I switched from DeMarini Voodoo to this Rawlins bat and I am very impressed. Great pop and very well balanced. Just a great bat love it.

Pros:
This is definitely the best BBCOR bat - very very big sweet spot. Well balanced. I also like the cosmetic. Look very nice!

Pros:
Best Rawlings bat i have ever hit with. Amazing pop on this bat. Very well balanced.
Cons:
Grip is bad without batting gloves, but with batting gloves its very good.

I am mostly a contact hitter that can muscle out a double every once in a while. I also have pretty decent bat speed. Should I go with the Velo or 5150?

If you have above average bat speed, the 2013 Rawlings 5150 Alloy BBCOR: BBCA2 would be recommended. If you have average or below average swing speed, the 2013 Rawlings VELO BBCOR: BBVELO would be recommended.

I currently have the XL1 BBCOR bat. I swing a 32" model. I am 5'11" 164 lbs. and still growing. I am a power hitter but I swing for contact the majority of the time. Would you recommend me going with this bat or the XL1 again? And also what size?

It's always recommend that a player stick with the same type of bat they have used in the past with the most success. In doing so, the player is much, much more likely to have continued success at the plate. Thus, I would recommend sticking with the XL1 if you have had success with it. Based on your size, a 33" model is recommended.

It sounds to me like the 2013 Rawlings VELO BBCOR: BBVELO Adult would be a good bat for you but I would go with the 2013 Louisville Slugger TPX Attack BBCOR. It would be perfect for you to elevate your game.
