2013 DeMarini Voodoo: DXVDR Senior League |
Average Customer Review
Outstanding bat, we've got the 30/21 for an 11 year old. Was worried that it may be to heavy for him. Man was I wrong, he hit three home runs in two games last night. Followed by one all the way to the center field fence. Funny thing is when he came to the dug out he looked at me and said, Coach I didnt even try to hit hard.
During the games I had him lay down a bunt. Not real impressed with it due to the amount of pop the bat has. My son soft bunted down third base side and ball went almost all the way to third.
son hit a 250 foot bomb over the fence with this bat, great graphics, feels solid, great pop
it feels a little heavy at first (endloaded) I would practice w it a few days or so before using in a game situation--- it definetely has a different weight distribution than the other popular models

How does the 2013 Voodoo differ from the 2012 Voodoo? Are they both end weighted?
The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo: DXVDR Senior League will be designed like the 2012 model. They will be two-piece, composite handle, alloy barrel designs. They will both have barrel heavy, end loaded swing weights. The 2013 will just have newer bat materials.
I was listening to the sounds of the 2013 and 2014 Voodoo bats. They seem to sound very different, even though the barrels are made out of the same material. Is this correct?
The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo: DXVDR Senior League bat and 2014 DeMarini Voodoo: DXVDR Senior League bats are made with the same X10 alloy on their barrels. The walls of the 2014 Voodoo are thinner which will change the sound and performance of the bat.
When will this bat be available in 32"?
The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo: DXVDR Senior League is discontinued. The 2014 DeMarini Voodoo: DXVDR Senior League is available in a 32" 23 oz.
In 1992, DeMarini Sports had something to celebrate. The three-year-old company had climbed a rung on the proverbial ladder of success, moving its world headquarters from a dirt-floored barn to a slightly larger metal shack. "It was a big move for us," recalled Ray DeMarini from the batting cage of DeMarini Sport’s present-day Bat Industrial Complex. "The new shop was larger, more storm resistant, and -best of all- it had a heater." In the early days, DeMarini Sports hardly made a blip on the radar screen of softball. With no retailers and virtually no advertising budget, DeMarini.... read more
