My son is 6' tall and 140 lbs., he recently was able to demo the 2013 Louisville Slugger TPX Omaha Balanced BBCOR: BB136 Adult and the 2013 Rawlings Velo. He is more of a contact hitter, but does have some power. Which bat would you suggest?

Both the 2013 Louisville Slugger TPX Omaha Balanced BBCOR: BB136 Adult and the 2013 Rawlings VELO BBCOR: BBVELO Adult bat are one-piece alloy designs with balanced swing weights. Both would be great options for a contact hitter.

I'm currently thinking about buying either this Omaha bat or an Easton S1. Due to reviews, ratings and taking everything into consideration, what bat would better suit me? I'm 5'11, 135 pounds, and a freshman in high school.

The 2013 Louisville Slugger TPX Omaha Balanced BBCOR: BB136 Adult and the 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR:BB13S1 are both very balanced bats. The 2013 Louisville Slugger TPX Omaha Balanced BBCOR will be stiffer than the 2013 Eatson S1 BBCOR, better for a player with some power. Both bats perform very well.
