Yes, the 2013 Louisville Slugger TPX Attack: SL13A Senior League bat will need a period of break-in. For bats with composite hitting surfaces, we recommend 150-200 hits off a batting tee or soft toss. It’s best to start off at about 40% power, and gradually increase. Also, be sure to rotate the bat a quarter of turn in your hands after every hit.
