huge sweet spot, CRACKED after 2 Tourn. Red Hawks Baseball parent
Pros: This bat is HOT out of the wrapper. Sweet spot is as advertised...my son was making great contact and was hitting further and harder than he ever has, consistently around .500 for the first 2 tourneys.
Cons: Third tourney, The barrel cracked right in the middle of the sweet spot after he drilled a line drive off the wall. Going back for a replacement...another player tried my sons bat, loved it, ordered his own and his cracked in his 2nd tourney...great bat if they would SURVIVE...boys are 12u, about 5'4", 105 lbs, using 31" bats.
Great Bat; Tons of POP! Jose M parent
Pros: My son has a 30/18 and 30/20 and loves both bats...The 30/18's paint cracked just a bit but bat is still great...Plays 11U Travel Ball, 5'2", 124 lbs...Last HR was 300+ feet...Highly recommend this bat! Zero vibration or sting; well balanced and the black color looks great!
Cons: Paint cracks but does not affect bat performance
Great bat!!! Huge sweet just as described! KC's dad parent
Pros: I bought this bat for my 7yr old son and it is truly "hot out the wrapper"! We took the plastic off and I pitched a few to him and I almost got caught in the face with a line drive because the ball came off the so fast that I nearly misjudged it! Much better response than his Easton S1!
Cons: None
no title Steve Brown parent
Pros: Good looking bat.
Cons: Recieved this bat (30"/20 oz) as a replacement for Combat B4 that cracked in it's second tournaments last Spring (not used in cold temps.). My son was out of a bat for three weeks. This one came with "no warranty" engraved on it. My son used this bat for three tournaments during the summer and it cracked. My son's 11 yrs old and weighs 80lbs. Not a big power hitter. We're now looking for a new bat for Fall Ball. It was an OK bat when he used it, but I think a cheaper bat would have done the same or better. I wouldn't recommend this bat to anyone. I paid $150.00 for the B4 bat and I don't feel I received much return on investment even with a free replacement bat.
Great Bat for a 7U Player Eddie Collins coach
Pros: My son loved this bat playing 7U and 8U ball this summer. He is 7 (47" and 49lbs) and swings the 27"/17 oz. The bat was hot right out of the wrapper, and he had tons of confidence hitting it. Several other of his teammates also liked the bat and abandoned their bats to use his. The bat is very well balanced for a smaller player. Has one of the best grips out there for a bat in this price range.
Cons: The paint did chip fairly easily and the knob sticker feel off but nothing that affected the play ability of the bat.
