Does this bat have the same pop as the earlier model, the slx 65?
The 2013 Louisville Slugger TPX Omaha: SL1365 Senior League bat is brand new for the 2013 model year. It is made from the newest materials from Louisville Slugger, its pop should be great compared to older model years.
My son just busted an Omaha Six 65 model. He ad it for 2 1/2 years and loved everything about it! My question is does this bat have the same pop to it? Is the pop the same, better, or a little less? Might not be exactly sure on the model but it was a -5, white barrel bat, with the gold handle.
The 2013 Louisville Slugger TPX Omaha: SL1365 Senior League bat will be a -5 drop. It will feature a one-piece fully alloy design. It also has one of the lightest, most balanced swing weights on the market. This would be an awesome choice.
Is this BBCOR?
Only bats with a -3 drop will be BBCOR certified making them legal for high school and college play. Here is a link to our listing of BBCOR bats: http://www.justbats.com/products/length%20to%20weight%20ratio~-%203/?s=bbcor
